I am a restaurant owner that is in business with Doordash for to go orders deliveries. *************************** who is a senior strategic executive convinced me to join their delivery platform after having bad experiences with doordash in the past. I have Email conversation where ****** signed me up for their Premier Package. This deal included being on the largest delivery radius. When I finally agreed to join I was Offered $1500 sign on bonus to lock the deal plus 120-day promotional period with 0% commission slit. No issues here until the promotional period ended and I was Dropped to a 6 mile delivery radius. Which per my contract I should Be on the largest delivery radius. My sales dropped significantly since the delivery radius was so low. Called doordash more than 6 times trying to get this fixed. No one was able to help me. I reached out to ****** several times with no success. Finally after about 2 months to trying to get someone to fix this ****** left me a voicemail saying he would fix this issue since I was On the premier package. Weeks passed by and issue was not fixed until June 19th, 2023 I sent ****** an email stating I would be suing Doordash for not honoring my contract. Immediately the issue was fixed. Fast forward to the week of 7/24/23 my delivery radius was dropped again. Called doordash 7/29/23 to get this issue fixed and again no one was able to help me. I will now be seeking legal action as I have Lost a lot money since customers Can no longer order food from my business. Doordash needs to be help accountable for not honoring my contract and making me loose a lot of money.Business Response

After reviewing your account I can see that your delivery radius has been set to the maximum range by your dedicated Merchant Experience Partner. Delivery radius is dynamic based on multiple factors - consumer demand, cuisine type, traffic, dasher availability, etc. This radius is set to preserve consumer satisfaction and food quality. Each area is assigned a designated maximum radius which is subject to change. As an example, a store in *********** might have a maximum delivery radius of 2 miles because it can take 30 minutes to go the 2 miles, while other areas might have a larger maximum radius because it might take 5 minutes to drive the same 2 miles somewhere outside of LA. We constantly review approximate drive times for all areas to make sure we're able to get customers the best product possible.The maximum delivery radius for your area specifically is set to just over 6 miles and cannot be extended any further than that at this time.

Door Dash continues to provide poor service. They always mess up orders and mix up deliveries. I have made the decision to discontinue my use of anything associated with them. I am expecting a full refund for an order that was recently placed with the ************* app.Business Response

Unfortunately, in the case of this order, because the order was purchased and made payable to Steak'n Shake, a refund can only be processed from them. On 7/28/23 I placed an order on Doordash. The retail store was Target. My order number is 1fae1e22-27f4-41a4-8d23-494f261dce60 . The total charge was $76.21, but I was only refunded $26. The representatives reimbursed me inaccurately. I ordered an "All in Motion 18" H x 6" W x 18" D High Density Foam Roller," but was delivered a "Gaiam foam roller," which is entirely different from what I had asked for. I also requested "3x Clorox Ultra Clean Bleach Toilet Tablets (2 ct)" but was provided with Scrubbing Bubbles drop-in, which is not what I had chosen. Furthermore, I had purchased "1x Clorox Splash Less Disinfecting Bleach (117 oz)" and was instead delivered Up&Up bleach, again differing from my original order. Lastly, instead of the "************************* (20 oz)" I ordered, I received mustard.The entire order I received is incorrect, and I refuse to pay any charges for it. I am puzzled as to why I was given a $26 credit instead of a full refund, which I find unacceptable.Business Response

DoorDash is refusing to refund me an order that the driver admitted to not being able to deliver, and that support admitted it was not coming. I was literally told by support that my order wasnt coming and that I was not being refunded for it..On July 24th 2023 I ordered ********* on DoorDash. After the dasher was there for probably 30 minutes support told me that the dasher confirmed that somebody else picked up my order and ********* didn't have it and it wouldn't be delivered. Support told me it was not being delivered and to reach out at 5:25am for a refund. When I contacted them the horrible and disgusting support team at DoorDash refused to help and instead made me wait on hold then told me they were transferring it to a team to determine whether or not I can get a refund (when the last support agent told me I could and told me it wasn't being delivered). They also refused to allow me to remove my tip from the order?? When your supposed to be able to.Also on July 22 2023 I ordered ********* and my Oreo McFlurry was missing, I called the store they said the icecream machine broke, I told support they could call the store and confirm this, they refused to listen.DoorDash again scamming its customers. I'm requesting DoorDash refunds me the order and apologizes to me for their unprofessional behavior and misconduct. I literally have over ***** orders on DoorDash and have less then ********************************************************************************************************* total my refund should be about $24. I am rejecting this response because:
DoorDash once again is refusing to refund me, when their own support members admitted that the food was not going to arrive and that the driver was unable to get it, yet still marked the order as delivered. At this point DoorDash is just admitting to stealing my money and refusing to do anything about it.
Please let me know if you are admitting to stealing my money and not giving me anything in return by responding with "We admit that your order was never delivered and we've made the choice to steal your money and deny you a refund.".

Ive been charged for dash pass for the last 3 months without my knowledge. I cancelled back in April apparently we were still being charged for it. We dont have any emails mentioning the charge from door dash or the subscription. So today we cancelled it again and we still havent arent getting the confirmation for canceling the service. It seem like theyre trying to force us to stay with there service and wont let us cancel. Ive checked my email and the last email I have is them saying they miss us and offering 50% off our next 3 orders back in April, other then that email my last email from them was 6/5/2022. so clearly our account was cancelled, and it shouldnt be active since they miss us. On 7/29, I placed an order on DoorDash. After waiting and excessive amount of time for my 3 subs, I get a phone call from a door dash employee attempting to enter into my gated community. He didnt speak any English and it was very frustrating because he kept yelling at me that I gave him wrong code and when I would say something he would say he doesnt speak any English. After several minutes he was able to figure it out, then when I received my order it was a 25 dollar order from Bolay - this was not my order. I ordered Jersey ***** and the total was $62.00. I called **************** and they gave me a refund of the amount I paid and I placed a second order - the second order came much quicker but with the same problem of the employee not speaking any English and had difficulty getting into gate telling my the code os wrong ( which it wasnt). I received my food but my sons order - the Turkey sub was not accurate. Being that I had so much inconvenience I dont feel like I should have to pay for this order. My husband came home for lunch and had to go back to work hungry because this issue hadnt been resolved timely and my son didnt want the sub that they gave him because it was incorrect. The door dash agent only offered me $10.00 credit - to me this totally unacceptable-after what I had to deal with they should be refunding my full bill of $62.00.Business Response

We can see that you were provided credits as a refund for your canceled order on July 12th, 2023. Those credits were used to place your Sonic order on July 12th, 2023.
When you reported that you preferred a refund back to your original form of payment via your BBB Claim ********, we provided a courtesy refund back to your original form of payment. We had to provide credits and then exchange those credits for a refund. That is why you received an email about receiving credits.

I made a purchase from ******* on the DoorDash App. Two cases of water on 7/29/23. The delivery instructions were to knock on my door/ring doorbell and hand the order to me. The driver messaged me that she was here, but never knocked or called. She took a picture of the two cases of water sitting on a curb somewhere in my apartment complex. There was no discrepancy with my address as I had just placed and received another order 20 minutes or so before and that delivery person followed instructions. Though my water from this second order has not been delivered. I contacted DoorDash and the offered me a total of $16.77 in credits. I requested they deliver my order or give me a full refund. I will dispute this with my bank, however, this whole experience has taken up my time and peace. Not to mention the complete inconvenience. They expected me to pay for a delivery fee, tax, and the tip that was originally offered upon delivery of goods that was not actually delivered. I spent over an hour going back and forth with their agents whom offered me no solution other that those credits mentioned above. Placed an order today totaling at $29.53 from *******. I ordered oxtail with rice and peas, and a bottle of water. The restaurant was careless and gave my driver someone else' order. I had received a platter of stew chicken with white rice, that was it. I had tried to receive compensation through the app, but was denied. I was given this message, "We are sorry to hear that you had a disappointing experience using our service. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide any compensation due to the amount of recently processed compensation on your account." This is obviously incorrect as I have never requested for compensation on my account before. Calling customer service to speak to someone is useless as well.
