Complaint Against Honda Financial Services I financed a 2025 Honda Civic through Honda Financial Services in November 2024. Since then, I have made multiple on-time payments toward my auto loan. However, as of today, none of these payments have been reported to any of the three major credit bureaus (Experian, Equifax, and **********).This is a significant issue because my account has been open since November 19, 2024, yet there is no record of payments on my credit report. A lack of reporting on an active installment loan does not reflect well on my credit profile and affects my ability to build and maintain a strong credit history.I am requesting that Honda Financial Services report all payments made on my loan to the credit bureaus and ensure accurate reporting moving forward.I would appreciate a swift resolution to this issue. Thank you for your attention to this matter.Sincerely,**** ***** ****************** ********** Account Number: *********Business Response

I have a 2024 Honda Prolouge that was involved in an accident in mid of December 2024. My car is still in the body shop waiting for back order parts. I was told it will be here in March 31. Now I have been told 4/11/2025. I am trying numerous times to contact Honda Finance to negotiate Forgiveness for my lease payment since the part has been back ordered for four months. They never contacted me back . I am paying a rental and paying a lease . I understand I should paying for January but why I am paying a car sitting in Honda body shop due to Honda failures . They should at least contact me to discuss. I am asking to negotiate for some leasing forgiveness but they dont even contact me back . I talked with Honda American Parts supplier asking if there is a higher authority or place I can ask for help and complain, they told me they are the highest one . There is no such place in the entire Honda business would talk to me . I am hoping at least they can contact me to discuss my issues. At this point I am asking $1228 since the car still sitting in the shop . Dont know how long will take them to fix it. . They gave me the *** delivery date but they have passed . So it is I know when I will get my car back . So I want negotiate with them for my situation .Business Response

Attention Honda Financial legal team,Re: VIN ***************** HONDA CIVIC OPPORTUNITY TO CURE/PRIVATE SETTLEMENT OFFER. UNLAWFUL REPOSESSION I am giving you the opportunity to cure what your customer service team has not. I was told by your customer service supervisor on March 27 that Honda Financial is not responsible for its third-party agents(the repo company) behavior And to pursue the unlawful Repossession against the repossession company itself. The supervisor even said the legal department looked at all of my evidence. If you did, in fact look at evidence of the unlawful repossession with photos, video, lifting my car with me in it, and are telling me to take my dispute elsewhere Honda Finacial has a losing battle.Federal law takes precedence over company policies that conflict with it, as established by the Supremacy Clause. Also the *****, *** regulations, and NJ laws prohibit unlawful repossession and misconduct by third party debt collectors. The violations penalties are more than the remaining balance on the car. If I have to pursue litigation I will sue Honda Financial for emotional damage under the New Jersey consumer fraud act which gets multiplied times 3 under the ****** goal has always been to settle this amicably and quietly between us. My opportunity to cure and private settlement offer is for Honda Financial to send my car back to me with the title & inspect and repair any damages at a Honda service center due to the repo company dropping my car. For emotional distress I want new tires, oil change & any fluid services due. I also want my credit report updated to paid as agreed as I paid off the lease.I was assured on previous calls that my car would not be sent to auction during dispute.I was told on March ******************************************** the event that my car is auctioned during this dispute,my fair resolution is a brand new 2025 Red Honda civic sport;the same name and model to my original car. ************* issued a motor vehicle tax credit to file with this year's taxes. The MVR-1 form was sent to the owner of the vehicle which in this case is Honda as I lease through them. Per WV code "Leasing companies qualify for the credit and are required to pass the savings on to the consumer leasing the motor vehicle. Please contact your leasing company for more information on when and how you can expect to see the discount.??". I called Honda Financial directly to discuss this and they had to investigate it further and would call me back. When they did call me back they said I had to file it on my taxes. That is not the case.. The taxes are not paid under my name, I didn't get and won't get the MVR-1 form for this vehicle, and the vehicle is not in my name. At this point Honda Financial is withholding the tax credit that I am owed.Business Response

had a lease on 2023 Honda HRV through ******* Honda, Nashua, NH but lease was through Honda Financial Service. Obtained loan through personal bank (*******************) to buy out lease and submitted the checks and paperwork to Honda Financial Service with loan pay off of 1/31/25. ****** credit union received the title from them on 3/19/25. Numerous phone calls where made to find out what the hold up was on the title and tickets were created to help but no one I spoke with could give me a reason why the title to the bank was not sent out. This was holding up me registering the vehicle. On 3/10/25 I requested a member of management call me so that I could file a complaint but I still have not received a phone call. Not sure if I would have received better treatment if I went through them with purchasing the vehicle. When I reached out to ******* Honda I was told they usually have the title within 7-10 days. With this treatment I and any other's I have spoken to will not purchase or lease a vehicle with Honda. Sad that the company does not care about the people that are helping put food on their tables. Extremely disappointed!!!Business Response

I moved from ********** to ******** and contacted Honda in July 2023 to update my vehicle registration. Honda sent me a packet with the title so I could obtain NY plates. During this process, I specifically asked if there would be any additional changes, such as registration fees or sales tax, since my California registration and sales tax were included in my lease. I was explicitly told that no additional charges would apply and that my monthly payment would be adjusted accordingly. However, in September 2023, my co-signer, ****** *****, received a notice stating that my account was past due. Upon calling Honda, I was informed that I owed $784.75 in sales tax difference. I never received this notice, and because my account was on auto-pay, I was unaware of the additional amount due. It took me a month to gather the unplanned amount, leading Honda to report two months of late payments on both my and my co-signers credit reports.I have had car payments for 20 years and was never late until this situation. My father and co-signer, ****** *****, has an even longer history of on-time payments. The lack of proper communication from Honda resulted in an unjust negative impact on our credit. I have spoken with multiple Honda representatives, and they should have records of my inquiries and concerns on my account.I was unable to file this complaint sooner because I was unaware of the negative impact it had on our credit, especially in regard to auto financing. I am formally requesting that Honda update both my and my co-signers credit reports to remove the late payments, as the charges were not properly disclosed and the situation was beyond our control.Thank you for your time and prompt attention to this.Business Response
