      Whether you use this service or not is up to you, but my experience using this site was very bad and regrettable. First of all, the information was not up to date at all. If you search the full name of the person you are looking for on ******, you will get more and better information than using this site. They also take advantage of you by hiding information in the advertisement. They are not trustworthy at all because they use this method to withdraw more money from your account as if you accepted the agreement. In the advertisement, they say very clearly that you only pay 95 cents for a single search without any other explanation, and when you trust the advertisement and use the service, this is where the withdrawal of money from your account starts and they charge you three times in a week: 95 cents, $28.98, and $14.95. Since I did some research after this experience, I realized that they charge different prices from people so that the costs are not the same. Just for one search for one person. And when you contact them, they will charge you a lot of money from the agreement you accepted and there will be no return. Just because of the abuse of your trust. Please refrain from using this site without research so that they do not charge you for no reason. Sometimes the money you pay is not very important, but it is annoying to abuse you, they think they are very clever with this method of getting money, but in fact it prevents people from using this site.

      I paid for a single background check for $3.95 and then canceled my account IMMEDIATELY. Per their terms and conditions I should have never been charged again since my account was canceled within the 2 day window. On top of not getting great results on the background check, they have charged me $29.95 NINE TIMES!

      **************** is a company that appears to charge you $0.95 for a single lookup, while in reality, it is a $24.95 monthly charge unless you cancel within two days. They refuse to provide any refund, then disclose hidden information about charges that you failed to see. Also, their database is not up to date as the information I was attempting to find was WRONG.

      You did not get the results you expected
      Your search results were inaccurate
      Your search did not return results
      Your trial period ended and you were charged for a full month

      I did a one time people search and was charged less than a dollar. A couple days later, they took almost $24.95 out of my account and claimed I signed up for a membership.

      I am very disappointed in this ethos of this business. I agreed to a membership last month and later changed my mind because the information I received was much less than expected. I canceled my subscription the same day and took a screenshot for reference. Nearly a month later I saw where they attempted to charge my debit card for a subscription fee. I then went back into the account (which is now listed under my husbands email address but still connected to my card) and attempted to cancel the subscription again. Each time I try I keep getting the pop-up message: Oops, something went wrong. Sorry, we were unable to process your request. I then sent them a message through the Contact us link explaining what I am experiencing. I have blocked them as a merchant on my card. Im not sure what to do next.

      I have asked multiple times since May 2 2025 for my account to be deleted. I am unable to cancel the membership as it states it's expired. I have tried to delete the account multiple ***** ****** and the final delete account button is inactive. Seeing as how my account is still active and I have not had contact with anyone from people finders, as of today May 9 2025, I am now going to contact the *************** consumer complaint center and *** (***). This company has tried to debit $24.99 from my credit card multiple times in the past few days. I have since frozen said card. This is absolutely horrid business practices on their part.

We have removed the auto-renewal for this membership and you will not be billed going forward. The membership fee is non-refundable. Your membership will expire automatically and you may utilize the service until then by logging into your account.

      Like others here. You sign up for a 3 day trial at $3.95 and then they continue to charge you $29.99 a month without any notification. It is a complete scam and predatory. If this was legit you would be notified via email with an invoice. They know you didn't realize you were auto signing up for a monthly when you PAID for a trial. And the info they have is not even accurate or anything you can't find yourself on ******.
