Emortage in ****************** my new mortgage. They paid off all my debt bills but one. I was sent a chech to pay off ********** $517, at this time ********** had taken out a payment and they refused the check. I now owned $437. Emortage sent me a check for $437. But now ********* would not take the check because it was made out to __the/Cbna_. So I just paid it off from my debit account. Now getting reimbursed from ******** has been unreal. I have been told twice the check will come overnight. I have been told its in the mail twice, neither has been true for over two weeks. My agent is ******* at ************, she wont answer the if she knows who is calling!Business Response

I have an open compliant (********) but unable to reply to it. I wanted to let you know that I have now received 2 more calls after I have told them to Cease and Desist and informed them I am going to record and they stopped talking. Also, as soon as I ask "Who is it", they are quiet and don't say anything. Representatives from this company have called me several times a day for the past week. A particular Representative named ********* has called me a few of those times, but I remember him because he was extremely rude talking over me after I repeatedly asked to be placed on the do not call list for the company. I've asked to speak with a manager & that is when they hang up or pretend to transfer you, then hang up. When you call the numbers back, it goes straight to voicemail. The calls are mostly coming from a 953 area code.Business Response

On 01/29/25 this company called me about a mortgage. I told them I was not interested as I already have a lender. They said they were not trying to sell me a loan and then proceeded to try to sell me a loan. I once again said I am not interested and hung up.All the above would be fine with me if it ended there. Instead they have called 7 times and sent 5 texts in the manner of an hour or so. Apparently no does not mean no to these people. The texts felt pretty aggressive like how could you possibly not be interested.Business Response

This company calls many times a day, sometimes 5 times in half hour. Their practices are very scammer like; they buy information about people applying for mortgages or equity loans and then call and harass them incessantly. They refuse to stop calling, won't give me a Good faith ********* or any of their promises in writing,Business Response

Based on the complaint I am not sure this is the right E Mortgage. We are E Mortgage Capital Inc. there are several companies with the name E Mortgage in their name. Many of our customers appreciate that we reach out to them as we are often able to offer them a better deal. Part of that would be providing a Loan Estimate to earn your business. Our people are trained to earn your business. Based on your complaint though I can see you do not wish to be contacted so I am adding you to our internal do not call list. In April 2024, I worked with a mortgage lender from The ******* Team. The sales agent I interacted with, **** *****, initially presented me with a couple of loan options. However, when I received the loan disclosure, the terms were significantly different and included unexpected fees. Concerned by these surprise costs, I decided to explore other lenders.During this time, I explicitly requested that they delay ordering the appraisal report for a few days while I considered alternative options. Despite my request, they charged me $690 for the appraisal, which I am confident was never performed. After securing a better loan with another lender, I informed them that I would not be moving forward with their services.Unfortunately, the agents response was highly unprofessional. He became uncooperative and reportedly contacted the sellers agent to undermine my credibility, falsely claiming that I lacked the financial stability or creditworthiness to purchase the property.Since then, I have sent several emails, including copies to the divisional manager, *** *******, to request a refund of the $690 appraisal fee. This company somehow received our home data and info and are trying to solicit us for a mortgage. We did not authorize nor ever talk to them. We would never do business with a company that buys consumer info and tries scamming people with. Do not contact us ever again.Business Response
