5 starsI am so happy that I have SoFi! My account got hacked and they took over $6,000. I was told not to contact the bank but I did and I am so glad I did! After dsys of phone calls , waiting on hold for hours they sent me the money back ! Im happy to I have SoFi as my bank !!!Review fromBrit V

1 starId leave 0 stars if it were an option. ******** loan experience. Go somewhere else. We chose them because it was supposed to be fast and easy with minimal hassle. We were 4 weeks in and had been assured the entire time that the loan would go through. Had a contractor scheduled to come do work because we had been reassured multiple times that all was good. Then they realized there was an issue with our home that had been fully disclosed day 1 and they didnt think the value was correct. Long story short they dinged our credit when they pulled it for the loan we had been assured should be no problem and we didnt get the loan. Ive never worked with a company that didnt have a solution to a loan issue. Never. I will forever go to my local bank for future loans. They are always willing to help you work out something. Wed have been happy to pay for an appraisal so we could keep moving forward since wed already put weeks into the process. That wasnt even presented as a resolution. Wed have been happy to get a co-signer, to decrease the amount of the loan or whatever so we didnt have to cancel the work we planned but there was no flexibility, no other options offered, nothing. We were just denied after that. Worst loan experience of my entire life. They will lead you on until its too late. Now we have no options until our credit scores return to normal. Thank you for absolutely nothing but a huge waste of my time and an 8 month wait until we can schedule the contractor again.Review fromSharon C

SOFI closed my account because violated there deposit agreement. Its weird because the month before my account was hack with **** charges that were fraudulent. Went through multiple debit cards. Just dont get itSoFi

I've been with SoFi for a few years. They started off good with high interest rates ~4.7. They then quickly dropped them now its around 3.5%. Support can't raise it even if you have a large amount of money in the accounts even though other banks have higher yields. Negative is you can not withdraw large amounts of cash since there is no physical locations. A positive is they can increase your zelle limit to 7.5k but I just found out they limited me back down and support either doesn't want to do their job or a re untrained, an agent told me he could not raise it from 4k to 7.5k until i send a screenshot of what a previous agent raised it to. Then, once he read that he MAGICALLY raised it to 5k. Not what I had it previously.... I've been arguing with them for over an hour and was transfer to a "Manager" and we are just going back and forth. They also limit your account if you don't send large transactions out every 2 months.SoFi

I have been banking with SoFi for almost a year and a half. in the year I have been robbed probably four times and a total of amount of almost $3000. The first thing that the customer service said to me today was how can she provide excellent service.Does anyone else think thats very disrespectful for someone to tell you that they are providing excellent service, someone has stole my money almost 4 Tines. My hard earn money. I go to work and I work my a** off every day just to have to beg for it back every time. talking Bill collectors calling me harassing me because I dont have the money because Sofi allow someone to steal my money out of my account, and they have the nerve enough to say that they are providing excellent service that shows the lack of empathy that they have for their customers. They dont care about us at all. I just wanna let everybody know that so far its a piece of s***SoFi

I have had this bank for several years, most of my experiences have been positive until recently. Zelle was always asseible. I changed my phone and of course had to go through the additional verification process regarding an upload of my DL. Their system doesnt have an error message that they are persistent that I do a screen image and provide this to their tech department. I explain to their representative and Account managers ****** who was abusive argumentative and selective hearing. I was told borrow a friends phone to do a screen image. ******* and him refuse to do any follow-up call. They both stated I would receive an email from their tech department once I provide them with a screenshot of an error message. Ive told them over and over those no error message. The system will simply not accept the front of DL. I asked ******* for the Owners name she refuse. I had to do a web search to get the information and the CEO e-mail addressSoFi

The worst bank I have ever dealt with in my whole life! Everytime I got gas they put a 75 dollar hold on my account. I spent all day on hold to have managers just hang up on me twice! Don't use any of there products or services!!SoFi

I applied at SOFI and the process was a nightmare. I had a loan officer assigned to my case, ***** ******, who assured me that he would be with me the during the process. Once the appraisal was ordered on my property, the problems got incredibly worse. The appraiser was a seasoned veteran who was well respected by our real estate community. He wrote a very detailed appraisal and submitted it. SOFI challenged it several times, each time requiring him to resubmit to fit their program and refused to accept his comparables. He spent several hours, in addition to the constant questions from SOFI. This was confusing because the loan to value was extremely low. After several frustrating phone calls, it was finally accepted. I received an email stating the loan was ready to close and I could review documents in their portal. It would not let me open the docs so at the closing was the first time I saw them. The closing agent was floored when I told her I had not seen them and had not heard from SOFI. The day after we closed, SOFI called and asked for additional bank information from me. I refused since it was a constant nightmare and they had already closed on the loan. Their representative, ***** ********, was very embarrassed and stated SOFI policy was for ***** to personally go over the docs prior to closing. She apologized several times and said she was escalating to her manager since the service I received was so negligent on their part. Without writing a novel, please understand this company is pathetic.SoFi

I was trapped by taking a loan from Sofi , later I changed my traditional checking account from *** to ********************** . The banking with Sofi is horrible , they dont have any branches in the **, if you had to deposit cash you will have any option. Multiple times Sofi debit card was used by Fraudulent transaction and the Bank took more time to issue conditional credit . If one has any other option apart from Sofi, please choose it .SoFi

1 starI am extremely disappointed with my experience as a SoFi credit card holder. Despite never making a single late payment and consistently managing my account responsibly, ********************** has repeatedly reduced my credit limit every time I make a large payment toward my balance. This practice is both frustrating and unjustified, especially for a customer who has demonstrated financial responsibility.This constant reduction in my credit limit has caused unnecessary complications, including declined auto-payments that I had set up. Instead of rewarding good financial behavior, SoFi seems to penalize it, making it difficult to rely on their services for consistent financial *********** this point, I have lost all confidence in SoFi as a banking institution. I intend to pay off my account in full and never use it again. Their poor business practices and lack of consideration for loyal customers make it clear that they are not the right financial partner for me. Fortunately, I have many other banking options, so removing SoFi from my financial portfolio is an easy decision.If you are considering a SoFi credit card, I strongly advise against it. There are far better institutions that respect and reward responsible financial behavior rather than punishing it.
