BE CAREFUL! Misinformation and professional negligence in the finance department... I love the car I recently purchased from National City Auto Center, however, after I walked away I found that I was lied to in multiple areas.1. The loan that was presented and agreed to was a 72 month term, yet I was enrolled in a 75 month agreement. We had discussed several options which were always confirmed to be 72 months, both verbally and written. The increased term correlates to an additional $1,900 in payments that I was not aware of and did not agree to.2. The 30 day warranty from the dealership is useless. After leaving the lot, I found my overhead cabin lights don't work (no big deal, typical used car things) however when I tried to address the issue they refused to be of service in any way.3. I was guaranteed the 2 year warranty I purchased was "bumper to bumper" and would cover every aspect of the vehicle, it is FAR from that. I then took my vehicle to the ****** dealership to address the cabin light issue, where they told me it would cost around $1,200 to fix and the warranty I was provided wouldn't cover much more than powertrain.4. I was told the vehicle had Apple CarPlay installed, yet after leaving I found this is not the case. Apparently the year and model of my vehicle never had CarPlay options as new, so this would cost an additional $1,000 minimum in third party solutions.Long story short, I'm out $4,100, PLUS any out of pocket repairs that come up over the next two years that aren't covered by my "bumper to bumper" warranty...Shame on me for not rereading every aspect of the contract I signed and trusting a licensed professional to uphold their end of an agreement... The manager I spoke with told me they have 1-2 people per month that come back with the same issue (seems like a pretty consistent problem???) EVEN THE ***** *** CONFIRMED WE HAD DISCUSSED AND CONFIRMED A *********************************************** any way.

I went into Nation City Auto Center on 4/14/24 put money down on a 2010 dodge charger which I financed, had a theft system in it and signed a contract which was for monthly payment on 14th for $251.03 over 35 months to come out to $17,137.08 That contract was than revoked due to my former employer saying Im no longer employed there and the financial company took away their financing. I than had to wait till I had my new paystub from my new employer, took that into dealership and signed my current contract on 4/27/24 which now doesnt include a theft system, and is for a monthly payment of $270.18 over 23 months and comes out to $14,584.32. The dealer themselves were for sure aware of the false information on 5/18/24 when I notified the employee ******. He told me they had paid a month and I need to pay them back, I never asked for them to pay, nor did I agree for them to pay, nor was I even aware they made a payment till 2 days after it was made to westlake financial (another trash no help company) without my knowledge and consent and broke their contract agreement. I have tried contacting ******** financial to fix it, *** sent proof to a manager Spoke verification department on said shell contact dealer. I spoke with a supervisor she said to send in the proof again but this time to fraud department and they will get back to me by 6/21/24. They have not. I have audio proof of the dealership employee ****** and who seemed to be the main boss telling me they are the same contracts and I need to pay, but clearly in the details Ive given and what the both contracts state, they are two totally different contracts. After 2 months I texted dealership employee ****** to ask about plates i never got.Its been over 2 months since I originally took the car,he states So once you pay the payment that you owe That Westlake charged us. Then we will finish processing your DMV paperwork. I believe they are withholding my plates as well just to try make me pay for their error.

This place had the vehicle I wanted so I went there and thought I had a seamless time. My issue arises months after purchase when I received a $1100 dmv registration ****, after I was informed by a salesman and a member of the finance department that I wouldn't be getting any dmv letters or renewals until I have had the vehicle for over a year. Sounded awesome at the time, until now they are denying all statements and saying no one said that, and I'm on my own for a $1100 **** that I had no planning for. I'm a 100% disabled combat veteran who is 100% unemployable. I don't have that kind of money just waiting around to pay bills that I was told I wouldnt have. I think they took advantage of me, and said what they needed to to make the sale. I will escalate to whoever I need to so it doesnt happen to anyone else
