      i trade in my honda and they put on the payoff the amount of the gap insurance. on the contract never say that have to be together

      I called honda financial services on 05/20/2024 requesting the pay off amount for my 2022 honda accord. I was given a pay off amount of $25,993.69. I specifically asked the representative why the pay off quote was less than what was reflecting online and she stated that that pay off was if I were the one paying off the vehicle. However, since the credit union was paying it off then the amount was the one previously stated. I then called Navy Federal credit union in which I applied for a car loan and gave them the pay off amount honda gave me. Check was made by the credit union for that amount. A few days later, I received a letter from Honda stating my pay off was deficient by $1631.48. I then reached out to them in which numerous times I was told that the representative gave me an incorrect pay off amount. She gave me the pay off amount that is to be given to a dealer. There are multiple notes in their system as well as recorded phone calls made by me to them. They escalated the situation and came up with the conclusion that I have to pay for the remaining amount! They do not want to waive the remaining balance (which they are able to do.)I have called multiple times, have not heard back from anyone. I have been so patient, waiting on hold, explaining my situation and up until today had representatives hang up on me just because I said I need this escalated further and need someone to reach out to me. It's going to be a month still hoping this gets solved as my credit union is expecting my title and if not then the interest on my loan will increase to the highest and all of this is happening because honda does not want to waive the balance even knowing that their representative was definitely at fault.

      I have a total loss for a vehicle I purchased from a Honda dealership in **********, using Honda Financial Services as a finance company. Was suppose to include a loyalty discount and certain free services. Additionally, I purchased GAP insurance and a service and appearance warranty. The free services for buying a certified car were not honored. Recommended services were not performed to make the car ready, so you could expect some deep pocket service fees directly after purchase. Predatory sales tactics. Fast forward around 6 months, I have a total loss that is filed by my insurance with Honda Financial in April. Their first error was requesting the final settlement documents be sent to their check receiving address. Additionally, the insurer kept sending the documents to the proper e-mail after they were notified. I was calling routinely to check on document receipt and they noted that they had not received the documents from the insurer. I finally had the insurer call Honda Financial directly and they still said those documents had not been received. The insurer was able to get them to verify receipt as well verify the times the documents were previously provided. The guarantee form takes 10 days to process.This same issue occurred with receiving the total loss payment. The insurer called on Wednesday and they finally acknowledged receiving the check and processed it within the next 2-3 days. The check was noted as received the previous Monday per tracking. Finally able to cancel my warranty and file my GAP claim. The checks were sent by mail, the only option given on May 30th and June 3rd above the remaining balance. However, Honda cannot locate the checks as of June 13th, is noting my account paid ahead of schedule as behind, intend to file a late payment on June 14th, and as before are noting that they cannot locate the checks and that somehow, I'm responsible for their incompetence.Choose another Finance Company, Ally was great.

      I called Honda to see if they can help me with the situation involving owner of car. I asked them several times to please help me and which they acted as though they have no will power and they just simply could do nothing for the customer or to help our contract. When I asked to speak to supervisor was told a supervisor is not needed for this kind of problems. Which is incorrect. Its wrong and mean spirited. The owner of the vehicle was diagnosed with ***** syndrome and which has affected their ability to see causing them to step down from their job position. The owner felt the job was prepared to fire him as he received several write *** in just two weeks however thats not my issue. My issue is Im the consigner and now have to take over the bill unexpectedly. I called to see if I can make a partial payment but they threaten me that it will go on my credit as a late payment. They then told me I cannot place the account in deferred until 6 months they are not trying to help us with our bill no matter if we told them it wouldnt work like this they just dont care to. They leave us no option but to sell the car.

      Received a call from American Honda Finance on 6/3 regarding a refund of over $1000.00 owed to me on a closed account. ********************************************* Account # ********* regarding ********************* CR-V VIN# *****************. This account is currently paid in full therefore American Honda didn't know how to apply the warranty refund check. I advised them to mail a refund check to me. It has been almost 10 ten days, and they refuse to issue the check. It has been one excuse after another---they refuse to release my money. When I call to speak to management, I am told management or supervisors do not take phone calls. Please help!

      I brought a 2020 Honda Pilot, March 1, 2021. Within that same year (3mths into the note), my radio stopped working. I went to the dealership over and over and over again. In 2022 of April or so, a Computer Technician came from ********** to Philadelphia Dealership (Honda Piazza) I had ****** miles on the **** I have several emails going back and forth with **************** and proof of documents that I went to the dealership(which inconvenienced me on numerous times). Honda Financial still received the monthly payments while I had no radio on a regular basis.Now in 2024 the *** is a total loss and after my warranty company, gap insurance and insurance company paid I still have a balance! I am in awe. I have called customer service millions of times for over a month to resolve the balance of $776.94. I have been told I have a balance of over $3009.** then another representative tells me it's $8xx.**. **************** is incompetent and this was my only way to get resolution. I have been giving the run around from Honda Financial and not taken accountable. I took accountability and continued to pay the bill but now enough is enough when I have been told its from me being late. I felt some type of way being told lies! I am beyond tired of this whole thing. I have been told I have a balance because I have been late, which wasn't true. My monthly payments were $1027.31. I explained this to the representatives I have never been late! I have all my payments that I paid Honda as proof and I have no lates until this bill.I am seeking resolution and I want Honda to zero out the bill due to not having access to my radio the whole entire time I had my ***, the inconvenience I incurred having to go back and forth to the dealership. Having to go to the dealership for years and the radio still wasn't fixed. Just me having to go to the dealership almost every month.

      Honda never addressed my issue.  Several representatives advised me the same information that I have a balance but didn't state why I have a balance.  And also Honda didn't address the radio still wasn't working since I brought the pilot.  

      So, no I dont accept the response because they never answered my questions.

      I am rejecting this response because Honda didn't address my complaint at all. I will be suing American Honda Financial for the purchase of a vehicle that radio consistently didn't work and they still won't take accountability for it.  I have tons of receipts and video of me going into the dealership since buying the vehicle and video of the radio not working.  This has caused my migraines which I have prescriptions I was prescribed!

      My 2017 Honda Accord Navagation system stopped working Jan.2024 my car was priced over $30, 000 contacted Honda Corporation several times about the matter every time they put the blame on someone else. Like others I dealt with says Honda needs to fix it , that was included in package when you bought your car. Contacted Garmin liked Honda told me they said that's a Honda problem even took my car here to my local Honda was schedule appt. by them was told they don't do that kind of repair there. I emailed Honda about matter was given case number NEVER was contacted but was sent a follow up email asking me to score a survey on how Honda rep. took care of my needs when I was contacted which NEVER happen to this day.My husband has 2016 **** F 150 his navagation system works fine to this day. No one at Honda Corporation cares they don't contact but if you haven't made your payment within 2 ********** still within your grace ****** they know how to contact you quick about that.I can't be first person this has happen to no one can provide an answer or take the time to talk to me & resolve this matter.
