I ordered through their app from a *******'s subs for a total of $52.11 and they canceled it 1 minute later then said I'd have to wait 5-8 business days to get my money back. I then settled on a ********** order and waited 20minutes or so only to get someone else's order which was fish and other things I will not eat. I lost $36.20 on this order too. I contacted to have them redeliver and was told to wait 3 hours. In 1 hour they canceled their investigation and never mailed me. Even the dasher apologized to ** but they company won't stand behind their service when it was completely wrong on every part of the order. I am so angry with door dash I've canceled my membership and won't be ordering from them again. I want my money back. This is robbery.Business Response

Doordash is charging fees although I've already paid for a subscription which covers any fees that would be charged. I believe the reason they are charging them is because I deleted my account and reinstated it later. Nonetheless I paid for the subscription and should not be charged. I believe this is happening too many customers in the same situation.Business Response

On 5/4/2023 about 10:55PM I order some food from Steak and Shake to be delivered by Door Dash, the driver waited for next order before delivering the food, dropped the order off first at the other location then drove right past my street taking the long way around adding addition wait time and ruining the food. The driver lack of concern about the customer and the unnecessary delay in delivering my food I texted the driver and told him not to bother that I would call Door Dash for a refund, He per their policy he delivered it anyway. Door Dash would not provide me with a refund for food I could no longer eat, You can't reheat fast food and expect it to be good. They claim they would give me a credit of $31 and in a few minutes it had dropped to $21 and the agent denied ever saying they would credit $31. The last time they offered a credit was for $11 but it turned out to be $1 which disappeared as this may. I demanded to speak with a manger and was told a manger would not be available for 3 hours then I would be called back, There was no call back. I want the full amount of money returned to my not part in fake credit. I paid with money I expect money back. This is just bad all around, delivery service and customer service. This is ********************** responsibility, completely, they hire the contract drivers so whatever the drivers does is on Door Dash. I am rejecting this response because: Not sure what, in line, is suppose to mean, other than an excuse to justify not refunding the money. The amount of fake money offered is certainly not what I paid nor is it how I paid. I paid with a credit card same as cash. I expect the money (full amount) to be refunded back to my credit card. I have no plans on using Door Dash services in the future so a credit for any amount is worthless to me. One might think Door Dash would take full responsibility for not delivering what was ordered. This however, does not seem to be the case, perhaps we should be working with another individual that is interested in making an honest effort to solve the issue and not attempt to use self serving company policies or statements to justify not refunding money.

DOOR DASH is very good at collecting money but with bad customer service practices! It has been twice already that I have placed large lunch orders for me and my coworkers and the restaurant make a mistake and charges for food and the food is not delivered complete even though we paid for the food items. I call the restaurant and the restaurant says they can not do anything about it, that we need to file a complaint with Door Dash for the refund. I contact door dash and they refuse to refund me for the missing food items as well. I'm very surprised and cannot understand in which right mind is it fair to pay a business, any business for services not rendered nor delivered?Business Response

I spoke with door dash on an order placed on March 31'st. I spoke with door dash and told them I live in a very small town........ Its hard to get tood people to deliver your food. Thats just how it is in a small town. *** had them misdeliver many times and door dash knows what the front of my house looks like as a rep asked me to send that to her, and it did not match up with the pictures the dashers had delivered to in the past. Now I will say it has gotten much better since I started using door dash and 90% of the time my order is right. Also, if theres something as simple as lets say onions on a burger, and I did not order that, I will never call in about something that small nor complain.... but I had an incident where an order was wrong. This was a decent amount of money even though that does not matter but I guess it makes it a little more important.... ********** ordered captain *** on Mar 31'st for me and a few friends. the dasher was so nice and *** had him before. The order war wrong though... He went back to get the correct order (very nice of him, he could have just left me with what he brought me) but when he went back they had closed..so I go no food and paid over 80 dollars for this.... like I said, in the past I have skipped over wrong ingridents and stuff like that..... its a small town... I get it.... its not gonna be perfect... but I can't spend 80 dollars on food and get nothing... we need to take care of that and also take care of the time I spent on the phone. Ive had over 5 calls with them about this, each over 30 minuteus because you get transferreed from person to person..... ***** seems to want to listen or help,.,, and if you look,, on my account I spend a good bit of money for a single operson and dont complain much. Please help me get this fixed and lets see what we can do on the time Ive spent on the phone... On 5/3 at 6:15pm I ordered food from DoorDash. It took them over 45 minutes to knock on my door for the delivery. I heard a knock and received a text with a picture that my food was at the door, but when I opened the door there was no food there. I called DoorDash immediately to let them know my food had not been delivered. They kept me on the phone for over 45 minutes. I put my 12 yo and 16 yo children on the phone to also let the customer service rep know that my food had not been delivered. It was taking so long that I placed the same order with Uber Eats so we could eat. My kids ate by 9:30pm that night.DoorDash stated that since the Dasher took a picture I had to go through a Specialized Team which was not reachable and they promised a callback within 3 hours. I received an email promising the same. 3 hours later I received another email stating that they were busy and I would get a callback in another 3 hours. I did not want to miss their call so I stayed to 1am waiting. There was never a call as promised. I waited all day the next day and called them back at 4pm. Again, they said there was nowhere to transfer and I would have to wait for a callback. There was no callback. A few hours later without even talking to me I get an email from that Team that upon reviewing the amount that I order with them, etc they will be denying my claim and keeping my $70. This is robbery. I never got food. They provided no service and they are keeping my money. I called again today to complain about the email and am getting the same run around- I do not understand why because someone took a picture why I am a liar. I am rejecting this response because:The dasher took a picture therefore DoorDash is stating I got my food, but I did not. A picture does not prove I got the food. She must have taken a picture & then taken my food. She knocked & by the time I made it to my door there was no food there. She had stolen it.
I also am rejecting because I've been told 6 times I'd hear from a supervisor and I have not. I also set up an appeal with DoorDash and have gotten no response. I'm not paying $67.33 for food I never received.

I called them on the spot they said they tried to issue a refund but was unable to and would send my complaint to higher up. They sent a email 5/5/2023 stating they couldn't issue me a refund with no reason why or do to discovery whatever that means. I paid $26.58 on a order that was the wrong order. I ask if they could return my order and send me the right order they said the store was closed! I'm ****** at this point on the horrible way they handled this and then refusing to give back my money is a form of theft. My husband and I were truly trying to resolve this issue with our ************************. And then during chats with multiple live agents. However, it has come to this. On Sunday, April 30th, we had a $70.85 food order that we placed through DoorDash. The automated address was incorrect by 1.5 miles so we corrected it through the Dasher chat option immediately. The Dasher ignored it. We corrected it again. The Dasher then said we owed him more money and sent a picture of the "delivered" food in his front seat. That is one of the pictures attached. Needless to say, we never received our $70.85 order and have been credited $17.71 in DoorDash credits. A 2.4% refund is unacceptable. And I am concerned as to why defending a Dasher who blatantly lied (it's in the picture!) is more important than keeping customers. Please let ** know how to proceed to get this money back, as a money-hungry (and, I guess, very HUNGRY!) ****** is still delivering for you.Business Response
