    I joined Inshape to use their pool amenities to prevent back surgery. Their pool at ******, ********* has not worked once in the last month and remains cold. Their response to requests of pool maintenance contains "IDK". I don't believe that I should have to pay more money to use another facility, plus more in gas and wear on my vehicle, to use a pool. the corporate page leads to a 404 message, the '866' number is invalid, and the corp '209' number remains busy. I want my money back since i have not been able to attend for purposes of joining. I am unable to cancel membership or place on hold because I have not been a member for at least 30 days, and have to wait to be charged to perform this action. I suggest to pay more money elsewhere as this gym and company are not responsible nor fit to manage.

    I canceled my membership over 6 months ago And they continue to charge my bank account!!! Ive tried to call them several times when you call the number it immediately hangs up on you. I emailed Them and they told me they would get back to me shortly that was three months ago. I went into In-Shape and the employees had no idea what to do about it. I had to go so far as to Opening up a new account to try to escape this ridiculous constant fee from In-Shape. Posting review on the BBB is my first stop. My next stop is to start a small claims file against them, but anyone who is thinking about getting an In-Shape account DONT. Its a company of liars, and thieves. What business doesnt have a customer service number??!! that should tell you right there!!!

    This complain is about is about gender and disability discrimination again a person with severe mental and physical disability from staff/management at the In-Shape Health Club located at **************** on July 9,2024. Words can not describe how bad my son was treated by staff members at this facility. After seven years of being an In-shape member was told that my membership will be terminated because my son can not be shower at the females shower facilities. Because this facility has not gender neutral showers, I used the females showers facility to shower my son. I explained to the manager that my son is non-verbal and that needs help with showering, dressing and supervision to prevent injury/harm but he did not show compassion or understanding. He told that it was nothing that he could do and I should get a gym membership at another gym facility. If In-Shape can not accommodate people with Disabilities it should outline this on the membership contract. As an In-Shape member, my son has the right to use the facilities that are available to anybody.

    I am complaining about an incident at the In-Shape gym on *****************************. On 05/03/2024 and 05/06/2024, I was in the gym riding an exercise bike upstairs while watching TV. Both days, a soap opera came on called "La *********************************". The soap opera was full of pedophiles molesting children. I complained to the manager, ****, a philipino girl named *****, a white guy with curly hair and a black guy with long braids (************************* style). None of the staff was able to turn the channel or shut off the television. I was so disappointed that I went home without finishing my exercise routine. I have not went back to the gym since.I have provided the links of just a couple samples of the soap opera below:******************************************* ******************************************* There are tons of children in the gym that can see the soap opera daily. The staff said they would not turn the channel or turn off the television!PS: I tried contacting someone at the headquarters in ***********, but they never got back to me.The gym should be shut down for child endangerment.

    *********, ** Store *********, On Friday march 29 at 11:08 pm yell at eldman leaving at tge time telling him that he should'nt be leaving and making feel bad ,then she staring on me also telling the same thing , i thought very un professional to treat us that i had idea yelling at us.i believe need a apologie my Is *******************************.     In-Shape Health ***************** is totally deceptive and evasive in their billing process. After putting my membership "on hold" for 10 months due to traveling and moving out of CA. they deducted $5mo to put membership on hold and without any notice or reason they reactivated my membership to monthly fees of $36.88 mo. No contact or email from them - just a balance due. I have not checked into the ************** club or used any club in the past for 11 months - but yet they are billing me.Try to cancel your membership and it is like a "black hole" you can not talk to anyone, it takes ******************************************************************************************************************* used their club. DO NOT give them access to any auto debit - I had to dispute my bank account which they investigated and reversed charges But In-Shape just keeps sending out threatening balance due emails - adding to the outstanding balance each month. Lastly, ************** was constantly dirty, esp the men's locker room, 25% of the equipment was not working or waiting to be fixed and the pool was closed several times due to contamination. Yet they always want monthly dues and any complaints about the club are dismissed by employees that are more interested in chatting amongst themselves or lifting a finger to clean up any mess or complaints to make the place better.

    Horrible customer service from general management {September H.}. I have made several attempts to address some concerns regarding the inappropriate behavior of a couple of members and all shes done is ignore and disregard my concerns. I feel unsafe, threatened, and discriminated and all I want to do is go and exercise. I feel that I should be heard and something should be done overall she is the general manager and just to point out, several attempts have been made to make her aware of the situation. Something needs to be done pleases.

    Impossible to cancel. Tried cancelling through the app and it wouldnt allow me. I attempted to cancel via phone and they referred me to the website. Website also would not allow me to cancel so I have attempts 3 times to cancel with them via email and there is never a response. I do not know what to do to cancel my membership

    My child was scratched in the face by another child at the kids club. No one contacted me to come check on my child I wasnt aware of what happened until I picked her up. No one apologized and the employees did not see it happened. They dont me she was scratched by another child but put in the report that it was an accident. They arent welcoming when I bring my children there so the fact that no one showed compassion shows exactly how they care for children.

    My review is for the ****** club which has old equipment that seems to break far more than I'd expect based on the usage. Gum and other substances find their way onto the weight stacks and are never cleaned. Some machines have no pins for intermediate weights where pins should exist. Theft of stuff like this seems to occur on a regular basis by the clientele. Cleanliness in the club is hit or miss. Many of the staff act like they can't stand being there and aren't even pleasant when you check in, interrupting their texting on their phones. The Club Manager is almost never to be seen, and the company's customer service seems to be nothing but automated bots. Back to the club, lockers are supposed to be day-use unless marked as Reserved, though some users (probably the Manager's buddies) seem to be exempt from this policy. Must be nice to be a crony.Space utilization in this club is terrible. Tanning rooms have never reopened since COVID--- I'm guessing that no one wants to be bothered to have to clean them. The pool/sauna/steam area is now OK after a summer with various things shut down. Locker rooms are too small and have insufficient toilet facilities , especially this summer, when one of the men's toilet stalls was broken/unavailable for months, there weren't enough facilities for the amount of men in the club. The only positive thing I can say are *********** classes seem to be run well by the instructors, as they are always well attended. But I'm left with an overall impression that the Manager and/or owners feel that it's not worth their time or effort to improve the club, because they think the population is used to things being crappy in that part of town (and sadly, that is true) and will just put up with it. I will be trying to cancel my membership though from other reviews below that looks like it will be difficult. I wish it were possible to leave a zero star review but one star will have to do.
