      Do not do business with this company. They get a ZERO!!! Thieves!!!!!! I did not authorize ACH and they just took my money! They need to be put out of business ****!

      OMG yes I had late payments - sorry skipper my life did not turn out as perfect as yours and you never fail. Someone should really finish nailing your sainthood to the cross ( rolls eyes ) My missed payments were during Covid.Any late payments thereafter were prompted by the fact that this is the only way to get a live agent to return your inquiry. Otherwise, their only number looped to automated entries only. That is where the sublime lender starts. If we have a legally binding contract, then I should be able to speak to a live agent to resolve any issues.When I ask a question regarding my loan/charges I was never given a straight answer. Hence, I will make my payment when I want a live agent to answer me. MUTUAL relationship. I have been asking for over 2 years why I have paid $5000 over into my interest billed than on my contract, and no one in the company can provide an *********. Anonymous with the short d, with all your wisdom a few late payment do not amount to an $8000 discrepancy. Speak when spoken to and know all facts when answering. When they repo'd my car - my past due was $700 and I had just made my 1st payment on the get caught plan.If I thought that my car could possibly be repossessed, then I would not have kept any personal valuables in the car. Which I did - my security tape shows me putting my laptop and **** bag in the car. Neither were recovered. Within 48 hours of them taking possession, they had shipped it 3 hours away to *****, even though there was an Adesa 15 minutes away.Intentionally, to try to prevent pick up. After paying $860 for a transport company to drive 3 hours away to pick up my car. Because you can only pickup Fridays between 7am and 10am and I work. The license plate had been removed/missing, my new set of tires had 2 misfits, there was 3 holes punched in on my dashboard, my weatherproof carmats were gone, and there was about 1100 miles added since an oil change the day before.

      Thieves! Unprofessional and unreliable! They charged me for a late fee and insufficient funds fee for my payment I made on time. I disputed it immediately. I spoke to five different people they told me that they will not report it to the credit bureau until it gets resolved. Four months in, Im still waiting for them to contact me back (after they said they will), claiming they contacted their higher *** and are still waiting to hear back from them. No one was going to respond. They wanted me to get fed up and give up. They reported it to my credit bureau anyway. Still havent heard back. I called and reported the new information on my report. A manager finally became available and I spoke to her. She kept telling me that they found fault on their end but the charges will stand because the charges are valid. I reminded her why are they valid if you admitted fault on the charges. She started talking over me repeating the same thing. She hung up on me when I was yelling at her to stop talking and to let me talk.

      If I can leave 0 stars I would. The auto Lot ENJOY Auto sales secured 5000 to finance. Then repossessed the car and said Westlake did not approve the application. When they never called to verify this financial company needs to be shut down. Taking money from people.

      Only one starts I can't put zero. They are scammers. I got in a one month extension because I could not pay a month bill and then they turned around and tried taking the money out of my account anyways then charged me $175 for a return fee to my bank. I've had nothing but issues with these people since I got my auto loan and I will never deal with them again.

      I rarely leave reviews, but my experience with Westlake Financial has been incredibly frustrating. I made a payment in error after *** of Fremont rejected a payment from Westlakebut despite this, Ive been unable to get my money back.Whats worse is the complete lack of customer service. Ive called several times, and theres no clear way to speak with a real person or escalate urgent issues. Its exhausting and unacceptable, especially for a financial company handling sensitive payments.If you value your time, peace of mind, and customer support, I strongly recommend thinking twice before doing business with Westlake Financial.

      Absolutely horrible company! Repo my car after lying to me about payment information! Told manager to listen to recording since all calls are monitored and conveniently they can't find that call!!!! Called to see about getting my car back and they want full loan amount ! I have a cosigner and won't let him take over the loan.. So what is the point of a cosigner. Worst company ever never got monthly statements or ever for the whole time I had loan with them ! Completely disgusted with they way they run their company. Never worked with me with payments being late or anything!

      Pretty ridiculous customer service. Paid a vehicle off 7 weeks ago now and I still don't have the lien release so I can sell it or trade it in. I've called and spoken to someone 4 times over that time. They've resent the lien release. Still not here. Now they're saying I have to wait another week before they can even take action on it again. I just filed a complaint with the **** for unethical business practices. I wouldn't ever do business with this company again.

      One of the worst companies I've dealt with in a long time. I'll let my email communication tell the ******* letter to them:To Whom It May Concern:I am writing to formally dispute the $5 third-party processing fee you are attempting to charge for my auto loan payment. This fee was not disclosed in the original finance agreement I signed with Westlake Financial, and I did not agree to pay additional third-party charges to fulfill my contractual obligation.I have reviewed your alternative payment options, and they either interfere with my ability to manage my budget or carry a risk of overdraft. Your refusal to assume responsibility for any overdraft charges further compounds the risk to me as a consumer.I am willing to pay the full amount due under our original agreement. However, I will not accept being forced into paying a fee for a third-party payment processor that I did not agree to. If this matter is not resolved immediately, I will file a formal complaint with the Consumer Financial ***************** (CFPB) and the ********************************Please respond in writing to confirm that you will allow me to make my regular payment without the added fee.Their Response:The ticket you reported under Ticket ID #****** has been closed.Thank you,Westlake Financial -------Message:Hello ******* "*******", Good day and thank you for reaching **, we apologize for all the inconvenience this may have cause, unfortunately we cannot remove the third-party processing fee, but we can offer you our automatic payment system, if you need help, we can assist enrolling you in automatic payments which is free of charge, I will leave the link below: ********************************************************

      My 47th out of 48 payment was withdrawn from my account April 12th, 2025. My payments are usually applied on the 12th of each month. I started getting harassing phone calls claiming that I missed a payment. I contacted them, due to being very confused and concerned. The representative immediately tells me that Im behind on payments and how will I be making my payment today. I explained that my payment just went out. She said my contract stated that my last payment would be April 12th, which means if I dont pay that before the 30th of April, the amount owed will be $601. Then she went on to say it will be several weeks before I even get my title, IF I make the payment on time. The manner of her tone was rude and aggressive. Im not understanding how 1. My balance will go up when my car is basically paid off. and 2. Why did she say if I get my title?Something isnt adding up with conversation, and all of this aggression is very odd.
