On 08/16/2022, I received a letter from Symple Lending LLC of a letter of preapproval for an unsecured loan for ****** and to contact them now. The letter in design looked like a letter you receive for federal purposes. I decided to follow through and call them. I spoke with ***************** ***************************************** ************) in which he advised me that I was prequalified through his system for ******. I told him if he was sure if I was prequalified and he lured me into believing I was prequalified, and that he will do a soft credit check. After giving out alot of Personal Identifiable Information (PII), to include how much I spend on gas, food, and other personal details to include my move to Virginia- he advised me that he worked with 20 lenders in house and he would process my application and it should take anywhere between 2-3 minutes with the underwriters. After a quick 2 minutes, he advised me I could not qualify for a traditional unsecured loan, because of the high credit utilization, and redirected me to a "law firm" (debt consolidation company) in which I can pay them 500 dollars a month with 0 % APR. Many organizations do this to sell personal information to predatorial loan companies, to ruin people credits. I just want too make sure my PII is safe and not sold to any companies, and ensure that I am permanently off their distribution list. Lastly, many organizations claims to give out unsecured loans, but after searching through the internet, I saw no definitive answer of this organization giving out personal loans. They should seize with the false advertisements, and not waste individuals times with pushy sales in order you to get involved with a debt consolidation company and ruin your credit even more.

The mailer that the prospect responded to and provided, has a disclaimer advising that information would be gathered from the prospect to determine program eligibility.
The mailer stated that the offer is conditional and that we would be confirming eligibility. It further informed the prospect that this offer is not guaranteed if our criteria is not met.
The customer completed an application and his information was processed through underwriting. Unfortunately, we were unable to secure a loan for the customer.
As a responsible lender, we must adhere to strict Federal and State guidelines and all of the prospect's information is highly confidential.
Additionally, Our VP of ******************** reached out to the prospect personally and resolved all his concerns. We wish him well in the future.
