I'm filing a complaint against Seek Business Capital, located at *****************************. I found out this company is a scam after I have signed an agreement with them about a month ago. They said they will apply 4-6 credit cards under my behalf to support my business funding, however, they applied triple the amount. In addition, they said they wont pull any hard inquiries but that was a lie. It was pulled multiple times in my credit report. Seek Business Capital were going to apply more but I told them not to since it is affecting my credit score. My credit score dropped about 50 points, and I would like to know how this can be fixed. Not only that, but I was also declined all of them besides 1 credit card. The 1 approval credit card was restricted due to my application that was filed did not match in the record. Therefore, I had to close it out. They managed to be on the phone with me while I was on the phone with the banks which is unethical. Throughout this process, Seek Business Capital called and emailed me 3-5 times a day to pay for their service of $1,154.70 which is not what we agreed to. I am seeking assistance from BBB to avoid paying the invoice, delete all of my personal information from Seek Business Capital system, and help me in fixing my credit score back to where it was. This is an unethical business practice, and I would like this to be resolved ASAP. I do not want this to be reported to debt collection as they have mentioned this to me after I told them I dont want any part of this anymore. Please let me know what to do to avoid this happening. Their names are ********************* ***********), Krischanniz Ornopia ************************************************* ******************* **************************************** *********************************, *****************************. They called me from multiple numbers: *********************2, **********, **********. The billing department's managers name are *********************************************** Please BBB help me out. This is really frustrating. Thanks.

The business advertises no hard credit pull. Then when talking to them on the phone the lady asked me to go to my bank and have them run my credit. I addressed the no hard credit pull and said if youre going to help fund my business wouldnt you run my credit and not my bank. I also asked if being a disabled veteran owned business helped. The call center is obviously not here in the **, the lady got extremely rude and disrespectful. I hung up.

On March 1,2024, I received a telephone call at 5:00AM in the morning when I was still sleeping. I had inquired about a small business loan and the compliance manager stated he can provide me with a loan. I started receiving multiple credit card inquiries instead. I emailed ***************************** that this is not what we talked about cancel this. He stated I need to pay $2,653.54 or the credit card inquiries wont stop. Then stated he would call me. He did not wanted our discussion documented on email. The compliance manager ***************************** called me I need to pay an invoice. I stated to him why am I getting credit card inquiries? I was clear I wanted a small business loan to start real estate investing for construction costs. He started stating you can pull cash from the credit cards. I was like thats not what we talked about. I asked to speak to a manager and he refused to connect me. My credit card was charged $2,653.54 and my credit score was lowered. The merchant is deceitful and defrauding the consumer. I would like my money to be reimbursed.

I paid this business over 9 grand to help me secure a line of credit for my business and when I spoke to the person who "approves" my application, he explained that this was a combination of business line of credit and business credit cards. I agreed since I told him I had the money that I needed and he convinced me to apply because he said "rich people do not use their own money to buy businesses." I said ok you're right let's do it. All they did was open up multiple credit cards under my name and the majority being personal credit cards. I explained to these people that I needed liquid access as I was going to purchase a new business and I cannot do that with credit cards. They said they could get me that. Come to find out, the most I can get is maybe 12 grand liquid access. Now I have all these credit cards under my name that I did not need and on top of it all I'm out over 9 grand. I waited for them to explain to me how to liquidate these credit cards to put in my complaint but I am absolutely outraged these people do not operate in good faith and I need anyone who is thinking of doing business with this company to think twice before agreeing to sign any contracts with them. Also, I received over 50 phone calls from this company when I specified I would not be available. They will blow up your phone to get your money but the one time I tried to contact them, I was on hold for over 20 minutes.

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We want to clarify that our funding process, including the liquidation plan, comes with no guarantees. Additionally, as outlined in the Funding Estimate Agreement you signed, we disclosed that funding would be sourced from multiple banks.

The employees that I conversed with assured me there would be no problem getting the "funding" that I needed to start my business. They advertise to brand new business owners and they take advantage of the lack of experience. I was not aware that there is zero funding involved. All they did was apply for credit cards in my name and then charged me almost $8,000 to do so. I needed as close to $90,000 liquid as possible for the business acquisition I was after. I only got approximately $50,000 of credit and of that only ~ $40,000 could be "liquidated" via a third party that just charges all the credit cards. My business venture has been halted completely and I can't pursue other lending options because of the 12 new inquiries on my personal credit report. This company will ruin the start of many small business like my own and they need to stopped.

I am rejecting this response because they state that they are willing to resolve the issue but made no mention of how. My only options for response was to accept or reject the response. Accepting would have closed the case without any compensation. I appreciate that they say they are willing to do something but some sort of compensatory action must take place before I accept any response and close the case.

      Thank you.

I inquired about a loan through SoFi and unfortunately Seek Capital was on the list. I replied that I was not interested in their services after seeing multiple complaints. I then unsubscribed from their mailing list and blocked calls. Unfortunately despite doing both, this company incessantly texts and calls me EVERY DAY MULTIPLE TIMES PER DAY! This is a violation and I am asking the company to stop calling me. I have noticed several other complaints of this nature which means they are not following proper business guidelines and I am sure eventually there will be a class action lawsuit. I respectfully request to be removed from their contact list. I am sorry that I have to engage the BBB on this but the company is not complying with the removed subscription email/text feature nor are they responding to my repeated requests for them to stop calling me.

Seek Capital used predatory techniques strategically to not disclose how they were going to get funding for my business, through a long process designed to intentionally tire out the consumer. They lied to me when they said that there would be no hard inquiries into my credit file. Their employee (who I believe was called "Braenda") specifically told me on the phone that if a financial institution requires a hard inquiry they skip that bank and try the next one. All they do is take all of your very sensitive information and apply for credit cards in your name. Why would I knowly pay someone $2000 to get me a credit card with a $10000 credit limit... I already have a higher credit limit than that, I could easily apply for credit cards myself. If you read all of the one star reviews on ****** it's everyone complaining about the exact same thing, but it seems there's nothing being done to stop this fraudulent business. I want a full refund of the money they coerced out of me.

Seek Capital stated I would receive "liquid" (cash alternatives) through the use of a mix of personal and business lines of credit at 0% interest to fund a business from at least three representatives on recorded lines. The representatives specifically asked me if I wanted the liquidation through "electronic transfer or through a written check". I only received credit cards without any information or options to get an electronic transfer or written checks. On all of the recorded calls with multiple employees, I was told I would receive liquidity options to fund a business at 0% interest for the first 12 months. I was told the approval amount was not guaranteed, but I would receive the funds in a liquid form to fund my business. Seek Capital requested for me to pay them the entire invoice in the amount of $5,766.35 for the credit cards before rendering the liquidation aspect of the service. I was told once I pay the invoice I would then receive their liquidation service. I requested for the $595 liquidation fee to be removed since they refused to provide the liquidation service prior to payment. I am also disputing the interest fee amount of $4,376.35 since it was based credit card limits and not for liquidation availability. Seek Capital applied a $595 credit to my invoice for the liquidation fee since this service was not rendered. I am disputing the fact that Seek Capital is charging me *****% interest for lines of credit instead of liquidity approval options. I am disputing the $4,376.35 amount in interest fees. I am requesting for Seek Capital to stop deceptive and unethical practices. The liquidation fee was $595. The application fee was $795. The *****% fee was $4,376.35.
