I cancelled this order and continued to send emails asking questions. It had not shipped and they said they would not cancel it and when I said I was going to dispute the charge they instantly shipped it.Business Response

Automatic renewal well before I was done with first order and never received a notification about it renewing. Businesses nowadays send emails about everything so youd think a reminder of this would be included. Immediately after seeing the email that the order was shipped, reached out requesting that the order be cancelled as well as subscription. Hims immediately replied that there is nothing they can do (tons of other online retailers including ****** allow you to cancel order for free well after placing it and before shipping.)Business Response

I was not informed prior to my auto renewal -I did not realize that this function is not being deactivated despite I clearly remember cancelling it. When I wanted to cancel before they shipped out, they stated their no refund policy. I'm looking for a refund since this is the second time they do it to me.Business Response

In November of 2024 I first ordered a prescription for hair growth from Hims - a 3 months of supply. When they arrived I decided that I don't want and need to take the prescription due to side effects, and would accept to eat the cost of the prescription. However, I had no idea I was being signed up for a reoccurring subscription. Come to today, 4/6/25, where I see a charge for $175 for this perscription. I immediately check the Hims account to try to cancel the order as it's still 'processing'. I find out there is no way to cancel or receive a refund for an order without canceling the prescription 2 days before its set to reoccur. I'm furious as I received zero communication that I was even on a reoccurring subscription, zero communication that an order was about to be placed, and zero communication that I was ever charged. I found all this out from my bank statement, no notification from the company. This is unacceptable for a company of this size and its perceived mission to help people. They offer no way to cancel order, no way to contact a representative, and offer zero communication abiut upcoming orders.Business Response

On Oct 19th 2025 I made a $132 purchase with them. They put me on a 3-month subscription. The product was great but I didnt need any more so I stopped the subscription. The third month came and went fine with no shipping but on the sixth month they restarted the subscription without me asking or notifying me by them charging me $132 on April 1 2025.On top of that when they restarted the subscription they used another card I used with them for another purchase instead of the card actually associated with this purchase which I found unusual and sketchy. I reached out to them via an inefficient chat process that took all day and just got generic prewritten responses and no help. I hate I ever did business with them now because Im worried they will charge whatever card number they can get their hands on at random times just because Ive done previous business with them and Ill have no recourse.Business Response

I have used hims and have been under the impression that my subscription was cancelled. They make it incredibly hard to cancel and I was only notified it wasnt when I received a shipping notification. This is very predatory and very wrong.Business Response

Last year I started a subscription with hims and on march 16th I asked for a cancellation of my account via email. I received no response and was charged for the full subscription on April 5th. I am a struggling college student and won't make rent if this is not resolved.Business Response

I placed an order for hair growing pills from HERS for $35 a month not knowing they were going to charge me for a 5 month supply at $175. After realizing this I immediately canceled the order and was then told that I could not get a refund after canceling. They shipped the pills out to me and now I am being told I am stuck with pills I will never use for $175. This company is such a scam.Business Response
