      On February 17th, 2024, I applied for an online business checking account and was denied without being told why and am being refused a chance to reapply. My credit file was locked when i applied for the checking account, I was not considering that my credit would be run. I have unlocked it on Equifax, and I can unlock it on the others, but this company is refusing to give this small business owner the chance to apply correctly. ****** and ****************** were not sufficient help.

      The company Bluevine is telling me to use a different email address to apply for their account. My business only has one email address, creating another one is encouraging disorganiztion and a business in Finance should be capable of respecting the need for organization. Their system is set up to block users from applying with the same email address and account. I don't even want anything to do with their shady practices, I just want other users to see what they're doing when they get looked up on websites like BBB, trust pilot and Consumer protections.

      The financial service company, Bluevine, abruptly closed my account without appropriate notification along with closing off access to my account for access to my financial information and dealing with the entity. Basically, as a former client, I can't or have no avenue to access my financial information and deposit balance. A follow-up email indicated I have no balance to be refunded to and there are no further assistance to follow up to. No reference to how to resolve any issue. Am sure there are some rights for a consumer to deal with a federally and state-registered corporate entity. If there aren't any, then Bluevine's business entity is near or at a predatory level. Pray on the innocent that entrust their financial to a supposed business-friendly institution.

      I've been with this bank for over a year & have had no negative transactions nor history whatsoever. After depositing a certified check that I was told would have a 1 day hold they placed a 7 day hold. I called to request that they verify the funds in order to release them & was denied with no explanation. It's absurd & unreasonable. We'll be returning to a ************** banking with more to offer business clientele.

      I am rejecting this response. The funds were still placed on an extended hold regardless that they were verifiable. Now that the funds have been released I am being mandated to provide relative work justification for the funds. I've never heard of such absurdity. The certified check ****** was issued from another bank where my tax refund was deposited.

We got a second rejection from this client on complaint# 21286507. The client's complaint is in regards to a mobile check deposit in the amount of $29,336.59 being put on hold until 02/22/24. The funds had been posted on the scheduled date and our team reached out to the client but the client has not responded to us yet, but this issue has been resolved since then. So we are not responding to the second rejection since it is the same response as the first one.

      Bluevine has stated that I've not communicated with them which is grossly inaccurate. I've called them daily and sent multiple emails. While they did finally release the funds for the check as it was verified, they then paused my account entirely so I have no access to anything nor can complete any transactions. I've complied with each of their requests within an hour of having received the request with the lady being on 2/23. According to them this account review lasts 1-2 business days but it's exceeded that time frame. Also, as I'd confirmed by phone the account transactions and the check was certified and verified from a reputable bank, there was no just cause to pause my account. They're aware the funds were from the *** for a tax refund. As I've never had any negative a count activity and have been with them exceeding a year, this action is unjustified, unfair and not in line with banking regulations according to the ***** FCC & CPD. 

      The attachments show my numerous attempts to correspond with each being closed void a reply from the business.

      I got paid for services to my business account on 2/9/24, I made two *** transactions to myself. The first one went through fine but did not show up in my bank account, the second one, the transaction was denied and the money was never returned to my Bluevine account. On top of that the first *** I sent to myself is not showing in the system that I sent it but the money is gone from the account. I am unable to access my funds due to Bluevine's "technical issue", here it is Monday 2/12/24 and I still don't have access to MY money to pay myself nor an answer on when this issue will be resolved. This is ridiculous and unacceptable. How am I supposed to pay bills, my contractors and myself? Where are the funds? and why have they not been returned to my account? I would never recommend this bank to anyone for business or personal banking. This issue should have been escalated and rectified within a 24 hour period.

      Bluevine closed my account for no apparent reason. When I called to inquire, the agent informed me due to security reasons they could not tell me. I am the sole user of the account. I verified my address, SSN, email, business name on the phone yet they still could not let me know. They did not even warn me prior to account closure. They say they will send me the balance via check however after reading these other complaints I do not have high hopes. I wanted to support a smaller banking business but they do not know how to run a business.

      I submitted an application to open a business checking account for our business (Almus Farms LLC). I submitted all required government identification, private personal information, etc and was prompted days later to submit a "utility bill". I called and spoke with ****** who I explained that we are renters who do not pay utilities and asked if it was alright to submit our renter's insurance bill. He assured me that YES this was OK. I submitted it and I was subsequently prompted the next day and the following day to submit a utility bill. I called again and spoke to ********, who I explained the same issue and he suggested we submit our driver's licenses as the underwriting team requested a "utility bill or government ID". We complied and submitted all this private information again. We were then rejected for a business checking account. I have never been rejected from opening an account in my life and have always provided all necessary documents as requested. Bluevine harvested my data to do whatever they want with it and store it in their servers, probably to steal my identity or use it to open false accounts like ***** Fargo has been caught doing, while rejecting me, the applicant, from acquiring an account for my business. If these employees said this paperwork would suffice and I complied I should have never been denied and Bluevine is a front for data harvesting of potential clients. It is not a bank and yet, operates as a bank, while hiding behind fine print on their website stating "we are not a bank, but a financial tech (fintech) company." I would like all my data wiped from their servers and evidence provided to me, not a just a blanket policy response without evidence. I do not believe this criminal organization and I need to see proof from their server side that my data was wiped. I will file a complaint with the **** and SEC against Bluevine for criminal data harvesting and financial fraud.

      I have been trying to get over 600 that was left in my business account for m and b gift service. About 1 year ago after filing a complaint with better business bureau they sent me a check in my business name but I had no account in my business. I signed the check with my business name and mailed it back asking for them to send 1 in my name instead of business name and have not received nothing yet this has been going on for 2 plus years now they are keeping my money I need them to send me a check in my name when I call I get the run around are they hang up I am hoping the better business bureau can help me get my money that blue vine is keeping

      I have a business checking account with ******************. I wrote a check to ******* ************ on 1/4 to be deposited in my company's pension account. On 1/8 I was told that there was a stop payment on the check. I did NOT stop payment. ****** charged me $25 for the stop payment fee (I got a letter from them with the charge). I checked with Bluevine and at first they said there are no stop payments on my account. That is correct since I've never stopped payment on a check. In the next message, the rep said that the check was blocked due to a stop payment. I asked who stopped payment on the check since it wasn't me and no one is an admin on the account except for me. They couldn't give me any answered. The check was valid, the account it valid, my account had more than enough money to cover the check. It makes no sense that Bluevine can simply stop payment on a check and not tell the account holder. No reason was given. Nothing. I asked for the name of who stopped payment. It wasn't provided. I asked for a supervisor to contact me. None did. I had to call, chat, and email to finally get anyone to respond and even now on Jan 29th they can't give me an answer. This is not the first time one of my payments failed with them. The last time it was an ACH payment. And NO ONE at Bluevine notified me of the glitch in their system and that the payment didn't go through. My dashboard said it went through. They are creating issues for my business by denying payments. How do they have the right to stop payment on one of my checks without my permission? If they had apologized for the mistake, paid the fee I was charged and took responsibility I wouldn't be so upset. Instead, all they do is deny and pass the ********* of their reps even stated that ****** stopped payment on my check. That's impossible.

      The check payment was stopped on 1/8. It's now 1/30 and I still have no answers. I've asked time and time again for an answer and the only response I get (when I get one) is they need to investigate. How long does it take to see who stopped payment on my check? Do they not keep accurate records? Or do they not want to admit they are in the wrong? In addition to answers, they owe me the $25 fee ******* ****** charged me for a stop payment. There's really no excuse for having anyone, other than the account holder, to stop payment on a check. This was a REQUIRED payment to my company's pension plan. I can no longer trust that any checks on my account will be honored. NOT for the fact that the funds aren't there (they are) but for the fact that Bluevine can just stop payment on anyone's check without their permission or notification.

      BUYER BEWARE!!! For the life of me I CANNOT understand how this company has & maintains an A+ rating with the BBB! It's absurd at the # of people who have filed complaints against Bluevine! I initially filed a complaint with the BBB in Oct 2023. In that complaint I stated that in Dec 2018 a payment was sent to Bluevine on behalf of my company. During 2018 a previous CEO had been using Bluevine to make loans against open invoices so all of the invoice pmts from that one customer were being sent to a PO Box in *******. Bluevine would accept the pmt & either pass the pmt along to my company or take their loan pmt & then pass the remainder on to us. It was determined in July 2023 that they received a pmt of $8,837.72 for an invoice that did not have a loan against ********* failed to pass it through. We confronted them & have consistently been given the run-around. We have proof that they cashed the check into their own account. After we filed the complaint with the BBB in Oct we were told they would be sending the reimbursement so we agreed that the issue had been resolved & allowed the BBB to close the case. A check was never sent. Several attempts were made again asking for an update. We received an email stating they had sent the check 3 times & 3 times it returned - that was an outright lie! We were told once again that they were sending another check. A street address was provided & we requested a tracking number. On Thurs, 1/11/24, a check was FINALLY received via ****** It was a handwritten check which I felt was a little odd considering the size of this **************** was dated 1/9/24 (if they had already sent it 3 times the check date would be older). Even with these red flags, I took it to the bank on 1/12/24 & deposited it. It was returned to our bank on 1/17 & we were charged $10. We are now submitting another complaint & unless certified funds/wire transfer at their expense happens we will exercise our rights to their fullest extent

      Bluevine has held over $92,000 of my money for over 2 months and refuses to send a check like they said they would. Every time I call to try and get some resolution they give me same answer about how the account is closed and I no longer have access to the dashboard or funds. They are robots. At first they froze my account and asked for all my documentation such as ID, selfie, transaction info, etc. I provided them everything they asked for. It took them 3 weeks and multiple calls for them to decide they were just going to close my account. Since that day they refuse to speak to me on any sort of resolution and refuse to send me a check for 92k they stole. AVOID AT ALL COST!! This business is a scam! This how Bluevine treats veterans and business owners.

      Bluevine, your response solves nothing. I would like to have my money back. I don't care that you closed my account. I care about getting my funds back that you have unjustly held. I care that Bluevine has not sent the check that was promised. I will continue to create post on all social media platforms explaining to any potential clients what Bluevine is doing until my funds are returned to me. I am also communicating with media outlets to share me story about how Bluevine has basically declared my money theirs.
