      On August 2021, I executed a contract with Sunrun. I executed loan documents 7/28/2021. In September 2021, my roof my pulled apart. I have no roof tiles on about 50% of the front of my house since September 2021. The roof has not been protected from the extreme climate- heat, rain, etc as it has no tiles. I contacted Sunrun repeatedly, weekly- texted, emailed, and phone calls. Finally, I found out in March 2022 that Sunrun started the permit process with ****** but never contacted them back as to scheduling a date. I scheduled it, I did it. I sent pictures to sunrun showing approval of the meter so they could FINALLY move one. Nothing happened. All the phone numbers and emails did not work- the project manager had been changed or fired...without any notice to me. So I filed my first BBB complaint in April 2022. A few weeks later, Sunrun finally started work. We got the new electric panel, we got approval from the county on inspections. We were ready to go and I was excited. Install was scheduled on 7/26/2022. I waited. They came. They said the placement for equipment was not determined and that I had to remove parts of the interior garage shelves. We said ok. They then said the battery couldn't back up our entire house as planned. But weren't sure. They made so many excuses. But instead of waiting for the shelves to be removed, they cancelled the appointment for install and told us to call back to get a new date. It would have taken ***** minutes to remove the shelves. I called ********* ******* and emailed her with urgency. She finally called back after the team left two hours later. She then scheduled me for install on 7/27/2022- the following day. HOWEVER, I received a call from ******* on 7/26/2022 at 4:30pm that the install would be cancelled and that the loan documents had expired. Sunrun wants us to reapply and get new terms for the loan. This is ridiculous!!! I relied on the contract that was signed on August 2022. They failed to perform.

      In December of 2020, I entered into an agreement with Sunrun to lease their system and provide solar power for my home.In summary, the agreement calls for:You get a ***** kW DC Solar System With 35 Solar Panels and 1 Inverter(s)Which will produce an est. ****** kWh in its first year And offset approx.100% of your current, estimated electricity usage However, my system has not been meeting production as listed above. My PG&E electricity true up **** has been over $1,400 and I made several attempts to resolve these issues with Sunrun, however have been unsuccessful. I tried their customer service, case managers, my sales rep and even their CEO on LinkedIn. I'm at the point, where I've exhausted all available resolution options and reaching out to BBB for resolution. Sunrun clearly mislead me and not fulfilling their contractual obligation, however they been collecting monthly payments from my bank account. I need your assistance and bring closure to this issue, by performing their annual reconciliation now, reimbursement me for PG&E statement and monitor their system production going forward.Thanks,Zahir

      I am in a 30-year lease of solar panels with Sunrun starting on 2011. I pay monthly rent ($81) for the roof solar system. Starting in 2020, some of the solar panels has malfunction. Since then, the monthly electricity generation had a significant decline. I contact Sunrun numerous times to repair the panels. They always said that they cannot do it immediately due to the lack of inventory. Until 2022, Sunrun started to contact for an appointment to repair the panels. However, their technicians haven't shown up for two appointments due to the same reason of inventory shortage. I waisted two days waiting for their people. Since 2020 the issue begins, I am paying full rent ($81) for a broken system. I asked Sunrun if I can cease the lease and they said I cannot terminate the lease.I don't understand why I have to pay full rent for a malfunctioning system for almost 2 years. Can I cease my payment until they repair the issue? Can I simply terminate the lease due to their inactivity for the repair? I would also claim for a refund of my rent during the period when the system is broken.

      I am rejecting this response because: the issue is continuing and there is no guarantee when the issue can be fixed.

      The solar system issue started on November 2020 and has been lasting for 21 months. If the system can be repaired shortly, your offer seems reasonable.

      I don't believe the stocking issue will be resolved in the near future. This issue will likely to continues. Thus, I would claim for the following items.

      - $500 check: compensation for my time, efforts and frustration in communication with Sunrun).
      - $853.84 check: refund of the underperformed system from Nov. 2020 (or earlier) to now.

      I'm so tired and frustrated in dealing with this company. There has to be an end. I'm ready to go for legal procedures if you don't accept my claims.

      I previously made a claim with still no resolution since 2021. I bought my home in 2020 with panels already on unaware of the nightmare these were . I started having problems instantly. Outrageous bills . Unaware of two accounts, unaware of terrible customer service . I thought buying my first home was going to be great but I was sadly mistaken. Panels are broken , trueup of 1600$ and 500 and 100$ monthly bills its crazy . Have had a system error on account with nothing done since buying the house . Have contacted sunrun/vivint many times with no resolution Im not paying for crappy service and no service at all I want these panels removed and debt cleared.

      I can a third-party come over to go over solar options with me. This was Sun solar solutions. They miss lead me and they took advantage of me in knowing I was on medication heavy medication. I explain to ********************************* I have glaucoma and I'm partially blind in both eyes. I take medication for that and I'm also on another nine medication is where I am not able to make decisions for myself. I told him I need my wife to go over everything I do not recall signing anything in writing. I never signed anything in writing. I do not know what he did with possibly forging my signature. Because I do not remember signing anything in writing. **** odonnl *************************** mention to me I would not have a bill to pay except for taxes from the energy company. He mentioned I would add one bill to pay just to the solar company. I informed ***************************** would need my wife to go over everything. He was trying to bribe me with $1000. He mentioned I do not need my wife knowing I was on medication and I cannot make proper decisions with the 14 medication's I'm on. I'm not sure what ********************** did. ******* is a married state and my wife is on the title of the house. ********************************* took advantage of a situation knowing I was on heavy medication. Everything ********************** told me was a lie. I am not seeing any savings whatsoever after he signed a signature that is not my signature. Now I'm being told ********************************* is not an active partner with son Run. The site coordinator that is on the contract there was no one issued as a site coordinator and a contract this is another red flag. I do not know what these people are doing. There is another contract for the energy company APS that needed to be signed by the homeowner homeowners and no one signed this contract. I have requested to the seller company to cancel the contract as miss representation breach of a contract. And recession of a contract. Yes I was not capable of making any decisions as I explained to the third-party.

      I am rejecting this response because: Are you been going back-and-forth with the business to resolve this issue. I want to get this settled as soon as possible as they are in breach of a contract due to misinforming me. They also failed to comply with federal guidelines. There was a coordinator assigned and the contract however it was told to me by Sun Run there was no coordinator assigned to this project. There is no accountability and they are not following the proper federal guidelines. Also ******************************* is not active Im not sure how he scammed me into this. Also on the contract for APS no one signed the contract and this is another issue. I do not recall signing any contract due to her being on several different medications. The company is a scam they told me I would not have a bill and just pay taxes. Now I have two large bills one with Sun Run and one with APS.  I have glaucoma and partial blindness in both eyes. I told them I could not sign any contract without my wife being present Im not sure what they did. My wife is on the dime in the house and then for some reason at the lot have her involved when they were talking with me. I told him I cannot do anything without my wife as I am on several different medications about 14 to 15 medication . Also ******* is a married state ants and cheese on the house she needed to be involved in this contract. This company has failed in so many ways Christmas present Tatian greeting a contract also taking advantage of us for me to to my illness. I want this resolved and cancel this contract . If we dont get this resolved and consider hanging in a turkey and will ask for compensation of damages. I want to issue resolved as soon as possible.       I am rejecting this response because: I have been dealing with several different people trying to resolve this issue resolution immediately. I have addressed several issues. They keep avoiding resolving the issue. I did not sign a contract in writing, they did not follow federal guidelines. Paperwork has someones name as a site coordinator, than I find out there was no one assigned as a coordinator. APS contract was never signed, they promised I would not pay an electric ********************* of contract. Than someone contacts me offering me savings and compensation. They are accepting responsibility from what they are telling me. I want the contract to be terminated immediately.

      Bottom Line Up Front: Case number ******** - My wife and I have been getting the run-around by Sunrun regarding an appeasement of $650 promised to me by one of representatives. I respectfully requested fulfillment of this agreement. Reason for the Appeasement: Due to the constant delays [by Sunrun] in activating my solar system, I was required to pay my high utility **** ($800/month), and simultaneously a loan used to pay the $90,000 ($325/month) system sitting unproductively on my roof for three months. History of Events:On 01 August 2021 We signed a Customer Agreement with ********************** through a ****** Kiosk. (Order Number *********) After months of no installation or communication, I notified Sunrun that I wanted to cancel our agreement and go with a new Solar vendor. Magically, Sunrun had an availability to start our project the following week (15 December 2021). The installation crew was quick but we could not use our system until 16 March 2022. 15 February- I complained about this delay to customer service and was offered one check of $325 in February (for the December/January period) then was promised an additional two months ($650 - Jan/Feb/Mar) for the continued delays. 19 May 2022 I received a recorded voicemail from ******** acknowledging the $650 appeasement and said it should only take five business days to receive the check. 19 May 2022 Email from ******** ***** manager #1) that we got approval for a $450 check from Sunrun. 06 Jul 2022 Email from Ari ***** manager #2) stating that we already cashed a check for $325 in February so no more checks needed to be sent out. 09 July 2022 My wife received a call from Sunrun case manager confirming the previous email. 26 July 2022 - Our case manager refuses to return our calls after leaving several voicemails.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. 

      However, this is pending fulfillment of the the terms of our discussion. Given the history of events with leading to this complaint, I am reluctant to trust blindly. I did receive a tracking number for a check but the status remained as undelivered  by sender.   As a curtesy, it would be great to hear from Sunrun if there are any reasons for the delay in actions. Im a very understanding person but with no information to go off, Im an even better speculator.

      The house I bought had their leased panels on it. When I sold the new house recently, the buyer is refusing to sign the contract so they're claiming I'm responsible to keep paying or have my credit score suffer. I don't believe it should be my problem as I sold the house and no longer live there.

      I am in the process of having solar panels installed by SunRun. All the panels have been installed, but the installation did not pass the city inspection over a month ago (around June *****). Since that time I have tried multiple times to reach SunRun and especially the project manager, *************************, to give me a specific update on when the issues will be resolved. I have tried email communication, text communication and phone calls to *************************, and I have not gotten a response, other than a vague email dated 7/21 that did not address the specifics of the case. I have called *********************** (the salesperson) multiple times, and he has not been able to reach anyone connected to the account. I have also called SunRun to issue complaints twice, yet I have yet to receive a call from anyone who understands the specifics of the installation issues. I am scheduled to start making payments on this unfinished project on August 6th. I think I have waited long enough for a resolution.

      I did receive an email from *************************** from Sunrun's Escalations & Prevention team on Thursday, 7/26.  I immediately responded both by phone and by email asking for her to call me so that I could discuss the situation with her.  As of this moment (8/3/22) I have received no response from her.  Furthermore, absolutely no work has been done on the installation for past 6 weeks following the failed inspection with city inspector. What's more: I have received no phone calls from anyone from SunRun updating me on the specific plan to remedy the problems with the installation.  None of my demands have been met.

      I purchased solar panels from SUNRUN which were installed on the 31st of May. I have had these panels installed now for almost 2 months while I am waiting for inspection. Since the panels are installed I am required to make my payments on them as the loan company has funded SUNRUN for the installation.SUNRUN installed my solar panels, and while conducting the install the ******* noticed the drawings for the installation were incorrect. They completed the installation of the panels not in accordance to the drawings since drawings were incorrect.SUNRUN scheduled an inspection for the 8th of June, and a SUNRUN employee came and looked over the system and then informed my wife the inspection was canceled by the city (believe this to be a lie as if the install was not IAW drawings than the install would not pass inspection). When I emailed my project coordinator on this, he informed me my project was back with design to make the drawings match what was installed and failed to tell me that I would have to now wait for a new permit before they can inspect. This means my solar panels that are currently installed, are illegally installed and I was not informed this till now.I contacted SUNRUN customer care on 22 July (Email), 26 July (Chat), multiple phone calls and messages left about this issue and filed a complaint, they either ignore me or just tell me to contact my project coordinator (which is one of my problems as he either ignores me or provides information that does not answer my questions or informs me on my project status).Mistakes I have seen in this project:- Drawings were not correct the first time (despite being submitted to design multiple times for approval PRIOR to installation)- I was not informed that my plans had to be resubmitted to the City to re-approve the permit - Complete communication from my project Coordinator has been horrible. (Most of the time I have to go through my sales **** ********************** or Bryans manager to get an answer).

      In 2020 I signed contracts and my solar system was installed. In the preparation to installation they gave me a paper to note down four different items I would like left on in the case of an outage. I am disabled and cannot be romping around in the dark during an outage I'm in ****** and it gets pretty windy. I filed the paperwork and they insured me at a later appointment that I was getting that feature called a circuit breaker. It was never installed. I've made three requests for the district manager to call me but he has not, instead the customer service person sends me schematics like I can understand that right. They tell me I have to pay for it now since I did not do it at the initial purchase, which they forgot to do... And they told me it was included in my system. So my system isn't what they told me it was going to be. They failed to install something that they told me and insured me would be on the system. My decision to go solar was 90% based on this feature.I love the system but on the first outage. The system is no good for me if they can't fix what they forgot to do. It is a major investment and very disappointing that it was not done as they told me it would be.
