1 starIf I could give 0 stars I would. I recently bought a new stove on 9/7/24, they delivered it without installing it. It sat in my living room for a day, as I had to wait for the store manager to approve of me opening the box so I could install it myself. The unit lasted 4 days until they digital display went out. The following day I went back to the store, spoke to Manager, which he stated to call the warranty department at *******. A technician came, didn't even inspect it and automatically said it's the chip for the display that's bad, and he was going to order the part and someone would call me to schedule the repair. Another tech came to install the faulty part, and declined to do because he said there was DEAD insects inside. Mind you, I don't have insects in my home this unit has only been in my home for a short time. Whatever was found in there, was there when it was delivered. After multiple attempts to contact the store, a manager or corporate, to either repair or replace what I paid for, the answer they gave me is "you can buy a new one". I just want my money back or repair it. I paid good money and am not able to use the Oven! They are denying any repairs to it and I am frustrated. 1 starDO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM HOWARDS!! DO NOT BUY THE EXTENDED WARRANTY. Its a complete rip off and Howards is complicit. Bought a ******* refrigerator that took a dump after only two years. Called for the warranty and so far it has been 2 weeks since the repair man came out to diagnose the issues. I have called everyday since and have been getting jerked around. The customer ********************** **** are all rude people from a different country with heavy accents that I can hardly understand. Ive been lied to, hung up on, and jerked around. This is the absolute worst service I have ever received. I will never shop at Howards for the duration of my natural life. You would be smart to avoid Howards at all cost as well. TERRIBLE! TERRIBLE! I bought and paid for a Thermador suite of appliances. I was told at the time of purchase that everything was available. The estimated date on the sales order was "as soon as possible". while we received most of the appliances (I had to call several times) after a few months, now 8 months later I'm still waiting for the refrigerator. I since have been told that the model ordered was discontinued. I have been calling weekly, chatting with any number of sales people. Instead of being up front and helping fix the situation, these people have only made it worse. And the only solution I have at the moment is an offer to take a used floor model with a small discount. If this is what Howard's deems excellent customer **********************, then avoid Howard's like the plague. They could have simply said, Thermador has delivery issues. If I had been told that months ago, I could have handled it. If I had been told about the purchased model being discontinued and offered the upcoming model, I could have taken that in stride. But I was strung along with stories, lies, fabrications and false delivery dates that came and went with nothing to show. And also, when I mentioned cancelling the order, I was told my refund will be 10% of the $12,000+ that I paid. So it looks like legal action is my next recourse and filing a complaint with the **** and the California DCA.So if you're reading this, my advice avoid Howard's. We purchased a dishwasher and a Television from Howards in February. Items were delivered as planned a few days later. The person installing the Dishwasher said the pipe from the dishwasher to drain is clogged, He showed us that it was clogged and that he could fix for a $125.00 fee. My husband and I declined his service because we had just ran the dishwasher earlier that day and it worked fine. The man left and my husband took the piping under the sink apart and we found a perfectly folded piece of paper towel rolled up inside the pipe. H*** NO did this get there by accident. We actually looked int the trash and found the other paper towel pieces that he ripped apart. We called very upset by how unlawful this act was. They said they would push it up to management and we have not heard anything from them in weeks. We want our delivery fee back or some sort of financial compensation.Howard's Appliances Inc

We bought a ** dryer at the Howards in ************ on January 29th **** brought it home and I installed it on Tuesday turned it on and made sure the gas was on it didnt heat up at all so we called the store we bought it at and our salesperson said shecwould get us another one and have it shipped to the apples valley store and then she was going to have it brought to our house in ************** ** it was suppose to be delivered on Saturday February 3rd that didnt happen then it was suppose to delivered on Monday the 5th that didnt happen then they promised Tuesday the 6th by 10 am to 2 pm and it snowed that day *** said if it didnt get up here that day they would refund our money we have gotten the run around for 3 weeksHoward's Appliances Inc

1 starI bought a refrigerator in July of 2023. It broke 3 times with the same issue. I've lost two fridges full of food and still haven't gotten my fridge replaced. It has been a month without a fridge and this is the second time I have gone a month without this fridge. This is ridiculous. I bought a cooktop late November. Shortly after there was a recall of the cooktop, prior to me picking it up. The salesperson and I played phone tag for a while then we finally spoke. She was going to check on if she could price match a different cooktop for me that I found cheaper elsewhere so that I could get that one through Howards instead. She told me she would call me back that day. Thats where the communication stopped. I have been calling and leaving messages for this salesperson and she never answers my calls or calls back. When I call the pico ****** warehouse location where we were going to pick it up a very rude man answers (he has been rude and off putting every interaction with him, in person or on the phone) never helps me out, and always defers to the salesperson. I am tired of playing phone tag and just want a refund at this point for a cooktop that I have yet to receive and no longer want.Howard's Appliances Inc

HORRIBLE *************** store. Store#**. Purchased a Frigidaire Microwave Oven Combo. Only one that was made that would fit in my cabinet. The older GE gave up after 24 years! I miss it. My purchase was in Feb of 2023. Wasn't delivered until May of 2023. I have had it less than 6 months!Power failed. Called warranty ***** Service guy came out. He will not repair it because he has to pull it out of cabinet and he doesn't want to. Told me to get someone else. I drove to Howards where I purchased it. Spoke to the salesperson ******* who was the original salesman who I purchase it from. He said he would call me the next day after speaking to his manager. 4 days later NO CALL. I have a $5k oven that does not work, its Thanksgiving, my father in hospice and I cannot cook dinner for my family. No one will help, Howards refuses to help. Awful people!Howard's Appliances Inc

1 starPoor service! I will never buy from this store again, Our Howard's store used to be Midway. I purchased a washer and dryer in 2022. My dryer stopped heating up, I purchased the additional warranty, I called Howard's for service, and after numerous attempts to reach a tech, I finally got someone to come out. They supposedly fixed my dryer, but after they left, I went to use it and it did not work. I called again and they sent an outside tech who stated that the previous tech forgot to change another part. After that fix, my dryer still didn't seem to be getting as hot as it used to get. The outside tech came back again and ran a diagnostic and said that his diagnostic stated that everything is fine and that I should just run my cycles on the time dry of 40 minutes. So, after all that mess, I run my loads for 40 minutes and sometimes my clothes and towels are still not dry! Can you believe it, no one will fix my dryer right so they told me to just keep running my dryer on the 40-minute cycle! what a waste, there service really sucks!Review fromMichael G
