I bought a 2021 *** *** less than ****** miles later, the transmission started leaking. *** decided they wanted to replace transmission with new one so they could inspect mine, I said ok, got the receipt after replacement and they put a remanufactured transmission in it, I am not pleased that they didnt tell me that or that they put a used part in my new car. Plus, the transmission only has a 12 month warranty when the car still has its full warranty leftInitial Complaint

On Oct 12th my moms *** **** lost power made a load noise and died. Just barely over 100k miles. Oct 13th I received a letter stating product improvement campaign second letter. The first notification was sent out in April, my mom was diagnosed with brain cancer that had affected her ability to think among other things. Called the dealer to see if they would fix the engine and it would have been yes if she would have had the Knock Sensor Detection installed. Due to health problems she was not able to get it installed. I filed a complaint with *** and was told to take it to dealer and have it diagnosed on my own dime but most likely they would not have good will because the maintenance was not done at a *** *********** Maintenance as in Oil Changes etc. *** is aware that they have a Engine problem!! That is why they want the software update to let them know the engine is failing before catastrophic engine damage. Do not buy ***!!!Initial Complaint

9/2021 purchased *** ******** sx prestige $50,000 since April I worked with ********** ** location to find one they hadnt gotten any in in September I open the search found one ********* ********** ******* *** ****** Paid **** ordered the vehicle arrived oct 12 did not have any temporary plates never received temporary plates I contacted DMV they said they had not received the paperwork for plates *** had 30 days they never submitted the paperwork they never sent me temporary plates I have a $50,000 vehicles cant drive I reached Out to ******* company and they wouldnt help me said I had to speak to the sales lady she wasnt in the office and would contact me when she got in she didnt I contacted the *** ***** told me not to stress about it rude, no apology, I texted the ************** to see if they could help if they could help me hook up the features they wouldnt help because I didnt purchase it through them but its still *** neither company is helping me.Initial Complaint

On September 2, 2021 my engine in my car went out. I had it towed to the ********** I bought the car from, they insisted that I contact *** due to their engines had an extended warranty on them. I called *** ******** affairs and woman told me I was supposed to call them and register my car with them in order for me to receive a recall notice from them. I later had my car towed to a *** ********** to see if they could help me. They basically telling me the same thing. The recall on the knock sensor for my car came out in February of 2018, the problem is I purchased the car in September of 2020 and I never received a recall notice. Due to that Im not the original owner of the car Im the third owner. And theyre still telling me sorry that I would have to pay out of pocket to have the engine repaired.Initial Complaint

On 9/7 I paid a what turned out to be an extra month on my lease of a *** ******** for October. I was waiting for a new car to lease and due to the pandemic it was delayed and I was not sure when it would arrive. It was available for me to pick up on 9/10 and I made a lease payment for the new car then. I asked the dealership about my overpayment and they said to contact *** ******** *** told me that once they had taken repossession of the car a check would be sent to me for the overpayment. In the mean time dealer bought the car from *** based on the price that was based on an amount that included my payment. Now *** says tat the deal is done and I cannot be reimbursed unless the dealer chooses to. They said I should have known that this might happen. The dealership is not involved in my lease payment. *********************** towed my vehicle to ********************************************* on Shade land in Shade land in ************ on Tuesday, October 12th because it wouldn't start. All day Wednesday I never heard from the dealer. When I called, I was told that they didn't have my vehicle. I was finally connected to the service manager, Jan who was able to locate my vehicle and told me to call Thursday, October 14th. Upon calling, I was told by **** that Kia ****** have my key and to call Kia ********* ****** at Roadside tells me there's no record of my service in their system.Initial Complaint

Run around by the business, no one has any answers, hung up on with no callbacks. I am can not even get callbacks via their automated system. Their menu options are deceiving. They will not even take a complaint nor even have records that I have called numerous times. I've been getting various forms of the runaround since October 2020.This goes for Motor Finance as well.Initial Complaint

*** sold me a brand new 2021 *** ****** in December 2020. Newer *** SUVs are extremely easy to steal and thefts have exploded in ********* (see news story here: https://www.wisn.com/article/thefts-of-kia-hyundai-explode-2500-in-*********/36756668#). *** knows about this problem but are doing nothing to fix it, other than offering a free steering wheel lock (again showing that they know about the issue).My car was locked in my driveway and stolen on 9/23 while I was home. No alarm goes off, they remove a panel covering the transmission, put in a flash drive or a s**** driver, start up the car and drive off in 20 seconds.*** makes a terrible car, is not doing anything to fix it, and has caused significant financial damage to myself and thousands of others.Initial Complaint

On September 28, 2021 we found out the hard way that our family's minivan (2016 *** ******* gear shift could be moved from the parking position to reverse, neutral and forward without having the car turned on and without needing to have a foot pressed on the break. My three year old got his hands on the shifter and without much effort was able to move the shifter from parked to reverse and our car rolled down the driveway with two of my children in the car. The vehicle ended up on the street where there was incoming traffic. If it weren't because the car hit the fence, other cars would probably not have stopped and it could have been a worse incident. I've reported incident to *** on 9/29/21. To date 10/14/21 we have yet to get a resolution from *** and address this incident. They assigned a representative who has yet to provide any concrete guidance and support. My car is not road safe to drive and now I'm left without a family car and traumatized children from this event.Initial Complaint

We bought our *** in March 2021 as a slightly used(3,000miles) vehicle. We expected license plates in a relatively short amount of time, however we still have not. We bought the vehicle at the ******** ** Lia ********** and have been in constant attempts to get regular (not temporary) plates for it. They have told us that there is an issue with the Hundai dealer THEY BOUGHT the car from, and they still have not been able to rectify issue. So apparently we are paying for a vehicle that has title issues and we are not happy about it. We are going on the third paper temporary plate which will expire in Nov., and still no word from ******** *** on status!
