I received information from my credit card company that the company called dofasting placed a fraudulent charge on my credit card. I have had to close that card and request a new one. I should not have to pay for the fraudulent charge.Initial Complaint

I took a quiz found online and added my email for the results to be emailed to me which they were not. I then paid $1 for a trial. They send an email from ***** which I missed because it did not say Do Fasting in the address or subject line. 7 days later they charged me $80 which I saw on my credit card. I asked for a refund and they told me the date the email was sent. In the email it says to cancel email so fasting or _____. The sentence is not even complete. They finally offered a 25% refund which I declined. I put in a dispute with my credit card company instead. Beware of this scam.Initial Complaint

DoFasting participates in deceptive auto/renewal practices and is unwilling to provide reasonable customer service upon cancellation of the service. They continued to renew my membership without sending notifications and when I contacted them to refund my my last charge they refused to accommodate that. At best this is just poor customer service. In December of 2023, while reviewing the promotional ads of DoFasting.com services, I aimed to enrol on a 7-day trial period to review the app and to try their services. The company stated that they issue refunds within 14 days of purchase. While checking options, I had an issue with the phone and accidentally chose the wrong subscription option. To my surprise, the app does not allow reviewing purchase orders before debiting an account. When I refreshed the app, DoFasting.com debited money from my account. The same evening, I cancelled services and e-mailed their customer desk, notifying them about the glitch and my initial intent. I filled out a request on their website, and the next day, I sent an e-mail to their support desk. After four days, on January 4, 2024, I received an e-mail signed by their customer representative, ******, asking to verify If I was an "actual" human before they issued a refund. I replied to the e-mail but have not received a refund or response. I sent multiple follow-up e-mails but have yet to hear back. I e-mailed it again, and on January 29, I sent another e-mail with supporting documents. I received a response from a customer representative, *********, who, without taking any time to review the correspondence, dismissively stated that I delayed my refund request; thus, she would not issue it. The only thing she did was she closed the account. I immediately sent a follow-up message stating that I submitted my request on time but have yet to receive a refund or proper review of my transaction. My purchase order number is 330958dated 12/29/2023.I have yet to hear back or receive a refund. Please note that other customers wrote about similar issues on the Trust Pilot site, such as the "no purchase review" option and the company not issuing refunds. It is their standard practice. I would appreciate it if you could help me resolve the matter and warn other consumers.Initial Complaint

I decided to try this program to lose weight. I signed up for the trial plus the Fasting box. I've never received the fasting box and when I try to sign in to manage my subscription, my password doesn't work. I clicked on reset my password, but the link they email doesn't work. I've sent an email explaining my issue and desire to cancel the auto renew, but based on other complaints I feel I may have to do it another way.Initial Complaint

Purchased the app on 1/1/2024, they had you do a survey- the premise being that if you answered questions the questions would guide you to the plan that was best for you. However after completing the questions and getting to the end you were prompted to purchase s plan, it still did not give you any details, you had to first purchase to "get a plan". i purchased the 3 month option. after getting to log in it did not give you a plan, you had to select a plan of your own choosing so i selected 14/8 fast. they also provided a supplement packet that you could take to assist with suppressing appetite. i tracked my fasts including foods i was eating and also utilized the packets i received on 1/05/2024. after 2 weeks of utilizing the packets and tracking fasts and gaining weight i contacted the company to cancel my account and requested a refund. this took place on 01/23/2024. they denied my request stating they have a 14 day refund policy. i do not recall seeing that in any disclosures as i was signing up as had i seen that i would have chosen a lesser plan such as the 1 moth trial this way i would not have been out of as much money. instead of offering a partial refund they have outrightly kept my money despite me no longer being able to use their services as the account is cancelled. I am requesting either full or partial refund based on false advertising and deceptive marketing.Initial Complaint

I have signed on to this service understanding that there will be a 7 day trial period then I will get charged to use the app for 3 months. The 7-day trial that I chose included a box of supplements, amount of $19.95 was charged, the supplement was supposed to ship within 4-5 working days. A week after, they have already charged me the 3 months subscription but there is still no communication of when the box will ship. I then emailed *****, who by the way is not a real person, and she told me that I have not filled out my shipping address so they have not shipped it. I responded with my address but then around 2 days later someone else emailed me that I should have received a confirmation email where I was supposed to fill out my address. The only confirmation email I received contained my order # and how to log in to the app. Long story short, 2 weeks of me being given the run-around and still no supplements. I then cancelled my subscription but then after that there were no updates on whether I will still receive the supplements. I emailed again and this time they sent me a form I can fill out with my address. A week has passed and still nothing. And to add insult to injury they then send me an email asking me to rate the app on how satisfied I was. I have read all the bad reviews about the bad service and how they never give refunds but this company is just advertising on social media and fooling a lot. of people.Initial Complaint

This company has an automatic renew system and I tried numerous times in September to cancel and at one point it said it was canceled and then November 1 rolls around and they still charge my account and around that time the app kept saying I did not have an account so I assumed it had been cancelled so all I want is my money back I paid them ***** but all I want is the refund I deserve from November 1st of *****
