Confirmed loan amount 10 day payoff and had my credit union send a check. A few days later Credit 9 took a payment of $397 and some change which was already calculated in the 10 day payoff amount they provided for us to give to our credit union. Now they won't reverse the auto pay to return our $397. They claim it was not part of the 10 day payoff which is clearly a lie.Business Response

signed up with Americor in September of ********************************************************************************************************** as a single mother of 4 I was desperate to find a way to better my situation, they told me I would be cleared of my debt in approximately 48 months **** I fell for it and stopped paying my cards and began paying the company $380.13 per month my credit dropped down to ***************************************************************************** the 700s after 11 months they said I qualified for their line of credit to get rid of all debts at once and finally enhance my credit back where it should be. Their partner company Credit9 then took over, they sent me details for my line of credit which was astronomical. The interest rate was as high as my credit cards and after a year of paying the loan amount itself was almost as high as original debt plus the interest rate put me in a worse position than I was to begin with and the loan terms are 5 more years. I initially refused to sign but ******** said I was no longer their client and I could no longer access my account with them, ********************** said that I did not have any other option and this was the best they could do, they said after 3 months all debts would be paid and my credit score would increase by atleast 100 points and into 700s I could then refinance the loan with a much better rate but that never happened. They mislead me every step of the way, they lied to convince me to sign their paperwork and took full advantage of my struggles and completely ruined my credit. My monthly payments $425.51 and only $9-$46 actually goes towards the principal each month. When I tried to get them to lower the payment and readjust the interest rate as promised they refused to do any of it.Business Response

Ms. ******************************
We acknowledge your dissatisfaction with your experience involving your Americor and credit9 loan. Our investigation reveals that you were duly informed about the terms of your credit9 loan, including the discussion and agreement on the interest rate, and all disclosures were provided and accepted by you.
Additionally, subsequent to the loan origination, you were informed about the option of a loan modification by a credit9 customer service agent, although no further action was taken on this matter. We regret any difficulties you may have encountered. However, our findings indicate that both your Americor Debt Settlement program and the credit9 loan origination process were conducted appropriately, without any undue pressure.
It is noted that you have ceased making payments on your credit9 loan, resulting in it being in a charge off status. Should you wish to resolve the outstanding balance, please reach out to the credit9 customer service team.Initial Complaint

This company does not stop calling, claiming that they have an application from me, which I have stated to them on multiple occasions that I did not fill out. They continue to call me non stop, regardless of how many times I tell them to not call me. The calls are borderline harassment, today alone they left 3 voicemails and I have 5 missed calls from them.Business Response

Americor/ Credit 9 are worked to scam more money out of me. I had less that 1000 dollars left on a plan that was seemingly working thru Americor. Then Credit 9 pressured me into taking their loan, saying I had to in order to be ome lendable again. Theysaid that my payments would come out on payday just like Americor. That was all lies. They have repeatedly overdrawn my accounts on days I don't get paid and then say that they can't help me because my account is behind. Then they keep charging me interest making my loan go higher and higher no matter how much I pay. I should have just paid the ****************************************************************** After all the fees I already paid, I am done paying these people.Business Response

**************,
We regret you are dissatisfied with the service you received from credit9. Our review of your account indicates at the time of review and completion of the credit9 loan option there were three debts in the amount of $7,593.28 remaining to be settled from the proceeds of the credit9 loan. It is our understanding you wanted and confirmed to include a debt from *******, in the estimated amount of $4,415.00, to avoid further court action. The itemization of all amounts to be paid and included in your credit9 loan are detailed within Schedule A of your loan documents. Our review did not indicate any undue pressure was made during your loan origination. With respect to the claim of repeatedly overdraft your account, we indicate your account was setup on a recurring ACH (automatic withdrawal)bi-weekly payment schedule. A review of all payments indicates they were drafted correctly; however, payments scheduled for 5/7/24, 6/18/24, and 7/2/24 were returned due to insufficient funds. Please understand that any missed payments will create a situation where the accrued interest will accumulate during any period of missed payments and will be due on your next made payment, therefore, creating a situation where more of your payments goes towards the payment of interest. We will make an accommodation to assist you with your payment schedule, please contact our customer service team if you want to make a due date change.Initial Complaint

This company calls me several times a day. Even when I have told them numerous times I am not interested and to remove me from their calling list, they will round about go back to their original of "You filled out an application for more information and we are calling you about it". For the record, I have never once applied for any sort of loan application. I just spent the last *********************************************************************** but they refuse! You can't block their number, as they are calling on numerous ones. This is borderline harassment and they will not stop.Business Response

We sent a check to pay off our balance and the check that was sent from our mortgage account was $24,267.09, which was credited to our account on 7/10/24. The last statement that I recieved on 7/2/2024 showed we had a balance of $23, ******. When I called to question about the overpayment they told me that it was the exact amount that we owed. They tried telling me that there was interest added to the balance. I then questioned how there could be that much interest and that it didn't sound right to me. The representative then hung up on me. I find the whole thing to be very questionable and I don't want to see them do this to anyone else.Business Response
