I've paid to take an insurance exam in SC TWICE. And both attempts were never resolved by PSI. They lie, the people on the phone are rude, and they quite honestly are one of the most inefficient self-serving organizations I've ever come in contact with.
The second time I payed and tried to take the exam, I was 7 questions through when my wifi shorted out for a second, throwing me out of the test. Then I had to restart the (entirely excessive and slow) security process AGAIN. When I finally got back into my exam...it had completed it automatically. Meaning, I had only answered 7/150 questions and the test had submitted itself. I tried to get my proctors attention only to catch some attitude in the chat from them. I called technical support and no one knew what to do and just kept putting me on hold. They finally said "my case would be reviewed" and I would need to call back the following Wednesday. So I did. They said that my case was not ready and they would call me when they're ready. It's been about a month and I haven't heard anything. This organization has wasted a lot of my time and energy. I would like my $90 fully refunded.
There are so many hoops to jump through just to take the exam that something is bound to screw up every time. And the only contact you have with your proctor is through a little chat on the screen. Very slow, very hard to get help if a problem arises.
This business is so inefficient and it's sad to see that psi is used by many states for licensure exams. If you can avoid PSI I would highly recommend you do so. If you cannot, be sure to just take it in person and avoid remote proctors through psi.

When trying to take my online PSI exam for my Principal Broker license in OR, I could not log in with my credentials to their site. Despite using my email to send me communication, they insisted that I could not log in with my email and the site did not recognize it. Long story but I showed up for my test all prepared, could not log in, and the **************** rep could not solve the problem so I did not end up taking my test. I asked for a refund for services not delivered, and they not only said they could not promise a refund ($75), but did not answer any of my **************** emails to help me reschedule an in person test. I purchased a practice test from them ($25) that promised that I could take the test multiple times. When I tried to take the test more than once, it looped me back into a payment gateway to pay again. So I only got to take one practice test. When no one would respond to my enquiry about the practice test or rescheduling of my Principal Broker test, I ended up having to go to my credit card company to cancel the payment.

I then wrote to them a week ago requesting a new in-person test, and they asked me for some dates. I replied with dates. It has been a week and still no reply and I am not scheduled.

The reason that this company gets away with this kind of thing is because they are the only testing option provided to the realtors of Oregon. They don't have to provide even a modicum of **************** and they don't.

I have filed a complaint with OREA, TrustPilot and SiteJabber. This company actively harms people's ability to do their jobs and make a living. They should be shut down or massively overhauled.
