    I have three ring cameras. I have to keep replacing the one I have located in the bedroom because it continues to stop working. This makes no sense. They have sent me replacements each time. However, they keep leaving off my apartment number when sending the replacements, which causes them to be returned to sender. Each time I have repeated my complete address to the representative, including the apartment number, and have had the representative repeat it back to me because they keep leaving it off the replacement package. I'm not sure what is causing them to not enter my apartment number, but this is a big inconvenience to me because I have to keep calling them back to have it redelivered. Either the representatives are incompetent or there is something wrong with their computer systems.

    I purchased a Whole Home Enhanced Kit from ************************** because they promised a free installation with my purchase. I never received an email with the security code. After 3 or 4 (!!) chats with their customer service team I was finally able to receive a code to use with ******. This code DOES NOT WORK and Ring and ****** have not been willing to fix their issue. After multiple phone calls with the ****** team I still have not received any help from them either. I feel like I have just been scammed out of my time and money from 2 companies who have no intention of providing the service they promised. Not to mention that ****** only has the option for "Premium Appointments" which cost $20. Even if you go out months or years there are no normal appointments so as far as I can tell the promise of a free install was a sham from the start even if the code would have worked.

    I am very disappointed with Ring home security system. I spent $600.00 to intall Doorbell Camera and an indoor Camera 5yrs ago. It does not pick up motion or video recording when I am outside the house. I called the customer sevice many times about this issue then one representative suggested that, install the camera closer to the router. I moved the indoor camera within 10' of the router. The issue still persists. The door ************ picture when I go in or out. The quality of the photo is so bad that I cannot recognize who the person is. The customer service doesn't seem to understand the issue.

    Would not assist me with correct information regarding my snapshot feature on ring camera still inop and I even told them I have used this feature for years but now it won't allow me to set my desired time on snapshot they should be able to resolve this issue my system has been hacked and my advice is for you to purchase a camera without wi fi

    I paid for over $700 in new product was sold a used one. Plus another $2,800 to install them! I contacted RING s they shifted to responsibly to me, like it was my fault the new product was a used one. And to solve the problem I would be required to spent more money to uninstall the light and send it back or wait 15 days for transfer of ownership. After 15 days with a successful transfer of ownership I could reinstall it! If NO response after 15 days I had to contact them to take appropriate action whatsoever that meant?!NO i dont recommend their product or service!

    Ring has failed my family, it doesn't pick up ANY motion we need to be recorded for police to file reports . Our cars have been hit , keyed , and the other half of the duplex we live in had an explosion (meth lab) and it didn't pick any of this up.....but it had no problem "working" when I move my blinds...no matter what settings they say will help support doesn't know what to do to fix anything. They love blaming you, or your internet, or the device itself for why it's failing at doing its ONLY JOB "protecting" what you've paid for....I'm buying another camera name brand that doesn't require a subscription that will actually help keep my family safe AND can't be hacked so creeps can look at my children.

    While Ring offers convenient and user-friendly video doorbells with good picture quality, their customer service can be frustratingly unresponsive and often blames user issues for problems with the app or device functionality, leading to a disappointing experience when troubleshooting issues; additionally, the subscription fees for cloud storage can add up quickly.". Key points to consider:Pros:Easy setup, good camera quality, wide viewing angle, motion detection.Cons:App glitches, inconsistent notifications, poor customer service response time, reliance on subscription for cloud storage, potential privacy concerns, inconsistent streams from cameras, theres a mode to ignore small pets but this option has failed in each attept to use. One last con is the significant price increase. Current pricing is $100 for a year subscription and the bundle includes real time monitoring. New pricing is $100 for a year subscription plus $100 for monitoring. I feel like this was a move known to the company owner upon purchase but it was yhe reason we spent the money on 6 cameras, a doorbell, 3 motion sensors, 8 window sensors, 2 keypads, a water sensor. Now the sos is no longer part of the protection bundle so buyer beware!

    I opened my account in 2023 with Professional Monitoring but downgraded to Self-Monitoring that same year. The company began charging my account for Professional Monitoring in November 2024, though this was not obvious when logging into the app. I reached out to customer service and requested a refund, and though they confirmed this change was made without my consent, I was told the only recourse was to file a dispute with my financial institution, which I have done.

    I placed my order yesterday, received the order confirmation and payment confirmation emails immediately. Today I logged into my Ring account to see the order status under "Order History". My order wasn't there. I tried online chat support thinking this would be an easy fix. I clearly stated that I could not see my order under my order history. I then had to play 20-questions with the person that asked silly things like, "Did you use a different email for the order? Have you tried a different browser?" Next they said I will receive a shipping confirmation once it ships. I didn't ask for when my order would ship, I wanted to know why my order wasn't listed under my order history. It was like listening to a broken record. At one point the representative asked me what page I was looking at! I LITERALLY STATED I COULD NOT SEE MY ORDER UNDER MY ORDER HISTORY. After the terrible chat, I ended it and decided to call customer support. My nightmare from online chat support repeated itself, but over the phone this time. At one point someone must have figured out the problem was on their end because suddenly the order appeared under my order ********** second issue is the ambiguous generation information for the products on their online store. There are several products on the website that have different product generations. Many parts and accessories have notes stating what generation they are compatible with. Guess what they don't tell you. They don't tell you what generation the products belong to (e.g. 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc.)! There are several products where they say, "This is now known as ", but they don't say what generation the product belongs to. I had to look on Reddit to get the right product generation info so I could order the right devices and accessories.First time customer. I only placed my order yesterday and I'm already regretting the decision to use Ring even though my order hasn't shipped yet!
