I hired Frontier Moving Solutions on November 1st, 2025. I paid REMOVEDto the company to move one bedroom of kids furniture and clothes from Mississippi to Ohio. They hired an external company to come and pack the items and load them in the truck. Once the movers arrived I was told I needed to pay an additional REMOVED in cash which was not written in my original contract. After the truck arrived to Ohio, it was discovered one of the beds on the three tier bunk bed had missing parts that prevented the bed from being put together and missing wooden pieces that kept the mattress from falling through. I made a claim and was quoted REMOVEDfor damages on November 12th. I disputed the refund because the weight of the bed they quoted did not match the actual weight of the bed. They sent me another quote for REMOVED the following week. I had the letter notarized and mailed to them in December. It is now March 31st 2026 and I still have not recieved my payment. I emailed them February 22nd 2026 asking about my refund with no response. I emailed them again today with no response.

I was initially quoted approximately $2400 to move my furniture from Los Molinos, CA to Buckeye, Az. After packing my belongings the movers told me I had to pay another $5500 (approximately) and if I didn't pay I would have to pay about $1500 for them to release my property back to me. I called the company that did the moving estimate and was told the person who did the estimate no longer worked for them and I had no choice. We came to an agreement where I paid about $4000 extra. I was left with no choice and later learned the same thing had happened to other people in the area.
Upon the movers arrriving with my furniture I discovered a nightstand that was completely demolished. I filled out the Release and Settlement of Claim form and had to get it notorized. Althought the furniture, which was fairly new, cost about $125, Master Moving would only authorized a $45 payment. I have yet to be paid, even after emailing and calling many times. I hve completely gotten the run around. Incredibly poor business!! I believe I was scammed along with many other people.

Buyer Beware! Master Moving teamed up with a broker, Brightside Moving Group. Brightside doesn’t tell you that they are a broker. They gave me the impression that they were the moving company. Brightside gave us an estimate for $1800 and then when Master Moving got there they said it was $900 more. Bait and switch. They know you need them. Furthermore, we had a tight moving schedule and couldn’t find another company. They only took cash. That should have been a red flag. Lesson learned. The movers banged up walls and broke a light fixture when they moved our sofa down to the basement. We filed a claim on their insurance which took 60 days for a response only to learn that it was denied because their insurance only covered items transported during the move. Owner has not returned calls. The woman who answered the phone said they do not have insurance for residential damage. There never has been residential damage? She said no. I’m out another $1400 to fix the damages.

I had a completely unsatisfactory and dishonest experience with Master Moving Inc. Items were scheduled to be picked up in Sacramento on January 23, 2025 and delivered to Bothell, WA (that day they decided delivery would be the next day). I measured each item to the inch and calculated a load of 400CF. The broker, American Way Moving, concurred with the estimate and gave me an estimated fee of $2,371.93. They selected Master Moving, and I had no say in the choice, assuming AWM had vetted their partner. I flew from Bothell and had everything ready. They moved all my items to the street and then told me the load was 1,000CF and the total fee would be $4,871.93. They gave no proof of the difference; I called AWM and my options were to accept the additional charge and it would be addressed later (which didn’t happen) or let them move what they saw as 400CF and move the rest myself (not a real option). I had no choice but to sign the documentation and proceed with the move. I had to pay with cash or certified check (a red flag as it stops a review by a credit card company). My items were moved as scheduled, but for over twice the estimated cost. I even shaped the items into a cube to simulate the truck and came to 500CF at most (still nothing close to the 1,000 CF MMI calculated. AWM says they are not responsible even though they chose MMI. MMI told me I should have refused the move and they would do nothing and hung up on me. The company reviews and complaints reflect a pattern of dishonesty dealing with customers who have no recourse. I hope the BBB can do something about these unscrupulous business practices and protect consumers.

Estimate for $1488 for storage move. When they arrived, they said I had more items than estimated. They packed everything up then provided an additional cost of $5300. I asked them to unpack the truck but mover negotiated for partial payment. When I called back they told me that they would be auctioning my property. Then had me sign blank documents and Ben the supervisor said he would see me in court, then hung up the phone.

Brightside Moving Group (moving brokerage) set me up with Master Moving Inc. I signed the bill of lading, and was quoted 11.7k. After doing a second inventory, it was increased to about $17k.

I had all of our household goods professionally packed when we moved from Texas to Wyoming at the beginning of June. We were able to successfully haul it ourselves in a 26ft U-Haul, as well as a 12 ft trailer.

When master showed up on August 21st, they looked at our storage unit and garage where everything was stored and said everything looked good. They repacked MANY boxes that were already professionally packed, and rewrapped a lot of which was already wilted and wrapped.

Halfway through, the driver told me they needed both 26ft trucks to move our stuff & the new price would be $26.9k! HOW?! We moved two months prior and managed just fine with what we used (almost 1000 square feet left).

They stopped so I could make some calls. They told me they could take one truck and we’d be on our own for the rest. Or they could dump all of our stuff out and we could start over with someone else. Someone from Master called me and told me I was “bitching” at their staff? I had been nothing but nice to them all day.

I was then forced to pay the new amount in order to go through with the move (had to pay $13k THAT DAY).

Fast forward to drop off day - September 1st. The crew shows up, and one of them didn’t even work for them and it was only his second moving job ever. The amount of stuff that was broken was unimaginable.

The driver was rude to his team, yelling at them to not help me see what was in boxes (I had them labeled but since they reboxed everything, I had no idea what was in them so I couldn’t direct them which room to put them in).

He continues to yell at the crew in front of my 2 & 4 year olds, told us I had “weird furniture” to assemble, and refused to assemble much of which was promised.

Overall AWFUL experience, and I’m hoping for some type of refund.

I hired Master Moving for an interstate move scheduled between September 23-25, which was a non-negotiable date agreed upon in our contract. I paid a deposit for this service. However, they failed to honor the agreed-upon date and informed me that they had no availability.

Before collecting the deposit, they persistently contacted me, but after receiving it, they became rude and unresponsive, refusing to continue the conversation about my refund request. I even received an email falsely stating that my move had been picked up, which is completely inaccurate. This entire experience has caused significant stress and delayed my interstate move. Despite my clear communication and evidence that the move did not happen, they are refusing to return my deposit.

I can supply the contract, email correspondence, and a recording from their employee confirming they had no availability on the agreed date.

This company quoted us one price and then charged us another. The customer service and the employees avoid calls and do not communicate after we've tried contacting them dozens of times. They are trying to charge us outrageous prices after all of our stuff was loaded into the truck and moved. We are going to dispute the charges with our bank as well as contact a lawyer to see if there's legal action we can take.

They handled our stuff incorrectly and damaged items after we packed it very securely. The times for delivery were outside of the discussed and agreed upon time. They were late delivering and didn't start heading down with our stuff until the day it was supposed to arrive.

Things arrive cross-country, with poor packaging. Flat screen tv broken, several art peices broken, bookcases broken, desk not assembled properly as initially advertised. I purchased their upgraded insurance and they would not honor it, offered me a pittance of around a hundred dollars in damages for the over $5k loss.
