Hello ******, sorry to hear you had such an experience. That being said you are certainly mistaken in thinking this was a solicitation from our organization. We offer doc prep student loan services, not personal loans, and you are nowhere to be found in our system. Can you please provide us with an alternate descriptor so we can try to locate your file?Review from Stacy L

This company called US Financial is a big time SCAM. If you get a call from this number and person *********************. Hang up! Its a scam to steal you money. They will lie they work for the US department of ********** but they dont. They will lie they are a loan forgiveness program that will help make your payments less and be forgiven at 15 years. They will tell you to pay them $1000 for processing fee and then the payments you make after will not go towards your loans. Next year they will keep calling to get you to re-certify and pay them money again. Each time they are going to withdraw payment they will send you non stop texts and email. This so call program needs to be taken down.US Financial Response

This company is not accepting enrollments at this time and does not engage in any form of marketing. This review was most likely for another company you were contacted by and is not applicable for ours.Review from Alex D

I have been in contact with this "company" for well over a year. They seemed really professional at first and led me to believe they were associated with Federal Student Aid. I should have known based on the wonky email signatures and all the ******* in the text that they would send. They sell themselves as a company who can reduce your monthly payments. What they don't tell you is that they basically just complete the application to apply for a repayment program on your behalf. So you pay them a fee (almost $900) for something you could do yourself. Unless *********************** I am missing this seems like the gist of their plan. To their credit, my monthly payments have been reduced (but only because it was income driven and I have since transitioned to a different job where my monthly payments will increase by default). At first they told me I could not receive a refund and then they quickly changed their mind and refunded me which is good. Wouldn't recommend, but I am not sure the Student Loan Servicers are any better.Review from Shamyra P

Just received a call, a text, and a email (junk box) as well. His name is ***********************. He demanded that I provide him information. I told him I didn't feel comfortable giving him my information but somehow he read my email address back to me. So I reached out to Mohela and the lady stated that they do not call or text anybody that they send out letters by mail. I'm glad that I didn't give this fool my personal information. He even told me that I had spoken to someone at the company sometime ago. He said well ma'am since I already have your account pulled up this will only take 10 minutes to re-certify you for the student loan forgiveness.Y'all please be careful these people will take all your money.Review from Sandra G.

ALMOST FELL FOR THIS TRAP! It was all very convincing yet confusing at the same time. I spoke to ***************************** and he was very kind from the start. They know all this information about you to make it seem legit. He tried to offer me $249 for 5 months then $12 a month for the remaining months and I thought it was legit. I tried to lower the payment but he was set on it which made me think on how real financial institutions wouls be more helpful. He got me all the way to signing a contract and even giving my debit card information. Sent out several emails and texts that included the *** logo. Ultimately, I caught on when he mention incorrect information then tried to correct the error and bypass it but I didnt let it go. I then proceeded to come on here and saw all the reviews about SCAM and mentioned it to him and he immediately hung up and refuses to answer the phone. I had to cancel my debit card. SAVE YOURSELF FROM THIS!Review from Nichole R

I started working with US Financial since October of 2021. It initiated as a phone call about being an potential applicant for a student loan forgiveness program where about ~95% of my loans where to be forgiven with me having to pay ****** monthly for 5 months and then paying about ~***** for approximately ~120 months. I made my first 4 payments and then I realized they are a scam. I lost an approximate ~$796. No payment was put in into my FSA, they had no recollection of any of this conversation or of this program, thats when I knew it was a scam. They take control of your loan service account and pocket the money, they change your password by typing in your email and date of birth, whilst you recite the code without noticing what youre doing. Ive already contacted my bank and my loan servicer, changed everything so that they have no access. Do not fall for this scam, they do not want to help you, they just want to steal money from desperate people. I spoke to ***** and *****************************, their emails are ********************************************** This organization should not be running, they dont attend to your needs, phone calls never go in (either says its not in service or a sketchy computer recording) and they pocket your money, there is no program involved, it is all a scam. If you get a phone call or an email from any of these, DO NOT PICK UP! They are a scam company! STAY SAFE! Call your financial advisors before admitting yourself to a loan forgiveness program.
