My other email******************** has been locked out due to "unusual activity" and the only verification method is a phone number that I have owned before (***********) that now has been out of service. I know the username and password of my account I only want to be able to access my account again. I hope you can help me with this issue. Thanks in advance ***Business response

It appears that I have been opted-in to a more expensive plan for my paid email service. This plan is almost double the cost of my plan and now bills my credit card monthly rather than yearly. This is not new service, I have been a customer for years. Apparently, I was supposed to opt-out of this service. I never opted-in and I will state again; this is not a new or trial account for me. I am a resident of the state of Minnesota, our State's consumer protection laws don't allow for automatic opt-in of more expensive services. Lack of an opt-out is not giving consent or opting-in. I want my old account, services, and price restored.Business response

They say I didn't log in "in awhile" and deleted all my emails. I know I log in at least once every 3 to 6 months. My account is **********************. I logged in 2 days ago and found everything gone. I tried everything I could do through their site to get my emails back and there is no option. I just want my emails back.Business response

I have an email account with Yahoo that was created in 2006. Recently I've tried logging into it but it refuses to let me in even after answering the security questions correctly. This is ridiculous! I need to get access to this account in order to retrieve old emails. I refuse to pay $5 for Yahoo to unlock my FREE email account that I created over 15 years ago.Business response

Like countless other people, my privacy was violated and identity stolen thanks to Yahoo's well-publicized data breach. I complained and furnished info just like everybody else and your court ordered them to make restitutions. To date they have not. Nearly 2 years later, I continue losing pay/work time and more endlessly fighting this fight because of the mess they've made of my life! I also recorded a call with one of their agents saying he doesn't understand either why they have not complied with the court order. When you write them at the address they provide they provide the same generic update they appealed the court order - obviously to not honor the court's ruling to pay their victims. If Yahoo is in cahoots with the courts to get out of their sentence please direct me what to do. Thank you.Business response

Yes, exactly what I and everyone else have been getting for years as a response when we contact them - exactly why I wrote the BBB. They admit even here in writing years later they are internally reviewing - not our concern - versus making restitution to their victims they were court ordered to do years ago. The claims review process has been halted while the appeal to the 9th Circuit is briefed and determined by the appellate court. I let Mike the contact person know that all of a sudden I was being bombarded with junk/spam mail when I hadn't been previously but now I was getting a message to get rid of the problem upgrade tp Yahoo + for $5month instead of using the program I had for many years that I have forgotten the lifespan. He said he would let someone know about the sudden increase of spam, not other true resolution with fix or timeline. I have had an email account with yahoo.com for about 20 years. Suddenly I am not allowed to send emails! The only way to get this issue resolved is to upgrade to Yahoo Mail Plus. IE: Pay for an upgrade and they will fix the issue. I can receive but am not allowed to reply or send emails. They are literally holding my account hostage until I start paying them! ******! A free account is a FREE account... I should be able to SEND as well as receive.Business response

Notice to all Yahoo email users! I had two Yahoo email accounts that I used regularly for 3 and 21 years. Last week when I accessed the accounts all emails had been deleted from both accounts. Shocked, I contacted Yahoo, who after several rounds of escalation and quoting policies claimed my accounts showed no activity and were made inactive. They had no record of me accessing my accounts even though I accessed them regularly and had accessed them that day and a couple of days before the emails were deleted. I know that Yahoo keeps backups of their servers daily and could restore them is they chose to. They stand behind their policy of deleting emails from inactive accounts and deny that the accounts had been ever accessed even those I used them regularly. Yahoo's reliability to not delete my emails, is why I chose Yahoo as they stated 21 years ago... We are not like other email companies , as in, our servers have unlimited storage, and will not just delete your emails without notice. This is a warning to anyone using Yahoo mail that your emails can be deleted at any time, irregardless of how frequently you access the email account. I would strongly recommend any Yahoo users copy emails to another location for storage and switch to a more responsible and reliable email provider. Yahoo! On that basis, they belive that their decision to delete all emails in ***************** and *************************** was correct. They admitted that they could restore the emails, but they claimed their policy was not to do it if they do not beklieve the deletion was due to an error on their part. I do not blame Yahoo for what they did, but I do want the emails restored. They know they can d it . Yahoo just dioes not want to spend the time and expennse to go to their back ups to restore the emails. We do not agree with this resolution I am an Altruistic Artist and Human Rights Advocate for American Natives, and for other culturally, spiritually, physically, emotionally, and mentally constrained and intimidated lives. All my life's earnings, my life's expressions, my loving memories of those I mourne were lost, and erased and denied me by Yahoo. Apollo Management Group owns Yahoo. According to ***** a technical advisor who works for Apollo, ''Why did Yahoo deny you the technical support on Februrary 24th, 2022, to restore your emails, and recent activity, as the email deletion occurred 2 days before.'' Both of my email accounts had been active 2 days prior to all my emails deletion. According to ***** on Feb. 24th, 2022, ''Yahoo should have restored the emails, as the event occured that day or two days before,'' as the lost or deleted emails happened on that day of the Ukraine invasion, which was the day Yahoos' servers had glitch, which ***** denied. The entire week I called Yahoo corporation and signed on daily to eamking and charitysmithfield, but each day Yahoo denied any recent activity, and denied me my emails, which proves Yahoo has a glitch. ***** also asked my husband, ''Were all your wifes' emails forwarded to another account recently?'' If it was recently, then then Yahoo has a record of all my emails still, which he admitted they did. My husband told ***** that I did not forward all my emails, and if the emails were forwarded they would be in my sent box, but they were not there. ***** told my husband to give up and it's a waste of time to get them restore your wifes' emails and even though they have servers that have my emails, Apollo Corporation. refuses to restore them. My denial of my emails restoration, was also on the day my Health Care Provider, which was also denying my health care and insisted that day that I give them my personal email account names which my temporally disabled husband gave them. This is not just my personal property but also, my intellectual property as in, sparks of ideas for patents, a published patent, designs, published and unpublished photographs, artworks, installation, correspondences. My original works for volumes of, poetry, political advocacy, curators letters prospectuses, graduate and college and family correspondences, with even more of my messages, documents and unread inventive creative and original mathematic, scientific, artistic and theological works. My intellectual property as well as my life's work is lost to Yahoo corporation all for the sake of the cost to them The response of ***** today who called my husband March 7th 2022,'' Aren't I, (*****), a nice guy and can't you just quit, as you have a 0.00% chance of getting them back". Can't you please stop responding to the BBB or other government organizations to get eamking's and ********************* emails back? *****'s feelings, and Apollo Management Group's setbacks I empathise with, but my empathetic cancelled lifes'work to others who are more constrained and more oppressed, I empathise even more. FTC please help me to get Yahoo to restore my lost emails. Please Pray for a miracle for me, that Yahoo Corporation will restore my lost emails. Internet Crime Complaint 2/24/2022 Date of Yahoo consumer alert 2/24/2022 at 2:12 PM violates BBB standards "U.S., U.K. unveil new sanctions against Russia" shall not use the term "unveil" as it should not be associated with violence. Yahoo is seeking to harm black businesses and threats in media. Telephone protection act makes it a federal crime to stalk another person or intimidate. Unveil is not associated with violence and is for peace. Conspiracy to impede includes forms of speech are false and Yahoo attempts to cause damage to reputation and present others in a false light.Business response
