Yikes, did not realize that when you place an order you are roped into a 3 month subscription that you have to pay back if you cancel. Plus when you cancel you have to email or call. It is all very scammy and misleading. Will never buy from here again.Hum Nutrition, Inc.

The cancellation process is ridiculous. They make you sign up for a subscription and in order to cancel you have to write an email ***************************** call their customer support with an extended wait time. It seems like a way to get peoples money unknowinglyHum Nutrition, Inc.

I made a purchase and a month later I was charged again. Realizing I was somehow in a subscription, I reached out via email to cancel my subscription before the order was sent. They responded quickly and then never got back to me about canceling. I reached out via chat and once I told them I wanted to proceed with canceling, I got an automatic message saying I was contacting them outside of chat hours even though their chat hours state they are 24/7. *both times the representative told me that I would be charged $67 for getting into the subscription even though I only had $33 dollars worth of discount applied to the first order. I gave it an hour and I reached out via chat. I got the same representative. The quickly forwarded my Chat to another representative who made numerous attempts to keep me in my subscription that I never knew I had and didn't want. The whole experience was frustrating and ultimately I was charged $33 for the initial discount that was applied. I didn't fret about the charge, apparently it was my mistake for misleading advertisement. However, customer service was poor and canceling was stressful. I will never order from this business again due to the sneaky and pushy nature of the company and I advise anyone looking to make a purchase from this company to be cautious.Hum Nutrition, Inc.

At checkout, we have two subscription options available. Monthly Plan: This flexible option allows you to cancel anytime. You can mix and match your items each month, and you're only charged for what's in your cart on shipping day.VIP Plan: Our VIP Plan offers an extra 20% discount on all orders with a minimum commitment of three orders. If you cancel before completing three orders, the discount will be void. The savings chargeback associated with the VIP just makes your order full price like you had selected the monthly plan since you had wanted to cancel before completing the 3 order commitment.I understand that you may prefer a one-time order option but at this time we are solely subscription-based.I see you used our chat feature twice and sent in an email on Aug. 22nd about your order. The various communication threads may have caused some confusion. As you had indicated you had a second order processing on Aug 22nd, the savings chargeback represented the VIP ************ for BOTH orders, which is why it was originally $67.50. Misleading business practices. Product and misleading monthly membership plan that has costed me more money in 3 months that I ever epxected to spend. And I haven't felt any differences with the product. Honestly, don't waste your money at all. They just charged me $110 for a second round of vitamins I didn't even order. Now I'm stuck in a 3 month contract without even realizing I signed up for it (maybe I didn't sign up and they are just charging me and hoping I wouldn't notice. had a subscription for YEARS. Today they decided to charge my account early with no notice. in this economy? you wanna start shady practices without any policy updates? will be canceling my subscription and usage after i get my order. it isnt worth the hassle of knowing they dont care about the money they are taking. instead of the customer service rep addressing the issue at hand they just canceled my order that got charged early.Hum Nutrition, Inc.

We have not made any policy updates as it is still HUM policy to send out 7-day pre-shipment notifications. HUM Nutrition cannot update the next shipment date unless the customer updates the shipment date via their online HUM dashboard or through customer support. To confirm, the order in question was voided by customer support. Their checkout procedure is deceptive by not clearly stating you are agreeing to a subscription. I placed an order for two supplements, and didn't see anywhere that it was a subscription. Just received an email that my next shipment would be shipping soon, so I contacted the company to cancel. Had to pay an additional $23 for a chargeback to cancel, due to supposed VIP discount I had received. I never saw any information about a subscription, would never have signed up for that. Completely deceptive practice. I don't care how good the product is, I will never use this company again.Hum Nutrition, Inc.

This company scammed me. Placed a not time order, and specifically unchecked the box asking me to sign up for their vip subscription. A week later I receive an email welcoming me to their subscription. I go when I go to the website to cancel I'm not able to do it, so instead contact customer support. Customer support does not communicate with me and instead charges me $20 cancellation fee. Tried to contact the company back to multiple times and was ignored each time. I'll now have to report it as fraud on my credit card so they can't continue charging me.Hum Nutrition, Inc.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Their weight loss products made me gain weight. Their skin products made me get rashes & irritated my skin. When I tried to cancel, since I did not want to order a 3rd time, they said they would charge me $118 for my other 2 orders to cancel the 3rd order. There was no statement of me having to comment to 3 orders before canceling. This company is a ************* Do not order from them.Hum Nutrition, Inc.

Hum's practices are disappointing & scammy. To not be able to cancel a subscription on the website is not customer friendly, nor is it acceptable in this day & age. Nor should it be acceptable. It is obviously meant to be a barrier to discourage people from canceling. That might give Hum more money in the short term, but it certainly doesn't elicit loyalty or trust from people who feel trapped & are frustrated by it.If U want to cancel early they charge $17+, but it is not clear when U sign up. To me this is unethical. I actually liked the products as I purchased this brand from both *********************** within the last year or two, but now I have a bad view of Hum in general from purchasing on their own website. Keep in mind, I am familiar with subscription programs. Many of these companies make it a little difficult to cancel. But at least they provide the option. They also do not penalize for cancelling like Hum does. Finally, as I was regretting ever purchasing from their website I found that they have better deals for some of their exact same Hum products at sites like Walmart.com. Why lock us into a subscription service that doesn't even offer competitive prices? Not cool, Hum. The prices for Hum products are also steep compared with competitors who offer similar products, so I have no idea why anyone orders from a scammy, expensive company. I regret that I did. When I expressed that I was unhappy & found the process less than transparent I received an apology. I was still charged for cancelling, so that was NOT A REAL APOLOGY and this company does not care about our experiences. The fact that I had to email with Hum 4 times back and forth to even get the cancellation shows that they are happy wasting our time, while still taking our money. Some of Hum's products may work well, but I will likely never know. I am relieved to have severed any financial relationship with a company that has shady practices. Buyers beware!Hum Nutrition, Inc.
