I applied with them, and ended up getting a loan from my credit union. Reps from this company keep calling several times a day, everyday, for the past 2 months. *** asked them nicely more than ********************************************************************************* their service. They constantly call, every couple of hours, every single day. Its been 2 months and I feel like this should be addressed because harassing someone after you have been asked not to call is not acceptable. I have blocked several numbers they call from and I still keep getting calls. This is harassment and really needs to stop. Ive attached my call log from just the past two days. Multiple calls from them, sometimes back to back, or every couple of hours.Business Response

Credit9 has been calling my phone 3-4 times daily via automated/robo calls from multiple numbers. I have never been affiliated with this business nor do I have a customer relationship with **********************. My number is also registered with the national do not call registry. I have made several attempts to have my phone number removed from Credit9s database, but I continue to receive 3-4 calls per day.Business Response

I personally have never been an account holder or customer of ********/**********************; therefore, the firms response is without merit. The response submitted by ********/Credit9 is a misrepresentation to the BBB. This situation has been reported to both ********** and Washington Offices of the Attorney General as well as the ********************************** ********/Credit9s efforts to pursue contact with me in an ****** aggressive manner constitute criminal harassment and the firms intentions appear fraudulent in nature. ********/Credit9s actions violate applicable Telephone Consumer Protection Act legislation. To clarify, your telephone number was received through an online lead portal and was associated with an inquiry that was not in your name. It is possible that the telephone number provided was active for that individual at the time of their recent inquiry (December 2022) and was later changed and the telephone number ported to yourself. As indicated in our prior communication, we have adjusted our records and have placed the number you provided on our internal Do Not Contact lists. For the last week, four times a day, Credit9 have been spamming my cell number with both robocalls and robotexts. I've blocked their number but it keeps changing. I've reported them using my provider's scam-reporting system. I didn't ask for their calls. I've never done business with them.Business Response

In January 2020, I joined Americor's debt settlement program. I made all payments on time and was due to have my program completed around January 2023. On October 27, 2022 Credit 9, who is in conjunction with Americor offered to pay off my remaining debt with a loan. They said I had to add two cards in good standing to meet the threshold of the loan. The loan amount offered was $2813 to be paid over 24 months. I only had one card left to settle, and **************** and I added two additional (credit One and ************ that were in good standing. Credit 9, from that point, has done a bait and switch. They dragged their feet on a final settlement on the ****************. They sent me a loan document for *************************************************************** the initial email. Since the end of October, I have had three different representatives, and they have collected money from me for a loan that does not exist. I have had 4 -5 different loan papers, each with something different than what was initially offered. Credit 9 said I had to add another card to make the loan work.Their business practices are boarding on illegal and should be investigated.Business Response

******************, we regret your dissatisfaction and frustration you experienced with your loan application process. As part of the ******** debt settlement program that you were enrolled in, you became eligible for a potential debt consolidation loan with the affiliated company, Credit9. You indicate you received a loan offer via email form a Credit9 representative on October 27. This communication of loan offer indicated your eligibility and that the offer was an estimate, where a final loan amount would be determined by remaining balances due on your existing credit card debt you wanted to consolidate.
Our records indicate you were approved for a Credit9 debt consolidation loan and during the documentation process you were asked to complete multiple revisions of loan documents.Although we understand the frustration and uncertainty this may have caused, the completion of revised loan documents was necessary to ensure accurate loan disclosures. Credit9 did approve and provide a final copy of loan documents for you to complete, but records indicate you declined to accept the offer and cancelled your existing enrollment in the Americor Debt Settlement program. We do not show a loan was consummated and no loan payments were received. Again,we apologize for the experience you encountered, and believe no inappropriate activities took place as you suggest. If you wish to reconsider obtaining a debt consolidation loan, Credit9 would again welcome your new application.Initial Complaint

I want to first off state that I have never contacted this company nor have I ever requested to be contacted by this company. For the past few months I have received multiple calls a week and sometimes even multiple in a day. They call and ask for someone I do not know and request every time to be put on a the do not call list. Employees are also very rude, some hang up before I can even state to place me on a do not call list.Business Response
