Over the past several years we have been working with Tax Tiger, originally under the guise that she would be able to help us reduce our past tax liability. Bottom line, they have not saved us a *****! At times they have charged us to fix THEIR errors. And the part that really rubs me wrong... look here, look on ******, any time someone writes a negative review she tries to gaslight the client into them being the problem. She never, ever apologizes or takes any accountability. And I am sorry but if you think its ok to speak that way to clients, you probably shouldnt be in that line of work. This experience was bad enough to file a grievance with the state bar and the better business bureau. I would have done it sooner but we felt like we were hostages for her "help." Shame on us for our naivety. After her most recent email, she is clearly not willing to finish out the service for which she was paid. She doesnt even think we are her clients anymore?! Why is your office still emailing me then?

After reading over 26 pages of notes that span 2+ years of work for you, multiples services due to installment agreement defaults to agencies, and you failing to implement our recommendations regarding withholdings, your situation will not change. We explained this to you, but you continue to get frustrated each year in which you incur a new tax liability, as the existing agreement in place will default when this happens. We can also mention the various issues we had in communication while preparing and resolving the back tax returns that were in need of filing. We worked for over 2 years attempting to bring you into tax compliance and place you on the road to recovery, but this only works if you follow the advice and services you paid for. We established multiple agreements with the CA FTB, multiple agreements with the **** recommended you increase your withholdings, and then now you threaten us with reporting to the CA BAR and BBB. Why would we continue to work with and represent you beyond that. Wed love to keep accepting your money to provide additional services, but feel like the issues need to be resolved by you first.
We wish you well and hope you can stay compliant moving forward.

I had a very disappointing experience with Tax Tiger. They were quick to take my money and promised to help, but they failed to deliver. Responses were often delayed or nonexistent. I needed important paperwork completed before an IRS meeting, and the helper only responded the day before, providing no assistance until after the meeting had already occurred. After over two years of dealing with them, I was forced to start over with another company. Despite all this, they kept all the money they charged me.Tax Tiger

Interesting that you would post this and state that we did nothing, more or less, for over two years. When I actually pulled up your case and read two years worth of notes, the constant work with your Revenue Officer who was trying to levy you, preparing past due returns, and trying to get you into compliance and reach a resolution, I found it mind boggling you would write this. We wish you well, and have closed your case.

By ***** ****** the Tax Tiger Team resolved a past due debt to the *** of over 196K. ***** **** and her teammates worked tirelessly over the course of the settlement agreement process and finalized the offer in July of 2024. This company was paid to file our tax returns by taking $600 up front followed by $1200 then $600, then $600 ($3000 total) just to tell me to go file my taxes myself. I was told that they would reach out to the *** on my behalf. Then when I repeatedly said that I can't find my documents, they said, they are going to take $685ish more for unanswered tests that I sent to them. I guess that how they work with ********* Principles... so they advertise. I feel terrible that I still have to give them a star at all.Tax Tiger

Mr *****, Im very sorry that you feel this way, and apologize for such. I must also take a moment to respond accordingly to the entire scenario of where we are and why. You hired Tax Tiger in July of 2023 to prepare and file six years of back taxes. We then sent you tax organizers for each year, along with Power of Attorney forms for you and your wife to sign, so that we could obtain the *** records of your wages to assist us in confirming your income. After a few months, you sent only the Power of Attorney back but no tax related information. We continued to follow up so many times over the course of months it did not seem worth counting, until you finally told us that you had moved and stuff was in storage and that you were going through some rough personal issues, which we understand completely, and will work with you through, however, you seem to have placed blame on Tax Tiger for your failure to return documents or communicate with us. We empathize with your situation and will work with you, but you must put forth some effort as well. If you decide to move on, it is unfortunate,but we wish you well and hope everything gets resolved for you.

I spoke to many companies in this industry. Many of them are, in my opinion, liars and thieves who prey on people in tax trouble, even the ones with high ratings here and elsewhere. Tax Tiger was uniquely different. They gave me free guidance to solve my problem and said to call them back if that didn't work. Very rare to find a company like this.Tax Tiger

Words can't express how thankful I am to have met *******************. From the moment I walked into her office I felt completely at home. Over the last 6 months working with her, she has been nothing but kind, transparent, and positive to me and my family. I've told her on numerous occasions she has been like a guardian ****** guiding me forward.?I thought my life was absolutely over until I came across one of *****'s ads on the radio. I had been through several consultations with other companies who didn't care about my case and ultimately just wanted money. When I tell you ******************* genuinely cares about her clients, I mean it. She kept me at ease through the entire tax resolution process, through weekly calls, and several in-person meetings that provided a great deal of support I never knew was available.?I want to thank ***** and her amazing staff for everything they have done for me. I can't believe I am saying this - but I am glad that I was audited by the *** a couple of years ago! Yes, of course, it was stressful. Getting an audit letter from the *** is how nightmares begin. However, without the audit, I likely would not have heard or hired Tax Tiger. I did contact a few other tax attorneys prior to finding Tax Tiger, and they all just seemed disingenuous. That was not the case with Tax Tiger - ******** at Tax Tiger greatly helped me in dealing with the audit itself by patiently walking me through the entire process, which saved me big time! I gave them what I had and followed their direction. It worked out great. She also has been superb in handling my yearly tax filings for the last 2 years. This place should be getting 10 stars! 5 just isn't enough. Kudos to Tax Tiger as a whole for great communication and a special thanks to ******** for her professionalism, knowledge, and expertise.
