      It is impossible to reach a representative. I've received an insurance notice on a totalled car that was already paid and have not been able to discuss it with anyone at Westlake and I am unable to reach customer **********************. The automated system is overloaded with options that lead to nowhere.

      I am a ********* for my son. He had an accident in April, totaling the car. Just found out that the insurance company paid Westlake for the total loss of the car on July 30th and check cashed on the 31st however it has not been credited to the account yet (its the end of August) thus charging interest on the higher remaining balance. The balance if one remains is significantly lower. I am sure this is fraud and will look into obtaining a consumer protection lawyer.

      My identity was compromised. As a result I received a hard inquiry. I filed a ***ort with *** and CFPB. When I contacted ******************************** the *** ended the call when I mentioned the *** complaint. I called back and spoke with *****. I advised him that I did not apply for credit with West Lake and I wanted the inquiry removed. He stated that I should send my personal information to: credit_ inquiry_ dispute@westlakefinancial.***I advised him that I was not comfortable providing additional personal information to a company that Im not affiliated with. I requested that this matter be handle without further compromising myself and he declined. I would like the inquiry to be removed immediately. Thank you

      If I could rate this company in the negative I would. Westlake is a company who takes advantage of those individuals with low credit scores. They have the worst customer ******************** I've ever experienced in my life not to mention the ridiculous charges they add to your account. The representatives lack knowledge of their policies and procedures (every representative will tell you something different), professionalism, empathy, and the willingness to assist the customer. I spoke with 5 different representatives in an attempt to resolve an account issue, each time I was told something different. At this point I requested a manager because I was continuously being misinformed and no one seems to know what they are talking about, my job was in jeopardy. The representative told me if I wanted to speak to a manager, it would delay the release of the vehicle. When asked why? He said because I had a problem with the service, he provided so he will request a manger to call me back which could take ***** business hours (he stated they don't do business days its hours and the company is opened 15 hours a day lol I can't make this up) so it would delay the release of the vehicle. I advised that the balanced owed was paid in full two days ago and my issue with customer ********************** has nothing to do with the release. He stated that I would have to make a choice than. He basically threatened me by insinuating if I went above him, he would assure me my approval would be delayed even longer on purpose. I denied the request to speak to a manager because at this point, I need my vehicle. You'll find yourself between a rock and a hard place dealing with this company. Unfortunately, being that their customer ratings are extremely low with no signs of improvement the powers that be doesn't care. However, to the representatives that treat the customers like c*** remember you are a customer outside of work and I pray you never find yourself in a situation needing kindness compassion.

      My Niece got a vehicle finance though Westlake and she paying on her vehicle since 2022 but she can't get a tag in ******* because Westlake won't tranfer her title to ******* she being trying to get it f=since 2022. She can't or they won't give her a straight answer. NO STARS AND IF I WAS YOU'LL I WOULD NOT GET A LOAN WITH THEM.

      1 star is being extremely kind. My experience is -10..They're crooked rats. They have never answered my calls auctioned off my. Car and won't give me a printed copy of my loan payment history and pos information. I payed them for approx 2 1/2 yes n loan amount never reflected any changes to the amount due. At times I would send additional money so that I met the required monthly payment plus extra to be applied to principle of the loan. Never happened

      We purchased a car in 2020 and our loan was sold from ******** financial to Westlake. We made our monthly payments, and fully expected to receive paperwork to release the title once our loan was paid in full. The day came in May of 2024 that our loan and all associated fees were paid and we happily awaited proof that we owned the car outright. That day never came. We called in June, and again in July, to be told that it would be 7-10 business days for the release to arrive each time. Again, no release form has been received. So we called again today, to be told that the form was mailed on August 12 (only 2 days ago) and no record of it being sent prior. Why, if we requested the paperwork multiple times since mid-**** was it not even mailed out until August 12? No one, not even a supervisor, could answer this question. , only offered to send a paid in full letter for us to take to the **** Their customer ********************** is abysmal at best and trying to get any resolution is insanity inducing.

      I started with customer ********************** at ******************** in September 2023 by requesting one payment to be extended to the end of my contract. Got the run around that I would have to call back when my payment would be due in October. So I did that around October 3. I was schedule for open heart surgery October 18 so this was the reason for the extension. Customer ********************** told me all I could do at that time was skip the auto deduct. This is where the probable started. There is no direct email to Westlake so I sent many over the past few months without any comments.. Then my account was compromised in May so I wired my payment by ************** As of August 10, that payment has not been picked up so now I have to go through ************* for a refund which takes 45 days plus a $15.00 fee.. This was after my vehicle was repossessed on August 10. I have had to make a payment of $1307 plus $500 repo fee. After spending over an hour on the telephone this was the outcome. I am requested that the repo fee be returned as well as the late fees of over $225.00. And that my credit report be corrected. Any help to recover these fees would be greatly appreciated.

      I wish I could give this company ZERO STARS! I am want to share my deeply frustrating experience with Westlake Financial in the hopes that it will help others avoid the same pitfalls I have encountered. This company has demonstrated a complete lack of customer **********************, professionalism, and accountability, making it an extremely poor choice for anyone considering a financing loan.For the past two months, I have been entangled in an ongoing issue with [Company Name], which has rendered me unable to re-register my car or obtain new tags. This is not due to any negligence on my part, but rather because of the company's refusal to send the *** my original title. This title is essential for printing the new tags, yet despite numerous phone calls and emails,Westlake has failed to take any action.What makes this situation even more infuriating is the fact that the company's customer ********************** is virtually non-existent. There is no one available in their office, let alone in the *************. The representatives who do take calls are based overseas, and they have been unable or unwilling to assist in resolving my issue. The lack of responsiveness and accountability is alarming and speaks volumes about the kind of shady business practices this company engages in.It is clear to me that Westlake does not value its customers or their time especially ones such as myself who have never been late on a payment. They have consistently ignored my requests and left me in a position where I am unable to drive my vehicle legally, all because they refuse to complete a simple, yet crucial, task.I strongly urge anyone considering doing business with [Company Name] to think twice. Their lack of customer support, shady business practices, and disregard for customer satisfaction make them a terrible choice for financing. Please do not make the same mistake I did by trusting them with your financial needs.
