This company has been holding my funds way past their reserved dates of 60 days. Then, when I needed to issue a refund, they took from the reserve when I issued my customer their actual funds so there was absolutely no need to do that. On top of that, I tried doing an instant payout twice and they never paid me stating that it's an issue with my bank. My bank said there was never a payment! I also got a message saying my funds will be released to me in 2124. EXCUSE ME?! I'd be long gone and so will my children's children!! Just a complete and total rip off! Small businesses need their money the most. It's exspensive running a business so every payment costs. Meanwhile they'll keep your funds until they feel like they want to release it. **Avoid Stripe at All Costs: A Scam Operation**I cannot stress enough how disastrous my experience with Stripe has been. As an international customer running a legitimate business, I thought using Stripe would streamline my payment processing. Instead, it turned into a nightmare.Firstly, they withhold your funds for absolutely no reason. They find the tiniest excuse to freeze your payouts indefinitely, leaving you high and dry. When you inquire about it, they give vague responses or simply ignore you altogether. It's like they enjoy watching you struggle while they hoard your hard-earned money.But that's not the worst part. They can arbitrarily disable your account without any warning or justification. One day, you're operating smoothly, the next, your account is closed, and there goes all your moneypoof! They don't care if your business depends on those funds or if you have bills to pay. They just shut you down and eat up your cash.And guess what? They don't refund customers either. When they close your account, any pending transactions or balances vanish into thin air. It's a highway robbery disguised as a payment service.It's beyond frustrating. You put in hours of hard work to build your business, only for Stripe to come in and potentially ruin everything. They are a liability, not a partner. Don't be fooled by their sleek interface or promises of easy transactions. They are out to get you.PLEASE, FOR THE **** OF YOUR BUSINESS AND SANITY, BOYCOTT STRIPE. 1 Star is too positive We attempted to use Stripe through a ****************** App for Churches. This App has a donation platform that is serviced by Stripe. We got everything set up and I foolishly tested it with a $1,000 payment that should have been deposited in our Church Checking account. Never showed up. Have never got a response from Stripe. This happened in 2023 and at year-end... they still had the money and apparently think that money is there's? I figured when they reconciled their books at year-end they would contact me? Nope! Mid 2024 now and still they have basically stolen $1,000. Please do not use Stripe. Our Church has other horror stories concerning overseas payments that was just a mess.Review from Todd F

I give this company up ******************************************************************************************** for the digital products that they purchased but yet from one account they hold $526 and then they talk to me into setting up a second account as silly as that sounds, I went along with it and they are holding $1238 in that account. ******************** are an acting like a criminal organization but the way they steal peoples hard earned money and then they even refused to give it back to the customers that Ive put it in there. I have been a customer up ********************* since ** May they have shut me down twice without prejudiced. No explanation just shut my first countdown talk me into opening up another account just so they could do the same thing, absolutely ridiculous. I have an account again that is open that they opened when they released it after they emptied the funds out of it thinking I was going to be stupid enough to use it again, stay as far away from the criminal organization as you can I believe a class action lawsuit should be brought against them from everybody within these complaints as well as everybody else out there that hasnt said anything. I do know some people that would just love to hear a story like this and post it all over the news and maybe thats what needs to happen when you have criminal activity that is being condoned and nothing is being done about it. They are the ones that say, they are trying to stop, illegal activity through there Processor, But yet they just continue over and over and over again to steal peoples money and not return it to the customer. I dont know about everybody else, but I know theres a lot of money that has been taken by these thieves. I am ready to take this to the next level, because there are a lot of funds that are unaccounted for because somebody had straight may have sticky fingers. and isnt not a kicker I have to give them at least one star to move on what c*** is that?Review from Nate C

If you are thinking about using stripe think again the took ***** from my customers than asked me to identify my self witch I did they called my legitimate business high risk and is holding my money hostage and will not give it back they should have never accepted money from my customers until verification was complete somebody needs to put stripe in its place OUT OF BUSINESS the only one at high risk is any one trying to use stripe;!!Review from Gabrielle C

1 star is too many. The wrong bank account was put in to transfer money out of Stripe and I have been trying to change it to access my funds since April. Every time I contact support they tell me the same thing and it never works. My clients cant pay using the credit card feature my business uses. Stripe screwed me over and are holding my money hostage like everyone else here. However, I'm not like most people here where their client disputed the charge, my client verified it and is willing to talk to stripe anytime but of course there is no way to call them and emails they keep sending these automated meaningless time waisting emails and very fed up with it. For anyone interesting in joining me in filing a class action lawsuit plz look up affordable one group in ******** and cont. Act me I will be meeting 2 class action attorneys this Friday and next Monday. I have also hired an IT expert private investigator who have been scabbing data from social media and every business site of individuals and companies who got screwed over by stripe to contact them to join the class action law suit. I wish I could give zero stars. I don't understand how it's allowed that they can just ignore customers and hold money hostage. At this point they're just ignoring my emails asking for help. They claim that they'll refund the money they're holding hostage to my client but that hasn't happened and it's absolutely ridiculous that I won't be paid. I performed a service, I invoiced my client, my client paid. I'm within the **** they're just scammers.Review from Aaron S

Stripe is one of the most unethical companies I have come across.Please read their multiple, intentionally obfuscated, Terms of Service documents with an attorney before doing ANYTHING with Stripe. They intentionally lie in their onboarding process about Know-Your-Customer regulations in order to capture additional biometric data to train their separate AI **************** even though this is potentially illegal in multiple jurisdictions.Their customer support will assure you that there is a method to comply with KYC without providing biometric validation however they will absolutely play stupid customer support games, feigning ignorance or just sending you on a wild goose chase around their site looking for links and options that do not, in fact, exist.It is transparently clear that Stripe is more interested in harvesting their customers data for AI **************** training than they are in actually serving customer.This is egregious enough from a privacy / security standpoint that we have already been in contact with State Legislatiors and provided their useless customer service responses to assist with finalizing pending legislation in the State Assembly since it has already passed the State Senate vote.Will make sure never to do business with them, or anyone who uses them, again... RUNNNNN!!!! Avoid this payment processor at all costs. If you cant find another payment processor just take ACH drafts, checks, cash etc. They are NOTORIOUS for withholding funds and NEVER releasing them even though they say they will after so many months.
