1 starEverything is way overpriced and it is a scam when you can go to ****** and buy the same stuff at half the cost with free shipping and not have to jump through hoops and try to prove over and over that you are a veteran and keep getting red tape. I didnt know this was overpriced and just a big scam. Somebody pointed it out to me and I compared all six items I was going to purchase to ****** and was horrified to see they literally were way over priced almost double the cost of Amazon for the same items !!! Shame on this operation for taking advantage of us veterans.Review fromJohn H

I placed an order for 2 Garmin Smart watches, one of which was a gift for my wife that was time sensative. I received an email 3 days later from GOVX customer support, "Mauro - Security Team" stating that they needed additional information regarding my order, Shipping, Billing Address and GOVX affiliation. I promptly respond back with the information. I get a follow up email the next day at 10:47 Pm stating that "*****" has canceled my order, stated that my order details are different than what was provided (my GOVX profile and order summary says otherwise) and requested that I "Expand on your GOVX affiliation. How did you register for GOVX." I've replied back to these emails with a copy of my Veteran ID card as well as my ***************** ID card at the time of registration. Now I'm stuck playing an unnecessary game of email tag, delaying the shipment of this gift even further, confused as to what even prompted these inquiries because "*****" was unnecessarily vague. This whole order experience has been incredibly unprofessional and a complete waste of time.GovX

Booked a room through Govx for my sons baseball tournament. Due to weather the team decided not to go. Called to cancel was well within the deadline for free refund. 7 days later still have not gotten our refund. Called 3 times keep being told they are waiting on word from their partners to see if a refund is possible. All the will say is i should hear something in 72 hrs. Would not advise anyone to use govx. From now on I will pay extra if I have to and book through someone else.GovX

My fiance and I booked a hotel room through govX, only to drive 5.5 hours away and find that the hotel had been permanently closed. We called govX and originally asked to just be moved to a comparable hotel in the area. They were of absolutely no help. The representatives barely understood English, and told us it was our loss because we couldnt cancel the room the day of. We called back, and a representative submitted a ticket for a refund, which they denied stating again, it was against policy to cancel the reservation the same day. We didnt cancel the room, it was non existent. The hotel is still listed as being able to book on their website. Id suggest staying far, far away from govX and their shady hotel deals. I have disputed the charge with my bank, and am hoping to resolve the issue that way. Thank the Lord we had enough extra funds with us to book a room elsewhere as we were visiting a relative at the ****************.GovX

This company was recommended to me and I purchased an item. I received a tracking number and monitored the shipment. I received an estimated delivery date on February 21st (which was yesterday). Upon review of my tracking it went from one hub in ****** to another hub in ******. It then went back to the original hub and stalled. Im in *******. I contacted the company and their response was, Well keep an eye on it. This response was not satisfying so on February 22nd I began a chat session with the company. Still no movement in the system. The person in the chat said they have a policy which says they must wait ************************************************************************* the meantime, they received payment yet the customer (me) is sitting in limbo with no answer other than wait and see what happens. HORRIBLE customer service if I have to wait 2 additional weeks before they even consider doing anything.Ill take my business elsewhere!GovX

I am an Active Duty Veteran and I attempt to verify myself thru GOVX several times for Wave of Honors. I used my Valid PCS Orders which was denied, I used my Valid LES which was denied and I used my identification card which was denied.I reached out to the customer service department several times with no response. This was a horrible experience.GovX

I booked a trip to ***** for November 2024. Unfortunately my husband (US Army Veteran) was in an accident and had to have surgery. Since we have two school aged kids, and my husband needs assistance, I had to cancel my trip. I contacted *************** and explained my situation and even though my ticket was non refundable they understood we needed the money to help pay for hospital bills. I thought GOVX is "dedicated to serving those who serve", would make the same exception & provide a refund. My first phone call was in Oct., I explained the situation to the ** agent(from the ***********) they put in a request for a refund but I would have to accept the penalty of the total cost of my hotel, refund or not. I made it clear I do not accept a penalty and asked if I could contact the hotel and ask to cancel and request a refund. The ** agent said yes. The hotel could not find my reservation in their system. The hotel couldn't put anything in writing without a reservation in their system. I've received many e-mails from GOVX saying they're working on my refund, called multiple times to check the status. Never accepted the penalty, obviously a ****. Yesterday, Veteran's Day ironically, a ** agent from the *********** call center, said the hotel couldn't find my reservation every time I called because they, GOVX, canceled it for me. Why did GOVX keep telling to contact the hotel and request for a refund and not inform me that they had cancelled my reservation? In addition, I was told I would receive a call from a supervisor yesterday. No call yet. I even called again last night, same thing, They'll have a supervisor call. No call yet. GOVX is a terrible company!!! How can they claim to being an organization that gives back to government workers?!?! I've had to do everything I can to get this refund and help pay for my husband's, a Veteran's, medical bills and this company will not only not help me they've waisted my time!!! Worst customer service experience ever!!!GovX

We used their website to book a hotel stay and the site kept freezing and eventually at checkout it frozen and ended up booking a random day rather than our selected day needed. We spoke with costumer service twice about canceling the incorrect date and were told they would take care of it and send the forms needed. We still have yet to receive our refund. This site has been a huge disappointment and we will not be using it again and will continue to let others know why.GovX

I am currently staying at a pretty expensive hotel for a vacation I don't get the chance to do so often because I work in law enforcement and the military. I booked two nights at a hotel at the beach and was trying to extend my night by one night. We'll I set my dates on the site and it kicked me out because I didn't add my name for the reservation everything was still prefilled out so I didn't think to check it but it changed the dates. So I basically booked two nights on the same day. After several times calling member services back and forth they denied helping me change it so I lost out on a day of vacation and $305 for a hotel I never used. This didn't feel like a service here for members it felt like a scam and my hard earned money lost and a special time with my family. I wouldn't recommend using this site. It's horrible treated like trash and my money was stolen.GovX
