    They do not honor they're warranty if not bought directly from them. I bought on ****** and they don't want to help me. Just waisted my time.

    The cameras are unreliable. All five wireless cameras stopped connecting after three years. I contacted the company for support, but received nothing but daily unhelpful emails. Ill be switching to another brand that offers in-home technical support, as the repeated issues across multiple cameras indicate this is not a coincidence.

    If I could give them a negative rating , I would. I told them I needed footage for a particular date. They told me that since I wasnt paying for a subscription then they could only go back 90 days. Mind you , it used to go back 365 days for free. They said that since I did not have the subscription, then they could not go back. I needed it for a police report and they refused. We all know NOTHING is ever really deleted.

    Thank you for sharing your feedback. Here at Ring, we understand the important to have access to your video recordings. While Ring doorbell and security camera do not need a plan to use. Without a Ring Home Plan, it provides live video viewing and notifications. Video history storage is a feature of the paid Ring Home Subscription plans that stores videos from 1 to 180 days with the paid plan. For the security and privacy of our neighbors, we do not store videos once they have been deleted or past the storage retention plan that is available on paid subscriptions. If there is no Ring Home Plan subscription, no videos are stored.     Would give negative stars if possible. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. The cameras are great BUT The professional monitoring is NON EXSISTANT. I paid for monitoring for 2 years and found out today THEY NEVER UPDATED MY NEW ADDRESS 1700 MILES AWAY. My alarm triggered early morning and NO SERVICES only a recorded call. I guess we were lucky it was a false alarm or my entire family could be DEAD. JUST DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME CALL SIMPLY SAFE

    Ring is convenient security at its best. All required to access and control an entire Ring Security System is a cell phone. And, the phone doesn't even have to be yours. Ring will confirm without a shadow of a doubt that you are the owner of that phone and thereby the system - by sending you a text code. This security company starts with a flaw in security which is what Ring is all about. If Ring was one hundred percent certain there was not one dishonest person on the face of this planet, it wouldn't be a flaw in security. The convenience of being able to view and control one's home from afar, or for that matter possibly anyone else doing so, is indeed convenient. Ring devices integrate easily with ***** and ****** makes it almost instantaneous to do so. It's a user friendly system regardless of who is using it. Ring should not be used as a stand alone security system, even with paid professional monitoring. If one has something worthwhile to be protecting then a more well rounded and secure security company/system should be in place along with Ring. Either that or **** Ring altogether and go right for the more well rounded and secure system. Depends on what your while is worth.

    So we have been a ring customer for probably around 7-8 years and have upgraded our plan also added more cameras to our home. We pay for a plan with ring every single month to help give our family just a little bit more sense of safety at home when we are and are not at home. Today I found out that there has been a breach in the RING company and that we have been one of the many that have been compromised. Our camera for months has been having different phones, computers, and other devices has been logged on to our account! I have had my camera logged into as I am sitting on my porch and being watched which means my children have been watched and we don't know who these sick people are! So tonight I reached out to RING to find out why we as customers have not been contacted or let know what is going on! First rep told me I was just paranoid and hung up on me and the second rep that I called back and spoke to told me that they have not said anything about this breach because the investigation was still ongoing and at this time there is nothing to report!!! Are you kidding me!!! So its going to take someone being hurt or something to get your companies attention? He then told me I would be added to a list as part of the investigation and we will receive an email in ***** hrs!! This is absolutely sickening they could careless about our safety all they are looking for is how to make another dollar! What else can they sell you or would you like to upgrade your plan for better security!! I mean honestly what is the point of having a camera what is the point of selling your customers a bunch of lies and false hope!! We are just money signs to this company and nothing will ever be done because its been going on since MAY ******* and still nothing from ring has come out to warn their customers to take precaution!! Check your devices everyone we had several that we never heard of and call in maybe if enough of us call they will take it serious!! STAY SAFE

    Rings customer service tried to send a replacement camera covered under rings warranty but could not get my address right after 3 attempts. Now ring is constantly sending emails asking for the defective camera to be sent back. I never recieved the replacement. I tried for days to resolve this before I gave up. I wish more companies would base their customer service out of ***************** so that the majority of their customers could effectively communicate with customer service. Now I'm sitting here with a broken camera

    Ring video cameras in their customer service division are awful. The customer service does not care about his consumers, say they will respond and do not, I believe this also, but I dont want to have to pay to replace cameras that are not working. They have continually said my cameras were messed up for my poor Internet connection. The *** has been changed and still be issues persist. There has been no response about a troubleshooting issue that has been done more than 72 hours ago. Seems to be that the customer service complaints that everybody says about ring, and their lack of customer support is true. its almost better to go with a local company and get away from the security video cameras because they truly dont care about their consumers. I have been having a persistent issue since February of this year and they have continue to ignore it. Im pretty sure not to have to replace the cameras. I pay for a package to be able to store camera footage and again you get the money but you dont care about your consumers. Im joining a long list of others with a review on a complaint regarding ring. Ring/****** needs to fix this issue with your poor customer service support. And not just continue to take consumers money.

    I have three ring cameras. I have to keep replacing the one I have located in the bedroom because it continues to stop working. This makes no sense. They have sent me replacements each time. However, they keep leaving off my apartment number when sending the replacements, which causes them to be returned to sender. Each time I have repeated my complete address to the representative, including the apartment number, and have had the representative repeat it back to me because they keep leaving it off the replacement package. I'm not sure what is causing them to not enter my apartment number, but this is a big inconvenience to me because I have to keep calling them back to have it redelivered. Either the representatives are incompetent or there is something wrong with their computer systems.

    I purchased a Whole Home Enhanced Kit from ************************** because they promised a free installation with my purchase. I never received an email with the security code. After 3 or 4 (!!) chats with their customer service team I was finally able to receive a code to use with ******. This code DOES NOT WORK and Ring and ****** have not been willing to fix their issue. After multiple phone calls with the ****** team I still have not received any help from them either. I feel like I have just been scammed out of my time and money from 2 companies who have no intention of providing the service they promised. Not to mention that ****** only has the option for "Premium Appointments" which cost $20. Even if you go out months or years there are no normal appointments so as far as I can tell the promise of a free install was a sham from the start even if the code would have worked.
