    Company called nerd wallet I called their customer support They said the only way to delete the account and the card which I have been trying to delete for over 6 months and you can't delete the The account until you delete the card They said to delete the card You have to email support I've emailed support over the last 6 months requesting to delete the card and the account which customer support said they would do after I emailed them after repetitive emails and an account that has been ongoing for 6 months there say I have a balance for a car that I've never used or received and that a balance has built up to $87 since the account was created when I originally requested to delete the card in the account there was nothing due there was nothing owed after 6 months of requesting it to be deleted and their direct refusal to delete the card and the account as well as my chime accounting number and routing number They have accessed my bank several times without my knowledge which has affected my chime account and the MyPay feature with chime because they've been submitting direct deposits and withdrawals without my authorization when I informed the of this and that I wanted to delete the card and the account They replied that they blocked the account that they consider it now suspicious since I've requested to delete it and are refusing to delete the store bank information the nerd wallet card and or account and refuse to take any further action I informed them that I would file a complaint with the better Business Bureau and the ************************************

    We received your request to close your NerdUp by NerdWallet Card ending in 6814 and associated deposit account ending in 4066. 
     
    We have now closed your accounts per your request.  Any funds remaining in your deposit account will be refunded in accordance with the account agreement after satisfying all fees and other amounts due.

    I have received over 200+ calls from NerdWallet trying to give me a small business loan. Ive asked them repeatedly to stop but they still continue their predatory behavior.

    This company says it will give you rate comparisons for auto insurance. In fact it gave me exactly one option which had a rate 4 times higher than any other company that I had researched on my own.Realizing this was a predatory company that existed to retain personal data for their own use, I rsent a equest to opt out.Instead of honoring that request, I was given a link to yet another form that collected more personal data. However, that webpage was dysfunctional and submission required a phone number to send me a code. That code never arrived and I was told to call them.THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE and ILLEGAL. These data predatory companies offer nothing for consumers, are using our data for their own gain, putting us at risk for identity theft and fraud. Then they do not honor our opt out requests as REQUIRED BY LAW. It is possible some may be able to get through the hoops, but I was unable.I demand they delete all of my data, do not sell my data, do not share my data IMMMEDIATELY.

    Tried more than 20x to unsubscribe and to no avail I get hundreds of emails from them still. If it doesnt stop looking into legal action

    This company said I set up a NERD wallet account. I did not. They have to disclose when they tie themselves to a website for comparison of insurance pricing. There was no disclosure. Now they claim I set up an account. There emails say I can turn the account off if I follow certain instructions. Those instruction are false and and the aility to turn the account off doesn't exist.

    Thank you for forwarding us this customer complaint.  Mr. ********* created an account on December 16, 2024.  When accessing NerdWallet's website to compare insurance quotes certain information is requested from the consumer and certain disclosures are made by NerdWallet.  One of those disclosures is that by continuing with the service you will be creating an account.  The consumer is also given the option of proceeding without creating an account.

    In light of Mr. ********* BBB complaint, on December 17th, we deactivated the account.  This should address his concern.

    I wanted to use nerdwallet's online service to compare loan rates for credit card consolidation and before I had even touched anything, I was receiving emails about loan applications filed without my consent. This is a huge breach of trust and consent. If this affects my credit report negatively in any way I need it fixed because I did not consent for them to send applications on my behalf. I only wanted to look at rates from available financiers.

After receiving this complaint, we researched our records and it was determined that Ms. ******* accessed NerdWallet on or about November 21st.  She was then matched with Upstart and likely began receiving adverse action notices, which are not loan applications. Our customer service team has informed Ms ******* of this, and at her request, we have deactivated her account.

    The website is predatory and only serves to gather your personal information for marketing purposes. I went through the website and entered my details to see a list of loans I might qualify for, as the web pages imply. After answering numerous questions regarding personal details associated with soft credit pulls, it stated someone would call me in two minutes. I never asked for anyone to call me. No loan options stated. My phone has not stopped ringing over the past four hours. I can not get them to stop. I'm tired of blocking numbers. This is ridiculous and I will 100% intentionally avoid all services that advertise or use Nurd Wulurt as a median.Also take note that all of the complaints on here are typically followed up with "we do not have a record of you being a customer." Do not contact me. Remove my information.

    Thank you for forwarding us this customer complaint. This consumer visited ********************** on November 14, 2024.   His account was deactivated that same day, and he will no longer receive any communications from NerdWallet.  NerdWallet's user operations informed the consumer as follows:

    Thanks for reaching out to NerdWallet. Im sorry to hear about this - I know how frustrating it can be to receive multiple calls from providers!

    For clarity, NerdWallets pre-qualification tool is designed to match you with a lender or lenders that fit your needs amongst a network of different providers. Once youve progressed far enough through the application process, your information is shared with these lenders for review to determine if they are able to provide you with a loan.
    Because of this, it isn't uncommon for users to separately hear from more than one of our lending partners' representatives.
    Please note that while you have been unsubscribed from NerdWallet communications, we can not remove any records from our lending partners systems. If youre looking to stop future communications from them, I can recommend reaching out to the lender directly with your request.

    Nerd wallet offered to show me quotes if I clicked a button. I did and did not see any insurance quotes. I saw links to other companies websites. I was then informed I had an account with nerd wallet because I clicked the link. I wanted to cancel "my account" that I never signed up for. They have not given me a password or the option to set a password in order to access "my account" So I was assigned an account that I DO NOT WANT AND I CAN NOT ACCESS THIS ACCOUNT TO CANCEL IT!!!!!!!!!"

    I was scammed by nerd wallet and I have tried to get my money back, but they say Zen ****** doesn't work for them, I sent them all the phone numbers,and told them I had the check he put in my account, the bank flagged my accounts and closed them, it was only for 400 dollars so the bank said I have to pay them back, and the lawyer said it was below 500 dollars so they can't help me, told **** at nerd wallet that I want them to send me a money order plus extra for my suffering and embarrassing with the bank, I had to call SS and have them send it to my address I'm sure you can't help me with my loss but at least I can file a complaint against them so they don't do this to anyway one else and make others aware of nerd wallet.thank you!

Zen ****** does not, and has never, worked at NerdWallet.  Given this fact, it appears that Ms. ********* was the victim of a job scam whereby a bad actor (Zen ******) claimed to be a NerdWallet employee and got Ms. ********* to deposit a phony check that the bank reversed charges on. We have previously informed Ms. ********* that there is Zen ****** employed at NerdWallet, nor has there ever been.  In short, NerdWallet had no role in the scheme in which Ms. ********* is complaining about.

    This company keeps sending junk emails after repeated attempts to UNSUBSCRIBE. In addition, I have never subscribed to any of their emails. Dishonest, predatory company that should be shut down.
