Survey Junkie put me through the steps of verification. I did this manually with my computer They refused comment on this and only phoned me once. . They gave me generic follow-*** with no contact person. They stopped talking to me about verification. I am questioning this form of communication. I cannot retrieve my reward without verification.Business response

In order to improve the security of Survey Junkie and its members, we are introducing a new process of verification which is Photo ID verification, which will be a one-time verification tool for our panelists. As a quality and verification measurement tool -this might be required at any point of the membership, in order to additionally:
a) verify the account ( regardless of previous verification statuses)
b) to exclude the chance of the account being compromised
c) monitor the quality of provided information (honest and accurate information about themselves and all survey questions to the best of their ability)This method is used extensively in the market research industry for security and quality purposes.Again, we would like to emphasize that this is a one-time verification check that members will not have to repeat over the lifetime of their account. That being said, our support team was unable to get in touch with the member on 5/9/24 for a verification call. However, their account has since been verified and they are now able to redeem their rewards.

Doing surveys for survey junky for 2 1/2 years. And they treat me very racist they never pay me what the survey is offering because they cater to Hispanics. How do I know because they ask every other hod dammed question and don't you sit there and bs me!Business response

We want to assure you that Survey Junkie does not condone or tolerate discrimination or harassment on our platform in any form. With that said, our records indicate the member has been properly compensated for all successfully completed surveys as well as received courtesy points for cases where they did not qualify or the survey filled up.
Basic profile questions may appear on surveys, such as asking for your age, zip code or race, as a way to ensure consistent responses are shared. Providers do not have access to this data inherently and can only gain it through surveys. If at any point you do not feel comfortable continuing with a survey, the survey session can be easily terminated. Participation is voluntary and the type of answers provided are at the member's discretion.
While you won't qualify for every survey, Survey Junkie is constantly working to optimize and improve the survey-taking experience. We are committed to improving our platform and services, and we will take the member's feedback into consideration as we work to improve Survey Junkie.

I am rejecting this response because: This happens every day check my activity it's all 3 pointers like I'm in the *** or something. I reject this because it's regurgitating what they tell me everytime I complain. Race is the only question they ask about and they want me to be gay and I'm not. They have never given me anything fair or any effort at all in rectifying anything I've mentioned to them. They gave me 30 points one time which is and insult when one survey gives you much more than that. If that's the case then they owe me over 5000 points just check my activity how can I get it ? They know this , and this is why they refuse to treat me right. Constantly advertising special bonuses and every time is sign up I get 3 points or nothing. If the BBB just going to waste my time the ill be going higher with more agencies up to my own lawyer . No black man has a lawyer right? They lie and have always lied. Nothing new but I am demanding 5000 points and that is a low ball. Ask for my activity it's pathetic and only shows how racist they are. You may not want to go there but we are coming from there absolutely. All about the Hispanics and immigrants. I served country in combat arms and you want to be so dam condescending in repair efforts. Basically laughing at me. No I reject and want them to know I'm prepared to go further because your behavior historically is the same as now. No urgency, no care, no respect and extremely unprofessional, no people skills, no honesty, no Accountability whatsoever! 5000 points you owe and you'll see it's more. Don't blame it on some people my ***, Hispanics and Latinos is the people the want. Take a survey once. As soon as any 100 points show it crashes even in a row they will crash! 400 I'm not allowed, 200,forget about it. 90, 80, nope not allowed. Bonuses nope never allowed. So ghetto me right? And the more madder I get I still say I can prove what I'm truthfully telling you. After 2 almost 3 years am not just crying about it. If I don't see 5000 points on my app I'm going to ask my lawyer to go for money so he can get his and me get mine. Survey Junky has had a ton of chances to fix this. So arrogant and smug. I totally reject their response in fact they did exactly what I thought they would do, precisely. All responses are the same condescending themes that infuriate people, they do care. And I'm still doing free surveys, who else is?

Please also note that though it can be disappointing, getting disqualified or terminated from surveys is a common occurrence and a part of survey taking. It is possible that during the survey, as the survey providers were gathering information, they determined the member was not the kind of participant they were looking for, so they terminated the survey. This can happen at any point in a survey, regardless of how much is completed. Please note that Survey Junkie has no say in members getting disqualified or terminated from a survey and it is up to the sole discretion of the survey providers. However, to reward members for their time and effort we award 2 or 3 points for every disqualification. That being said, third party survey providers do not receive the information a member provides on a survey, if the survey is terminated, meaning a members answers are only saved if they successfully complete the whole survey and receive full points.Customer response

With that said, the member has since passed verification via a data append process and is not required to bypass additional verification at this time. The account is now in good standing and fully verified, and the member is able to redeem their rewards as well as continue taking surveys.Customer response

I had $61.34 in rewards that they needed to manually apply to my Paypal account. My initial email advised me it would take 2 days. It doesn't take 2 days to apply payment. I earned $50 of that total from an outside survey provider that personally informed me they applied it to my SJ account. I've yet to receive any of the $61.34 of MY MONEY. They keep telling me today, today, just blowing me off. I want the money I'm owed. I'm done being lied to. This company clearly lacks integrity and honesty. I've attached all the emails stating I'd receive my rewards. This happened last year with only $25. Stop the lies and pay me what the survey provider already paid you for.Business response

That being said, our records indicate the member has been properly paid out in the amount of $61.37 via PayPal on 5/6/24 at 4:38pm PST. Similarly, our records also indicate all PayPal payments between 1/1/22 to 5/17/24 have been successfully processed and paid out to the requested PayPal account.
The member can login to their PayPal account *************************** in order to see these transactions. Please note that once a transaction has been completed, Survey Junkie no longer has access to these claimed rewards. It is recommended that the member contact PayPal support directly if they require additional assistance in retrieving their funds.Initial Complaint

I have been doing several survey with Survey Junkie and I have been cheated of my time and compensation. I have made several complaints to their customers department advising them about the time being incorrect. They say for example 5min and the survey are over 20 minutes. I also advised them that after me completing the survey it say error and I dont receive the compensation stated . They are taking advantage of people doing there surveys and they are not paying what they falsely state. This company is a false advertisement and only cheat you off there Service and time.Business response

However, to reward members for their time and effort we award 2 or 3 points for every disqualification. According to our records, the member has opted out of the sale of their personal information and is currently on our 'Do Not Sell' list. In order to participate in surveys on Survey Junkie, members must provide prior consent to sell their personal information. I never got paid for completing surveys for Survey Junkie I wanted to redeem my points and I have reached out to them many times about not receiving my money also I have shown proof of my ID front and back twice live plus took a selfie twice live, now that's something I have never done is put out my identification card online and yes I'm still nervous about doing that, I have reached out to them at least about 10 times still the problem has not been resolved I wasted all my time doing the surveys I deserve my money, I am reaching out to BBB so you can resolve this issue I want to know is Survey Junkie a legitimate company.Business response

I have been taking surveys with survey junkie for two years. Without a warning they changed the whole layout and now want a drivers license uploaded to redeem points. I have contacted them multiple times to redeem my points for a gift card. I explained that I don't want o become a victim of identity theft due to sharing my drivers license. I have always been verified by my cell number. So please address accordingly and let me redeem my points since I earned them rightfully and honestly.Business response

In an effort to enhance security and act as an additional quality and verification tool, members that have not previously bypassed Photo ID verification may be asked to complete this step before redemption.
We would like to emphasize once more that this is a one-time verification check members will not have to repeat over the lifetime of their account. In addition, members may opt out at any time and request an alternative verification method. Our records indicate that we attempted to contact the member on 4/18/24 and were unfortunately,unable to get in touch. I have been doing survey junkie for over a year and two days ago. I tried to cash in 500 points for five dollars gift card to Amazon. It usually works and I can earn something for doing the surveys that I enjoy doing to help them.Two days ago, I did the verification to cash in my points and I checked my profile and my account and everything was in gibberish -all my points for the past year and for the previous year were not there and my email address was gibberish on my profile. I have had no luck trying to email them with this complaint. I tried to do a chat with them. I tried to call them and I kept getting bounced off. Apparently maybe their site was hacked, but I have lost everything that *** worked on for over a year, I have earned some money through Amazon, which Im very happy about and I would like to continue doing these surveys, but not if Im going to have such trouble from now on.Business response

Our records indicate that the member had multiple accounts which is against our Terms. We have deactivated their other account and left their main account, active. We recommend them to refrain from creating duplicate accounts as this is against our Terms and will result in permanent account suspension. Survey Junkie is a safe and secure website, trusted by millions of members who take surveys and redeem on a daily basis. That being said, the member created a duplicate Survey Junkie account using the "Hide my Email" feature on their Apple account. According to our records, a duplicate account was created using the email address *********************************** and 75 points from the sign up bonus (25) and general profile (50) were awarded. Members can find their private Apple ID by navigating to Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Hide My Email.
In order to access Survey Junkie, members must choose to login or sign up. Please note that logging in will automatically redirect members to their homepage, whereas signing up will result in 5 profile questions to create an account. The last steps requires new members to add their first/last name and create a password. Since then, the member has been able to continue taking surveys and redeem on their active account.Customer response
