This app has no contactable customer service, it asks if youd like to contact customer service and then asks if you found it helpful right after doing nothing, same with their dedicated feedback form blue link which sends you right back to the drop-down menu selection page. This is clearly intentional as is closing unresolved claims on their BBB which ought to be lower. They suspended my account over disrespect that wasnt disrespectful and was clearly from members of the community that decided on their own that they did not like me and made up reasons for it including my harassing them even though they contacted me first and made false claims about how often I was posting. I tried to resolve things civilly despite their disrespect in these instances and then blocked them when they continued to be contrarian and snide or even threatening with me in the case of how often I posted. I requested an appeal and they had it denied to which I read up on what exactly constitutes disrespectful in the apps eyes just to reconfirm from before that it was the activity I was receiving not what I was putting out. Not only was there no inflammatory language and politeness but also citation of abuse resources that got removed by the person who suggested that anyone who does get abused is young and naive to which I informed them it could happen to anyone and she didnt like that either. I shouldnt have to get so much ***** just for respectfully speaking my mind which the app claims to support but encourages hostility of popularity contesters instead. Nothing came of my reports despite them falling in line against their own written standards and again there is no other way for me to file any kind of complaint than this which is incredibly demeaning and at least borderline fraudulent in itself. There is also an automated system for disrespectful language that suggests a better way to which I did take the one time I got edgy and could see why it suggested it. I have been receiving "invitations" to join their service, and they have been incredibly specific, knowing my name, my address, my email address, the names of my children and my wife. I'm scared for how they were able to get all of that information, and when I asked them about it, they gave me some vague accusations of me being "confused". I am afraid for the well-being and security of my family, and I would like to know how they were able to put all of those pieces together, and how that's allowed?Business Response

next door quite regularly engag Abusive content moderation, And theres literally no way to report it or have anything done about it. They regularly keep people from posting pets that they would like to rehome, as if its somehow better to leave a pet homeless on the street then find it a new home.. In this case, theyre trying to remove somebody simply posting a photo of their new puppy.. since when Cant people post photos of their puppies?? An app should not allow their moderators to be abusive towards those who use it, and it happens all the time with ever increasing frequency.. And people are provided no avenue of reporting it or getting it resolved so that it stops.Business Response

The NEXTDOOR business ads dont offer a way to discontinue them. I was consecutively charged ***** twice a month even though I constantly attempted to cancel. They do not offer an easy way to cancel. Even when I did find a way to cancel after trying over and over again, they still charged me. I am so frustrated. **************** is non-existent.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because I never got anyone in the phone in 6 months to insure that the ad was cancelled as I had asked. The company has made it impossible to use their website to change or dispute anything. The customer service is animated or run by a BOT. I was charged almost ****** over a 6 month period even though I requested to cancel after the first month.Thus, I asked in writing for someone to contact or call me. This was never done.
This is a travesty and Nextdoor is completely okay with taking my money with zero regard for the customers needs or desires.
Nextdoor has no accountability. There is no such thing as putting the customers needs first.
I would never recommend this company to anyone.

This site is a major problem there is people selling animals not just one or two im talking about one after the other i have messaged admin and they shut my page down. I have asked people to please spay and neuter but get reported for that is crazy this site/App need to be shut down. The bullying is out of control. I have a friend that killed her self after being bullied on this site not action was taken when i brought the problem up to admin shut it down im not stopping this course of action they need to be held accountable for their disregard of human life and animal life. The nature of the dispute is that Nextdoor has been allowing a person to post liable about a business, the owner, and now his wife (me) for the last 4-5 years without music consequence.I have tried to contact anyone at Nextdoor, only resulting in the leads in our neighborhood. I am rejecting this response because:Nextdoor is telling me to keep filing complaints about the neighbor who has posted libel and public shaming for the last 4 plus years. We have reported her at least ***** times in the past and she always returns to post her lies and fabricated stories.
It appears that she is ONLY temporarily suspended from Nextdoor and not permanently which is what would be considered fair.If they would look at the history of this neighbors posts, they would see that she has done the same to many others. She posts their full names to public shame. This is her pattern and entirely a violation of Nextdoor policy and guidelines.
Before she was temporarily suspended, she blocked my husband and me so that we are unable to see what she is posting. We wont be able to file a complaint if we cant see what she is posting.
Why do I have to continually report this person when you have the ability to remove her permanently?

On 8/3/24, I received a notice on my Nextdoor app that I could not proceed, as my account was suspended until 9/3. I determined this was because I commented stupid ?? in a private group that my friend runs. It was his post, and another friend commented WTF and my comment was in agreement to both friends, regarding the news article. I disputed the suspension; as I was in no way calling anyone stupid. It was in reference to the news article we were discussing. However, I received no notice, but upon opening the app again today, it said I was now only banned until August 18th for bullying. Who am I bullying? I appealed again, and basically now it says it was determined i violated community guidelines. How? By agreeing with the poster/my friends? I do not understand. If stupid is a banned word in your app, please state that and I will not use it at all.Business Response

I had made a business acct on the Nextdoor app. I realized I wanted my business attached to my personal acct to make things easier to access. I am rejecting this response because:I replied several times to Nextdoor showing them the private email the acct was under. Screen shots/copy-paste of the emails w the email address they asked for. When using a duck.com address it wont show up in the field..thats the whole idea, to avoid tracking. They cant understand that, not the most intelligent group of employees.
I have no desire to spend any of my time further into this matter. I found one somewhat intelligent being from their company to honor my requests for my business acct. The situation is over for me, but they arent a reputable company to deal with..at all.
