I was not aware that I was still subscribed to Hims and there is no way to get a refund anywhere I can find. It hasn't even been fulfilled by the pharmacy yet, but I can't cancel it. I have since canceled the subscription, but I still want a refund.Business Response

Transaction date and amount:March 5th 2025, $175.00 I was bamboozled when I saw this transaction on my statement because as per my knowledge I had cancelled my subscription on the app months ago and deleted the app from my phone. I haven't even been using the product for months as it worsened my scalp condition after consistently and religiously using their product (hims ********* and *********** compound spray treatment). I installed the app again today after seeing the transaction and surprise surprise they didn't cancel my subscription and they still have my payment information and there's no way to remove it from there even after "cancelling" my subscription AGAIN! This is ridiculous. I called their customer care and they don't even apologise for their inconvenience. They straight up say we can't process refunds and we can't stop your delivery this time and will cancel your next one. I don't believe them. I expect my records to be off their platform and my money back in my account. Their treatment has caused me to go enough into a spiral of almost hitting clinical depression and loss of self confidence and appearance. I'm not the only one facing this problem. I've heard they do this with everyone. And the subscription cancellation has not worked for others in the past too. I need a refund and I don't want their product sent to me. Also, I only have the recent cancellation screenshot as I had not expected this to happen last time so didn't take a screenshot last time.Business Response

I ordered a prescription a year ago and Hims places it on an automatic renewal. Now a year later, and with no warning, I receive a notice of a new charge for $264 on my AMEX. I immediately contacted customer support indicating that I do not want this prescription and please cancel the order. HIMS refused, claiming that as it is already processing it cannot be reversed, although the shipment has not yet been sent. I again requested that it be cancelled and the charge reversed. HIMS refused. This appears to be a marketing tactic by HIMS to increase sales to unwitting customers who no longer have use for their products. Buyers beware that Hims will continue to charge your card without warning.Business Response

On 3/8/2025, Hims charged me for another dosage of a perscription I didn't order. It had me on auto renew which I didn't realize and certainly would not have partaken in. I looked all over there site to cancel, delete my credit card, delete my account and I can find NOTHING. My item is being shipped and I will not open it and send it back ASAP. I've seen this complaint multiple times on BBB recently with the exact same complaint by customers. I want my money back and my account to be deleted immediately. I would do it on their site but there is no way to cancel it that I can find. It should be the easiest most straightforward option. As easy as signing up. Extremely predatory. Please rectify this with a refund and make it MUCH easier to cancel. As well as text messages warning that a prescription is being filled before you move forward. Insane.Business Response

On 12/12, I had made an adjustment to my treatment to skip a few months and start again in March. Being a few months, I had forgotten about the subscription and expected to receive a reminder before the refill/charge occured. No reminder was provided or sent, I learned of the charge from a notification from my credit card.I called as Hims support soon as I saw that charge but support was gone for the evening. I called the next morning (today, 3/8) to cancel the order that shows created 3/8/25 but told they can't cancel because it has already gone to the pharmacy for filling. All while support is saying I should have stayed "connected" to my account to make any changes prior to the refill. Noting, they need to be notified 48 hours before the refill/change. Why not provide the same respect to your patients?Additionally, after getting this charge, I went to cancel my subscription. I consider myself pretty tech savvy and I was having issues finding the cancel option. Often being sent in a circle between my account and the site's help section. Making this feel like a trap to keep patients subscribed.I have no need, or want, for the product or treatment at this time. Company charged me without advanced notice. Charged $395 on March 6th. Was only notified AFTER product was shipped, so they will not allow me to ask for a refund. I should have been notified and allowed to cancel the shipment before being charged.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:There was no effort to contact before the shipment or charging. If there was, I would have been able to cancel my subscription in a timely manner before it was shipped and we could have solved this easily. However, I was only informed AFTER the shipment was sent. Due to this, I will be proceeding with my credit card dispute. $400 for an unreturnable product should not be sent without acknowledging the charge beforehand.

I had no idea my medication would auto ship randomly after 5 months. I didnt shut it off and they refuse to cancel order and refund the amount I payed. I payed $395 which is a lot to come out of my account without being ready for it. I dont need more product and Im super unhappy. I simply dont need it shipped to me I just want my refund. I didnt understand that this would happen. And they are not being helpful whatsoever. They said its too late but it hasnt even shipped yet. Its just being prepared. Date of Transaction: 3/7/2024 Amount Paid: $264.00 Business Name: HIMS Nature of the Complaint:On March 7th, HIMS charged me $264.00 for a yearly subscription renewal without my knowledge or consent. The company claims they sent a reminder email before processing the charge, but I never received any such notification. Had I been properly informed, I would have canceled the renewal in advance.Additionally, despite charging me, the order status still shows as "Preparing Shipment" rather than "Shipped," which indicates that the order has not been fulfilled yet. Since the item has not been sent out, I requested a refund. However, HIMS has refused to provide one, citing their policy.Attempts to Resolve the Issue:I reached out to HIMS customer service to request a refund, given that:I never received the renewal reminder they claim to have sent.The order has not yet been shipped, meaning there is no loss to the company in canceling it.Despite this, the company has refused to issue a refund, leaving me with a charge I did not knowingly authorize.Resolution Requested:I am requesting a full refund of $264.00, as I was not properly informed about the renewal and the order has not yet been fulfilled. I have been using hers for ***********. I initially was paying month to month. I decided to opt for a three-month purchase. At the time, I thought I would be prompted for renewal after the three months started. Over the course of taking the medication for three months, I continued to have issues and adverse effects. I worked with the team, but ultimately decided I would not renew. I was surprised when I saw a charge for $900 come through. I immediately reached out to the team, saying that this was a medication that I could no longer take because of adverse effects. They said there is nothing at all they can do. I do not believe this. Now I am either stuck with taking a medication that makes me ill, or throwing $900 down the drain. This isn't a small purchase, and my side effects were significant. The company of course cancelled my subscription after the charge had already gone through. I am hoping that someone can resolve this for me.Business Response
