For the last week, four times a day, Credit9 have been spamming my cell number with both robocalls and robotexts. I've blocked their number but it keeps changing. I've reported them using my provider's scam-reporting system. I didn't ask for their calls. I've never done business with them.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. The extra phone number they need to add to their DO NOT CALL list would be ************.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

In January 2020, I joined Americor's debt settlement program. I made all payments on time and was due to have my program completed around January 2023. On October 27, 2022 Credit 9, who is in conjunction with Americor offered to pay off my remaining debt with a loan. They said I had to add two cards in good standing to meet the threshold of the loan. The loan amount offered was $2813 to be paid over 24 months. I only had one card left to settle, and **************** and I added two additional (credit One and ************ that were in good standing. Credit 9, from that point, has done a bait and switch. They dragged their feet on a final settlement on the ****************. They sent me a loan document for *************************************************************** the initial email. Since the end of October, I have had three different representatives, and they have collected money from me for a loan that does not exist. I have had 4 -5 different loan papers, each with something different than what was initially offered. Credit 9 said I had to add another card to make the loan work.Their business practices are boarding on illegal and should be investigated.

******************, we regret your dissatisfaction and frustration you experienced with your loan application process.  As part of the ******** debt settlement program that you were enrolled in, you became eligible for a potential debt consolidation loan with the affiliated company, Credit9. You indicate you received a loan offer via email form a Credit9 representative on October 27. This communication of loan offer indicated your eligibility and that the offer was an estimate, where a final loan amount would be determined by remaining balances due on your existing credit card debt you wanted to consolidate.
Our records indicate you were approved for a Credit9 debt consolidation loan and during the documentation process you were asked to complete multiple revisions of loan documents.Although we understand the frustration and uncertainty this may have caused, the completion of revised loan documents was necessary to ensure accurate loan disclosures. Credit9 did approve and provide a final copy of loan documents for you to complete, but records indicate you declined to accept the offer and cancelled your existing enrollment in the Americor Debt Settlement program. We do not show a loan was consummated and no loan payments were received. Again,we apologize for the experience you encountered, and believe no inappropriate activities took place as you suggest. If you wish to reconsider obtaining a debt consolidation loan, Credit9 would again welcome your new application.

I want to first off state that I have never contacted this company nor have I ever requested to be contacted by this company. For the past few months I have received multiple calls a week and sometimes even multiple in a day. They call and ask for someone I do not know and request every time to be put on a the do not call list. Employees are also very rude, some hang up before I can even state to place me on a do not call list.

I received a call from Credit 9 in response to a inquiry I supposedly made. I have not inquired anything from anyone for any type of lending. This is a terrible sales practice and is misleading and confusing to the public. I am a banker and know to watch for scammer calls and misleading calls. Knowing I had not requested such information I informed the representative as such and asked not to be contacted. This number has appeared many times on my phone and I have never picked up until today. This is harassment and predatory as credit 9 is hoping to get someone to listen long enough to their sales pitch. I am highly concerned as to how they got my information since I always opt-out of all marketing and third party marketing with who ever I engage in business with. They are hoping to find someone who will listen long enough for them to get their information.

I began in Mar22 with Americor for credit resolution. 1st you never work with the same person x2, every step you get someone new. In the first couple of months , 1 settlement made then nothing for 6 months or so. One day I get a message about getting a loan from Credit9 so all debts can be settled at once & I can start rebuilding credit. Was sent initial doc with a loan amount. I had ?s like how do you know how much a loan to give me if you havent made any settlements. Oh these are just the initial numbers we get the final ones when the settlements are agreed on. Then I start getting emails from my creditors that they settled. Um news to me. Then one day get a notice to sign a doc that says americor didnt settle 2 accounts but they will work on it as soon as the loan goes through. They budgeted the anticipated amount in the loan but if it is more, I will owe that. So I email and text asking how/when might this extra come due, do I pay americor, credit 9, loan refinanced, come out of my pocket that has no money in it, and wouldnt it be nice to put me on the hook for potentially hundreds or thousands by telling me to sign. No one would reply in a text or email to me (ie they dont want to put anything in writing!) & I dont have tons of time to be making phone calls, I work. They start pushing the time/deadline but wont answer questions. Finally got a chance to call & get answers that will have to do but still not guaranteed in writing so I have to believe when **** TELLS me that the settlement predicted should be close & I shouldnt have to owe anything (they are good at what they do is what ** told). Shortly after signing the doc about 2 accounts not settled, I get final loan docs but I had talked with *** wanting to extend payments out to lower the original guesstimate since they already jacked up my ************** I also wanted to keep same due date. I get notice that docs were voided bc of change but no notice to sign new ones sometimes. Latest is wrong!

Dear ****************. We regret you dissatisfaction with the lack of communication you indicate occurred with both the ******** debt settlement experience and the Credit9 loan application process. The customer service you received is not indicative of the customer service that we at ********************** strive to provide. Records indicate the terms of your loan were not entirely to your satisfaction, with respect to the payment amount and payment date. With respect to these items, we do indicate consideration was made in extending your loan term to reduce your monthly payment. Please understand not all loan requests with respect to term, payment amount and date can be accommodated as your loan terms were made to fit within our program guidelines.  If the payment date established at loan consummation is not convenient, it is possible to change your payment due date.  Please contact our customer service at the telephone numbers indicate in your loan documentation to make a payment due date change request. We do appreciate your understanding in this matter and your continued patronage.

From the beginning of doing the debt consolidation loan with this company it has been nothing but sketchiness! I recently requested to have my bank account info. change, and it was done so with no problem. However, I was e-mailed shortly after my phone conversation by the rep ************************* that I the acct changes, had missed the *** draw cut-off time. I've worked in banking for over 15 years, but I digress. Well the payment got returned as insufficient funds. Now keep in mind that I was told by ***** that my payment date was going to be pushed to the 27th, my original scheduled date was scheduled on a Sunday the 25th. So I attempt to call and get a resolution to the error and this company will not take accountability! I even spoke with a manager who even chuckled at my frustration of them causing this payment error. The website does not have payment options and the *** page has not been updated. I am appalled that they are stating the payment came back as insufficient funds, when the previous account that was attached still has the funds in it. I can't wait to be done with this company! The representatives over the phone are not helpful an are always condescending. This Company Credit 9 (********) or whatever secretive name they are under has plenty of deceptive practices.

Original Loan application through credit 9 , from ********, June 13, 2022. I was in contact with ************************* a Credit9 loan processor. On June 28 I submitted all the necessary loan documents via email.June 30 documents approved and signed. This was a loan to pay off creditors, was referred to as a line of credit. We had a phone conversation, ***** and I, and I explained to her that I felt I was being mislead that I was under the impression that I was being issued a line of credit so I would have some money left to go see my grandchildren. We discussed this further and she told me that we could do this through a separate loan which was, doable. I tried to follow up and my emails were returned undeliverable. I followed up again July 26th and learned she wasnt there anymore. I emailed ***************************, asking for a follow up with my personal loan request. Nobody followed up with me.Today, ****, I spoke with *************************, a customer service rep from **********************, I was concerned with how my dispersement was going because some had not yet shown in my credit report. She was very helpful and sent me documentation. I followed up with her regarding my personal loan request I made through *****. she explained that nothing showed from my original line of credit loan used to pay off my debt consolidation. I explained further the conversation I had and suggested that the conversation would have been recorded on their end. She looked into it but said she couldnt assist me but felt, from what I told her that I had been mislead. Im disappointed that I was mislead into believing I could get a personal loan for ***** and now there isnt even a record of my asking. I thought ******* was very helpful and did all she could but somewhere along the line no follow up was done with me and I wonder how many other people were left hanging when ***** left. All I wanted was enough money loan so I can visit my grandchildren I havent even seen the baby yet. Sad.

A review of the customers account was conducted and although the customers desire to obtain an additional $2,000 was noted, we could find no conversation with the customer and representative that indicated he would be receiving such a loan.  The Debt Settlement financing program requires all funds to be used for settlement pay-offs and strictly prohibits any funds being disbursed directly to the borrower. We do not offer cash advance personal loans. We apologize for any misinformation that *** have taken place.

it is my understanding that calls are recorded, with that being said, I find it odd they are unable to find my recorded conversation with representative *****. Obviously I would never had followed up with this complaint had I not been told that this personal loan was doable. I was obviously mislead and want it recorded as such. I was never told they couldnt issue a personal loan or I never would have proceeded. I want other potential customers to be aware of language they use as misleading. Example Line if credit. And why would a representative, who is no longer there, as it was.

We inquired about a personal loan and then decided that Credit9 was not the right fit for our situation and we were asked to be removed from their database. Since then we have received at least three or four calls stating that I inquired with the company about a loan and each time I have told them that we decided to go in a different direction and that we want to be removed from there database. It appears that Credit9 and their employees do not understand what "please remove me from your database" means.

They send out a letter by mail that you are prequalified for a debit counseling loan and all it is is a bait to try and get you to do a program that they are going to settle all your debt. They never intended to help you Consolidate they just want to set you up on a program to let you get behind on what you owe and they will settle. This is False advertisement I never intend to help you get a lower rate and give you alone to help you get is it

I keep getting unwanted calls from this company after repeated requests to be taking off of their call list. Each time when I ask why they are calling me I get the exact same answer which is I requested information from them which is a complete lie. They continue to call from different numbers which is sketchy to say the least. I have contacted the company and requested to be taking off of their call list with no satisfaction. These calls are annoying and not appreciated. I would never do with business with this company due to the way they handle their outbound calling.
