    Nextdoor provides community guidelines that they themselves don't adhere too. They are obviously extreme left leaning politically which shows by allowing politically hot button issues such as abortion to be posted but delete any prolife posts. They allow comments on prolife posts that shame, degrade, name call and provide misinformation but any corrections on the misinformation are deleted. I am a conservative like the majority of Arkansas and most of my neighbors are the same. The leads apparently are not and want to only acknowledge the opinions of liberals like themselves. My suspicions are that the posters that are pushing their agenda and deleting anything they don't agree with ARE the leads. I understand Nextdoor is rapidly losing money and I think I understand why. Especially in a very ***************** like ********.

    I just received an email from Nextdoor. They said my ad is now live. I never asked for or purchased an ad to be published on Nextdoor. I will not pay for any ad.

    I have tried to deactivate my account and turn off any /all communication with Nextdoor. They continue to email me and their unsubscribe button does not work on their emails. The link goes nowhere and I am unable to stop these incessant emails. Please help! Thank you!

    I paid NEXTDOOR to run ads for my small business. They repeatedly shadow banned my ads and charged me $62 under false pretenses. I tried to resolve this matter with their administrators, but was met with one roadblock after another,

    They are refusing to delete my personal information. I have requested they delete all of my accounts and all of my personal information. They are refusing the later. I am a veteran that was in a critical position and the government pays for Lexus nexus to suppress my info due to my deployments. This is why they need to delete all info associated with me.

    I am a target.Lately, I have become a target for one or more neighbors on ND. As a realtor, I share captivating information reels, posters, local events, restaurant discussions, and promote my business. I have always followed the guidelines, and previously, ND support backed me when my posts were removed. Now, the decision is left to the moderators. Unfortunately, the moderators do not check my profile to verify the timing of my last post before removing them for spam, which is not the case. Someone reported an event I posted today, claiming I was offering something for sale or free, which is untrue. This targeting has been ongoing since I started sharing about my business. I would never post anything disrespectful. I have attempted to contact someone at ND, and before reaching out to your legal team via X, *****************, I am exploring options with BBB. I believe this reporting stems from jealousy and discrimination.I have been part of ND since 2010, promoting events, speaking on a talk show, and contributing to its recognition. I find this treatment utterly disrespectful. The reviewers need to be reviewed; they informed me that self-promotion is prohibited, and accused me of mentioning the moderators, which I did not. I feel offended and weary of the impoliteness. ND requires some restructuring, and the moderators need better training or replacement as they are biased; one even sent me a private message, stating my post was removed because of Self promotion, which is allowed. Why are some people allowed to do what others are not? I have names of people self promoting multiple times a day, but because I am a Realtor, I am not allowed.

    On April 1, 2024, I was on Nextdoor app and came across an ad from Nextdoor for me to place an ad for my business site, which is a free site on Nextdoor. The advertisement advertised an opportunity for me to advertise by there, creating an advertisement that would pop up when people were on the app and direct them to my business site. The site made it appear as though this would be a daily charge. I gave them my billing information. I opted for the three dollar a day option. I was confused about the transaction and had questions, however, there was no phone number listed anywhere on their website for me to contact a live person. On April 1 I begin sending emails to the email address they have on their website for support. I have sent roughly 10 emails each time the same person responds requesting more information. Meanwhile I have paid almost $100 and when I get on the website nobody has even visited my business site so I have no idea if theyre even advertising for the $93 that I paid. The most frustrating part is that I keep getting the runaround and Im now being asked to send in my bank account information. *** asked in my emails to please get me in touch with the manager at the person sending emails will not do so.

    I am rejecting this response because during the course of the nearly 20 emails sent back and forth between myself and Nextdoor  support, and the several requests I made to please allow me to proceed further correspondence with management, since no phone number would be provided or was found on the website, my request was ignored. I did everything the support person asked me to do. The requests became so convoluted, and in fact, kept changing, that it became unmanageable and unacceptable to keep up with the correspondence. 

    Id also like to make it known to the Better Business Bureau that since day one, the ad was never circulated, and it shows that not one person viewed my site due to the said advertisement.

    The Nextdoor app is supposed to be a way for neighbors to connect. To allow people to feel they are part of a community.However, the nextdoor reviewers mostly picked at random, are given no training or education before they are given the power to silence anyone they disagree with,. Untrained, uneducated people chosen at random. This causes problems, especially for people who understand the meaning of "fairness" and who understand that to suddenly cut someone off from their community, can be VERY detrimental to their mental health.I have filed numerous complaints about the horrendous bias shared by the Nextdoor reviewers over and over again and it hasn't gotten any better.Today 3/27/24 I was suspended AGAIN. In response to a Post that was belittling our current government officials (which was fine with me - EVERYONE is *********** their opinion!) I made this comment: "i think it's hilarious that you think when a new president is elected. Suddenly there will be no more homeless people." "Even more hilarious is that you think the guy before this one did anything - at all. Certainly nothing better." And my account was suspended for TWO WEEKS!THIS is not an app that brings people together, other than people who share the same opinions. This app isolates and separates people. The premise is a good one, to know what is happening in your neighborhood. But until Nextdoor can figure out a way to pick reviewers who are able to comprehend that everyone, even the people who live nextdoor. Are *********** their own opinions - and they don't deserve to be punished and cut off from their communities if they dont agree - than I truly believe this app is doing so much more harm than good.I have heard from SO many people in the same situation as me. Cut off from their communities because of an uneducated, bias reviewer who doesn't agree with their OPINION. Just becayse you disagree with someone, does NOT mean you have done anything to "disrespect" anyone.

    I am rejecting this response because: The fact that my account is suspended because of a comment that did not support the political candidate mentioned in the post I was responding to, was the reason for this complaint.

    The complaint was filed two weeks ago with the suspension ending on April 6th.  The business response was received by the BBB on April 5th.  So basically, ******** was able to silence me for two weeks just as they had hoped.  

    The response refers to "reporting a reviewer" which is not something that can be done while an account is suspended.  Not only that, but there is no way of telling which reviewer it was/is that is repeatedly reporting the posts that they do not agree with.

    This response from ******** is frankly just a perfect example of how ******** is attempting to control the narrative, as I mentioned in my original complaint.  You have untrained, uneducated people IN CONTROL of the neighborhood "vibe" if you will.   They are able to cut off anyone with an opinion that is different and this prevents people from interacting with their communities.  

    Preventing differing opinions does NOT promote "kindness" which is what the basis of nextdoor is.  Quite the opposite actually.  The reviewers and ************** of ******** are not acting in a way that promotes the basic premise of the app.

    I have included a detailed description of what ******** should be.  

    This is NOT what ******** actually is.

    My desired resolution to this issue was simple.  I wanted to be made a reviewer so that all members of the neughborhoid were being given a chance to be heard.  Based on this response my desired resolution has changed.

      I am requesting a paid position as an administrator of the Nextdoor community in an attempt to work out a way to vet potential ******** reviewers.  The way it is being done now, is not conducive to what the app is supposed to be.

    I would also like to suggest that when a post is reported,  all info, including the people who reported thevpost and why, be included in the communication to the person who posted the reported content.

    Im accusing this platform of illegally obtaining my private and personal information that is not public. I do not and did not give out my contact information and I do not authorize use of my address or contact info to be used by any platform to enable others who I do not know mind you, to sign up using this info. I work in tech and am aware of illegal data harvesting and selling of users data. I suspect it came from a third party named credly that i again did not directly sign up for. Class action lawsuit is filed against next door. I have criminal activity in my neighborhood and absolutely under no circumstances do i want my contact information displayed or used on this platform. My landlords info is also off limits. I am not happy.

    Without knowing how the neighbor was invited, it could've been two ways:

    1. Someone invited the neighbor through their email address.

    2. It came from a third party that we're working with. 

    We can remove the neighbor's email address from future invites if it came through from a third party.

    I would like a TELEPHONE CALL FROM A SUPERVISOR. This business of taking NO phone calls is because they run a shoddy business. I am not going to put up with it. I want this company to have repercussions for their shoddy moderators and review team. The moderators are very UNeducated in their job. ND needs to coach their team and/or hire more experienced moderators. I have volunteered to be one in my neighborhood which has NONE and needs one the worst way but they have not taken me up on it. They would be lucky to get me. But they do NOT abide by their OWN RULES AND REGULATIONS! It is such a joke! People are getting banned and posts removed that are perfectly fine posts and a person the other day told me that I had President ***** up my R***** and it was allowed to stay. They sent me an email saying that the person said nothing that was against the rules! PUBLIC SHAMING I would think! But I've had it with them. When I make a report on a poster, it is because it is AGAINST THE GUIDELINES and they NEVER remove it. It sounds ***** to you I'm sure but I do NOT like discrimination!!! I want to SPEAK to a manager (not a kid in a cubicle!) EVERY business should have a telephone complaint line. I am not going to stop until I speak to someone there. These generic emails they send after you make a report is a bunch of BULL! You can tell they never read your complaint whatsoever! Really? Nextdoor should not be allowed to continue the way they are. They are clearly bias and do NOT enforce their rules. Meanwhile, when I report someone as a good member should do, the person I report LAUGHS at me and ND allows it! If I don't get a PERSONAL telephone call, I expect the emails I get to be A REAL TIME EMAIL AND NOT SOME STUPID GENERIC AUTOMATED EMAIL!!! What exactly do you guys do there if you don't answer phones or emails??? I have asked for moderators in our neighborhood and you don't care. I have volunteered. This has to stop because I'm not going to!!!

    They gave NO indication that they gave the complaint any merit at all or any way to speak to someone without having to email a regular agent that has no idea about this complaint. They just don't care.  That is the problem.  Nobody has called me back as I have asked.  I am very unhappy with the way Nextdoor.com conducts their business.  The only way to convey the many issues I have with them is for someone to phone me and they continue to say that is not possible.  I REJECT THIS DECISION 100%!
