My husband was paying 5-6 dollars monthly just to HAVE an account. They said there was no investments. After many many months, we got .97 cents back as interest on nothing!Very misleading, especially for an older person. Why would anyone pay that much for access to an account with nothing in it?!?They should be made to pay it back. Fraudulent behavior.

I joined the referral program. I have been trying now for a week to have them fix my link for the referral program. It is not complete and I have been calling for a week now to get it fixed. They give me turn times of one to two days and then nothing happens. Today I get an email saying they tried it and it works. How can it work when it is not complete and nothing happens. If it works for them on their end well good for them. I need it to work on my end. Wow is all I can say - I have called now probably 10 times and each time get the run around and yet it is still not fixed.

This was a horrible experience. All that happened was unexpected charges and a tremendous lose of income. If you want to invest, just open an ****** account. If you want to save, just use your banks saving account options.Fingers crossed for a class action lawsuit in the future that shuts them down.

I just started the process of buying a house, i have kept money this account for savings and suddenly when I want to pull the money out there is a "glitch" that they cannot figure out why I cannot pull money from my account. I have gotten the run around for 4 days and keep being told the same thing every day that someone will contact me to approve the transaction, and I've called everyday

I invested with them initially based on recommendation from a friend. When I realized all I was doing was losing money and their investment strategies are poor I removed my money and cancelled my investments. Their website is not user friendly and I didn't realize I didn't cancel my "subscription" so I kept getting charged $3/month. When you log into the website it shows that there is no banking account setup so it's misleading. You have to find subscriptions IN ADDITION to cancelling your membership to stop the money from being pulled from your account. I called them today to find out what was going on and while they did cancel the membership they refused to refund me the $6 (2 months of $3/month). I WANT MY MONEY BACK. The fact that they fail to refund a measly $6 is a huge statement of how corrupt their business is.

A great concept for saving money but they have terrible customer service. I have used them for years. In the past few months I keep getting fraudulent transactions on my checking account and they refuse to reimburse me, arguing that I placed the charges and wanting me to call the merchant. Beware I don't feel like my money is safe there.TDA

Waste of money, con you into thinking you are investing $5/month but the subscription fee of $5 per month is not clear. In 2.5 years I paid $150 in fees and only earned $20. Don't waste your time. You'll have to communicate with someone who will not properly answer any of your questions. You do not have access to complete information about the fees. This is a con company. The bank would be better at this rate.

I am an intermediate equities investor and an advanced real estate investor. I DO NOT recommend Acorns for the following reasons:- Lack of flexibility in buying/selling ETFs, mutual funds.- **************** reps seem to misunderstand questions, inquiries frequently. *** asked multiple questions and requested multiple actions to be met with irrelevant and redundant responses. I question if they have any type of CRM that enables their customer service to review and provide adequate responses based on past correspondence.- Lack of ownership over mistakes. I initiated a transfer for my Later account to Vanguard. I completed paperwork including obtaining a medallion stamp/signature (which is very hard to obtain nowadays) and Acorns repeatedly stated that the documents did not have the stamp. Vanguard mailed the documents and followed up with Acorns to learn that they lost the documents and would accept a fax image. It took me threatening to report to the SEC to receive any useful response and finally the execution of the transfer. In my experience, any company who requires a threat of report to a regulatory body to execute on their customers requests, when also completed per their policy, is incredibly unethical.- Invest account, I have asked multiple times to consolidate all ETFs in this account to one named ETF and have gotten the complete runaround. More than likely because they know I am transferring out of Acorns and they would rather recoup a $50 fee per ETF vs adhering to their policies and procedures. There are far better, user friendly options in the world of equity investing. Dont be fooled by their gimmicks of ********* or Cash Earned. If they are unable to effectively provide fund exit and withdrawal, none of that matters.

I feel sorry for all of the people that have lost money to acorns. My review is simple as this, I went on an online chat to ask a simple question and they wanted my name, my phone number, my email address, and my birthday. Just for me to ask simple question. No! Is someone asks all that information just for you to ask a simple question I didn't want anything else to do with that company right then and there! IF THEY ASK THOSE QUESTIONS RUN! DON'T DEAL WITH THEM! DELETE IT RIGHT AWAY! CLEAN YOUR PHONE! DO EVERYTHING YOU CAN TO WIPE IT OUT OF YOUR PHONE AS FAST AS YOU CAN! SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM!!
