I have never heard of this company before, but I received an email stating that I have signed up for an account and welcoming me. these were sent to my personal email. This indicates some sort of fraud to me. *** attempted to sever and close the said account and it lead me to a page where I had to enter my googlo account # and password. I was suspicious and did not login. I would like the account deleted, all my personal information expunged from their records, and for me to stop receiving emails from this company. I work for an advertising agency wanting to get in touch with a Nerdwallet business partnership or media contact on behalf of my banking client who WANTED to do business with them. I was looking for some information on how to apply to be included in the listings for high interest savings accounts and how to sponsor various media components. I reached out to their helpline and could not get an actual agent on the line. I reached out to random people I found on LinkedIn. I left a voicemail with human resources and I emailed the helpline at least 3 times. Not one single person has responded to me about my INQUIRY TO DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. Although Mr. ******* previously unsubscribed from marketing emails, his NerdWallet account was still active. As a result, we included him in our privacy policy update email. I am rejecting this response because:
No, Kim L and Cori gave the same pathetic copy-and-paste answer! They said me visiting the site is what caused the unwanted emails; in other words, the site automatically steals your personal data so they can make money off it via marketing! They both previously claimed that my email would no longer receive unwanted emails, but that was obviously a lie! They are both incompetent morons!

3/27/24 I used NerdWallet to browse options for Debt Consolidation Loans and it routed me automatically to 5k loans which based on your BBB website has been reported for scams. This was extremely unprofessional and completely unnecessary of NerdWallet to subject me and any other consumer to any kind of scam. Although I was lucky enough not to get too far into entering details, 5k loans does have my name, telephone number, and email. So I would also like NerdWallet to never contact me as well. This indicates some sort of fraud to me. Ive since received 3 more emails indicating suspicious login activity, and a password reset. Thank you for forwarding ** this complaint. Upon receipt, we unsubscribed the customer's email address from our distribution list and then deactivated his account. The customer should no longer be receiving emails. If he continues to have issues, or has any other concerns, please let us know.

I received an email from Nerdwallet regarding signing up with this company and they used the name *******, and thanking him for joining. I have never dealt with this company and dont know who this ******* is. *** tried to contact this company with no avail. Obviously this is fraud and I would like this company to unsubscribe me and find out if someone opened an account in my name. I have researched this company and read complaints.Business response

We understand ********************** frustration. For additional context, the most common causes for a NerdWallet account being unknowingly created with an email are:
(1) The customer visited a page from the ********************** website and clicked on the one tap sign-in pop-up, creating a NerdWallet account
(2) If someone mistyped their own email address and their incorrect address was your actual email address; or
(3) If the customer filled out the form on our website to see personalized loan rates from our lending partners.
Again, that account has been closed and you should no longer receive any email communication from us.Thanks,
