      I found out this company had charged my debt card in the month of Febm 2025. I called their company and the recorded line advised you to log in to cancel the account, well , I've never had an account with this company. I spoke with a live person and was told that I didn't have an account when providing some information, well today, (4/8/2025) the company is still charging my debt card, I called again today (4/8/2025) and Spoke with a live person, and I explained to the person this is the second call to this company, the person asked me some questions, and 2 out of the 3 questions seems like it my account but there was two accounts using my debt card. After saying that I was going to report them, the person placed me on hold , gave me confirmation number to say that they closed the account, and I must follow up with my bank, I asked the person of he could email me the confirmation he said no, I asked him if he had an email, he said no. After the conversation with people finder, I called my bank and informed them of what was going on. later on my account had been refunded from people finder. Everyone please keep an eye out for all the scams

      I did a one time look up and specifically opted out of any subscription. They charged me a subscription fee two days later. I cant get a hold of their support either. Incredibly dishonest. I mean I opted out of everything despite their sly user experience. Dont ever use this site. Its basically a scam to pilfer money from you.

      I purchased a premium member March 29th 2025. Ive called repeatedly and send 7 emails. The only response I get is generic instructions on how to cancel however it does not work! I opted for a call back and havent received that call back.

      I have used a one time free service with Peoples Finder. 4 months later I look at my ****** account and see re occurring charges for $29 plus dollars for a membership that I didnt sign up for or have seen any emails about it. I went through my email, nothing from ***************. I have tried to ask for refund and Im getting a message from them saying its my fault basically. However, I believe its a manipulation on their behalf, or simply, an elegant idea of taking other peoples money. I am considering of filing an issue with ******. Its a scam.

      I am rejecting this response because:I didnt reach out to the bank. I reached out to ****** after I tried to get anywhere with PF. I also closed my account, who wouldnt? After some research on the internet i found that many people have complained about the same issue- a ghost membership that tags on a free initial service and then does not show in emails or even with membership welcome in the email box, therefore hiding in a calculated strategy to siphon as much money as possible before people notice whats happening. ****** has requested more information about membership agreements, which I dont have because they were not sent directly to me, and they have decided to close the case, giving me a few weeks to appeal, which Im going to do today. I request the refund from the ** and call them out on their loop hole policies which were obviously written with the calculation that the average person will just accept the catch 22 situation and gives up

      I did a $1 trial for 3 day's that I was told could be canceled anytime within those 3 day's and I did just that. It is now a little over 1 month later and peoplefinders continues to attempt to pull $24 out of my account even after I have canceled my membership. I have tried on multiple occasions to contact customer support but it is impossible to a hold of anyone to get any help. I have also on many occasions contacted them via email and have always gotten automated messages that give the same instructions to cancel membership which I have already done 4 time's now and this continues to happen and I am fed up with it and just want it to stop like it should have the moment I canceled that membership. I feel like this company is a scam and I will not be giving them any business in the future.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. It may also be beneficial to the business to look into the way the website is functioning due to the fact that I have canceled multiple times even receiving the "WE HATE TO SEE YOU GO" message and to discover that it did not cancel and multiple attempts were made to charge the renewal fee. The automated response from the customer support email is another issue as it gives the same response over and over and is not very helpful in resolving in any issues.

      I signed up for what I believed was a 1 month subscription to peoplefinders. You can see from uploaded photo that I wanted to make sure I cancelled membership immediately. I thought I was no longer a member. People finders continued to bill me $24.95 a month thereafter until I caught it in January. I called and emailed them and got nowhere. All the the they offered was to cancel the recurring subscription. I then went to ********** and disputed the transactions from December, November and October. A few weeks later I called people finders and ***** and found i could no longer contest the charges from August and September. I'm willing to pay for the initial month because I used the service a few times. However, they will not refund the $49.90 for August and September. This may sound ***** but my income is around $50 a day.

      I signed up for a trial **************** for $3.95for 3 days ( I wanted to check 1 person ) and absolutely no where did I see nor agree to a monthly subscription for $***** to be auto billed. I seen the charge and immediately emailed the company as it states will respond promptly within 24 hrs.. no response in several days. I emailed again nothing. I called my financial institution and stopped auto bill. I called peoplefinder and they stated I agreed to the auto billing and the ***** so I asked them to provide me via email where I agreed to this as well as the monthly billing and they refused and said its not available. The customer service *** was loud and abrasive and overtalked meThey would not provide and info to and seemed upset that I flagged the billing to my financial institution. This company is extremely misleading, and I feel is fraudulent in its dealings and how they do business. My account was closed after I flagged the billing and they still charged my account ***** + the 3.95. I used the service 1 time and the results provided very little information and very few fields. I only had the account open for a 4 days before it was closed due to my flagging the charges. I feel this business preys on people with its hidden costs and policies and is how they generate revenue by misleading people. I feel its a scam!

      I signed up for a 3 day (72 hour) FREE Trial on March 14, 2025 at approximately 1pm. I put in my credit card and was told I had until March 17th at 5pm to cancel. I took a screen shot of all pages as proof. On March 17th at 10am, I cancelled my Free trial. On the next page after the cancellation, it said I could still use my account until April 14th. I was alarmed and thought "Oh No" they already charged me! I immediately checked my debit card and sure enough, they charged me $24.95 before the trial was up. I sent to them via email to their customer care department copies of the screen shots and how THEY DID NOT HONOR their FREE TRIAL and the response I got was "WE WILL NOT REFUND YOU". So, I called my bank to dispute this and my bank told me that they charged me at 2am on the 17th! They don't intend on honoring their Trials. They are using this Free Trial to RIP PEOPLE OFF. I work in a *********** Firm with over ***** agents and THEY ALL WILL KNOW WHAT A RIP OFF PEOPLE FINDERS IS AND THEY WILL LOSE A LOT OF MONEY AND BUSINESS DUE TO THEIR BAD CUSTOMER RELATIONS. NEVER EVER AGAIN WILL I USE THEM OR RECOMMEND THEM. STAY AWAY FROM THEM. This is my first complaint. I am going to ****** next, then to Yelp and any place else I can find to warn the public.

      I tried repeatedly to cancel th auto payment from the website and there was no subscription listed or card attached. I called the number on the website and was assured this was canceled back in January. I am requesting a refund again before I pursue a charge back from my bank. Thank you.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      At no point did I sign up for a membership. You have charged me fraudulently and are refusing to refund fraudulent charges. None of those reasons listed for your refund policy are why I am requesting a refund. I am requesting a refund of the charges you fraudulently withdrew from my bank account.
