High pressure sales pitch, was pushed to pay a huge amount up front, promised work would be done within 2 weeks, 4-6 weeks with a permit, pressured to not get a permit but I said I wanted one from the start... Many months later and I have holes in my walls, paint splatters and dusty white stains on my black tile that won't come out no matter how much I scrub, trash in my yard, countless days woken up early and trapped in a room with my cats waiting for the guys to show up, realizing they left without telling me, wondering if they're coming back. Texting and calling and being told to relax and be patient. Them blaming the city for being slow with permits and inspections, and me for wanting those things. They should have had the permit in hand before starting work. I feel I've been robbed, my home has been made to look significantly worse, I lost the use of one of my bathrooms, my time has been stolen, and my mental and emotional health has been harmed. What a nightmare. I am too exhausted to list every mistake and lack of communication / professionalism but there have been so many. Doorknobs put in upside-down and backwards, wrong paint colors used. Sloppy, uneven work on stuff like drywall and paint to where I am struggling to trust them to move forward with the project to the point of installing tile. Every day I weigh the benefits of firing them and being done with them versus the downsides of finding a new contractor and paying them to fix everything ybarra damaged and did wrong. I feel at this point they should refund everything I have paid, and pay the cost of hiring a new contractor to do the job right.

      12/28/2021

      Good Morning,
We have since rectified the situation with our client, there was some misunderstandings but have addressed all issues and are still working on this project which is permitted by the city and we look forward to completing it to our customers satisfaction.
Below I will add a screen shot of our conversation.
      Thank you so much!

      Customer response

      12/29/2021

I am rejecting this response because:
I was told the delays were due to not having the permit, but now we have the permit and I am still only getting one guy for 4 hours a day max, work is very slow.

The workers are still showing up hours later than they said they would and leaving early without telling me. The damage / stains are still on my tile but the workers assure me they'll fix it "when the project is done." I've tried hard to be patient and understanding but it still feels like this will go on forever. I'm also not a fan of my email correspondences being shared here without being asked or notified.

I think the project could be done in a day or so by a team of guys who worked a full day. But at this pace it will go on all winter if something doesn't change.
