I was a pharmacy tech student at Monsbey College nearly 10 years ago. During my time as a student, this business felt extremely unprofessional and unorganized. An example I have is how ***** (the "president" of the school) communicates with students - he once mentioned the fact that I've gained weight (extremely rude). He didn't know this, but I was in my first trimester of pregnancy at the time. There were many other interactions with him that felt degrading and unnecessary. So many that I actually recorded some of the conversations with him to share with my husband. I did this because the condescending things ***** would say to me were really hard to believe. But I got through the nonsense, and achieved my pharmacy tech license. This is why I decided to keep quiet about the unprofessional experience I had. Fast forward to today - I regretfully let my license expire during the ******** pandemic. Now I'd like to reapply but I cannot do so without certain paperwork that the school should have in their system. This meant I had to interact with this school again. ***** told me that I should have the papers in my own files and that it's my fault I don't have these certificates I need. This would be true, however I chose to not be a part of the awkward pharmacy tech "graduation ceremony", so I do not have the certificates in hand. After nearly a year of respectfully yet persistently trying to find a solution with this school in locating my files, I am finally here to say that I am giving up. There are many reasons why this business has terrible reviews - now you can add a lack of alumni support to the list. I wouldn't recommend this school to anyone, there are several other local program options that weren't available 10 years ago. I'm surprised they've been in business for this long. Please go somewhere else.

We appreciate BBB's concern and feedback regarding the issue raised by a former student, Ms.*****************************. Based on our information, she completed her studies at our institution and has consistently spoken highly of her experiences here. Following her graduation, she pursued a successful career as a ******** Technician for multiple years. We place significant importance on such issues and are fully dedicated to handling them with expediency and efficiency. Each educational institution within ********** is required to retain students' records for a period of five years after their graduation or departure. Nevertheless, our administrative team has conducted a comprehensive inquiry into the matter that was raised for our consideration. The standardized process for acquiring documentation from the college is universally applicable to all students, reflecting our primary objective of fostering student achievement. During our initial interaction, we provide clear guidance to each applicant regarding the sequential instructions to be pursued. These instructions are delineated as follows:Initially, the student must reach out to the ********** ***** of ******** to confirm their eligibility for reapplication (after 10 years).Once eligibility is confirmed, the student is required to submit a written application along with specific documents to the college. These documents encompass a completed board application, a valid ID, a course completion certificate issued by the college, and an expired pharmacy technician license.Upon receipt of the application, our college reviews the submission and duly completes the relevant sections of the application form. A duplicate set of documents is retained for our records, while the complete packet is returned to the student. Subsequently, it is the student's responsibility to forward the packet to the ***** of ******** with the required fees for further procedural steps. Our records indicate that the student engaged with us via phone communication in November 2022. However, despite this initial contact, no application or associated documents have been received by our institution up to the present date. It's crucial to emphasize that disregarding proper documentation and essential verification contravenes established regulations and significantly impacts credibility.Any additional remarks and narratives present in the email are unrelated to the matter at hand and are perceived as a direct personal affront to an individual. Please do not hesitate to reach out if BBB have any further questions or concerns. We value your partnership and look forward to a positive and productive association.
