      4/13 had an appointment at 12 afternoon at the Townfair in ****** **. They did a routine tire rotation & an alignment. My car was running fine before it was worked on. No shaking, no dragging etc. I was given the car back at 2:00 and charged $115.92 I left for 10 minutes and noticed that on the highway it shakes when I go 60mph. I came back at 2:20. Told to wait an additional 1 hour. I got my car, they said all they needed to do to fix the problem was a tire remount. I left. Got on the highway, same shake at 60mph. Nothing fixed. I do not want to get anyone in trouble, however, I already gave them the chance to fix the problem that was created, and they did not. I want my money back.

      I want to start off with saying that I did not pay any money. I came to Town fair tire for an alignment on my truck. 30 minutes prior to my appointment I just finished putting in new Ball joints and Control Arms. I get a call from the one of the techs. They said that my tie rod was bent. I knew it was not bent. They had my truck in the parking lot before I came back. I went home and looked at the tie rod. You can see pressure marks on the bottom of it from when they lifted up the truck. They lied about bending my tie rod and told me it was already like that. I will be seeking Payment to cover this repair. I hope to Hear back from you within 7 days or I will file a small claims case. I have photos before and after. Time stamped.

      We sincerely apologize for the issue Mr, **** is having with his vehicle. This is the first this office is hearing of this issue. After speaking with the store no alignmnet was performed at all. The alignment tech noticed the vehicle had a bad tie rod after lifting the vehicle and did not perform any alignment service on it. At this point as a courtesy we would be more than happy to pay the average cost of a diagnosis ($150.00) towards the repair at the shop of Mr. ****** choice. Please have Mr, ***** contact me at ###-###-#### to take advantage of t his offer.

      On February 1, 2024, I brought my vehicle to town fair tire for the usual tire rotation. After I drove away a week later in *****, I realized I heard a noise in my front left tire. I got out to check and noticed that one of the lugs actually was able to be unthreaded With my fingers. It was also not the original lug. I also noticed the other logs around the vehicle were stripped in a manner where I cannot even get a tire wrench on them. Upon calling town fair tire I was rudely argued with, and told that that’s not how the world works . So now I cannot change any of my tires without pounding the lugs off. They refuse to fix it, saying it was not them that did it, even though they were the ones that rotated the tires. I asked them to purchase new logs and install them without stripping them. They refused.

      To Whom It May Concern;

      We sincerely apologize for the issue you Mr. **** is having with his vehicle. Thi is the first this office is hearing of his issue. Unfortunately a number of the for modles have an inherent issue of the lugs swelling. This is due to the two piece design of the lug and living in *** *******. The cap and the lug start to corrode internally and swell so they no longer fit the proper socket. We cannot cause this issue it takes time and nature. The odd lug in the picture is actually one of the OEM lugs missing the cap. It will eventually happen to all of the lugs on the vehicle. A quick ***** search of "**** Lug nut issues" will show numerous pages of people complaing about the same exact issue. There is a class action lawsuit against **** that Mr. **** may want to look into regarding this. At this point as a courtesy we will gladly split replacing the lugs with Mr. **** to help him out. We will also gladly install them at no charge. To arrange the paritial reimbursement of the lugs and the install please have hims contcat me at ###-###-####.

      I went in to get my two rear tires replaced. I waited over 2 hours and as I was checking out was told my rear passenger side tire would need a new lug nut as they stripped it and did not have a replacement on hand. I thought that was a bit odd and know it’s not recommended to drive very long with a missing lug nut. So I went straight to AutoZone to buy the right size. As I went to put it on I realized the stud was stripped and damaged as well. Once I discovered this I drove back and asked what could be done. They attempted to make a fix in the parking lot, but were unsuccessful. I was then told they would need to take the tire back off but it would be awhile before they could fit me back in. It had already been 5 hours since I arrived and needed to get home. I live 45 minutes away from this location and was told again there was no need to worry about the missing a lug nut for the drive. I am hopeful there is not any damage from driving that long without a lug nut, but we’ll see after I get it fixed somewhere else of course. I find it pretty incredible someone can damage your car, send you off with a missing lug nut, and then not prioritize fixing it when you return. Installation Location: Town Fair Tire Center Store# *** *** ******* *** *********** ** ***** ***** ******** Installation Appointment: Mar 15, 2024 @ 12:30 PM

      I went to Town Fair Tire Center at ** **** **** ***** ***** ***** *********** on January 6, 2024 for brand new tires and an alignment. When they finished the job, they gave me a receipt of summary of what they did except I did not get the alignment report. When I asked them for that alignment report, they told me that their printer does not work and that I could come back the following week to get that alignment report. Now right there, that was a red flag for me telling me that they did not do an alignment on my car at all even though they charged me for it. I still have the invoice and receipts of all of the jobs that they did. When I came back the following week for that alignment report, they told me that they cannot go back and print out that report for me. Instead they told me that they have to put my car on the ramp again in order to get that alignment report. All of these processes did not take more than 4 minutes. How is that possible? The problem that I have right now is that I have a strange and uneven tear and wear marks on all of my tires all around which tells me, again, that they did not do an alignment at all. At this point, it leaves me no choice but to take my car to another car shop and pay once again for that alignment. Please note, I will also file a complaint with consumer protection and every other state agency that is available to me. My tires are only a little over a month old and it shows that there is uneven tear and wear all around the tires. Like I said, I will seek help about this with every state agency that is available to me. Once again, everything that I stated in this complaint, I do have proof, invoice, and receipts. I also have pictures of these uneven wears on my tires.

      We sincerely apologize for the issue Mr. ***** is having with the tires and the alignment. It is unclear why the tires would be wearing already. If the tires are showing uneven or strange wear with less than 10k miles on them we will gadly replace the tires at no charge in any of our stores. In either case we will gladly recheck the alignment for Mr. ***** in any of our stores as well. If he prefers we will gladly refund him for teh service instead. Please have him contact me at ###-###-#### in order to arrange the replacement or refund.

      Townfaire Tire in ********* over torqued my lock nuts to a point where the key’ed adapter sheared off when trying to take the tire off. I contacted the store and was immediately met with hostility and was offered no solution until I asked for the corporate number. I asked the store just to get the locked nut off with no charge and they couldn’t even come to that. I didn’t even ask for compensation or reimbursement. Ended up going to the dealership and they told me that townfaire over torqued it to a point where the only option was to drill the bolt off. A simple tire fix went from $400 to now over $800. $150 for the tow, $300 to get the bolt off and $400 for the tire change

      ********* ** Town Fair Tire Location - Brought my truck into have the tires rotated since I purchased my tire at this location. This is in January 4th (2024). Upon picking up my truck one of the center caps on my wheel was broken off and stuck on like nothing happened. If I had drove away it would have fa**** off. Store manager admitted they broke it and would have to get a new one ordered. These are also pruven wheels which Town Fair sells. Every week I call and they say sorry the manager is not in we don't know anything except that wheel is no longer made and we need to wait for a new one. Went in last week and was told sorry maybe we can find a used on one **** will let you know right away. No call back nothing. Go back into store employees say not manger on duty we don't know anything about it. At this point no center cap and salt and dirt is getting inside expensive wheels. If this can't be replaced my wheels should be replaced. Zero customer service and no one is keepign me updated, basically waiting for me to stop asking which I won't. Will go to small claims court soon.

      I decided on going to this establishment for two new front tires. there was not a “TPMS” light in my dashboard when I parked my car in their lot. I go inside, order new tires, an alignment and a tire balance. They change my tires. They show me a paper that showed alignment details. When I went to pay for this service, I was told that the tire light that was now on and “should turn off within the next few miles that I drive.” A few hours later the light was still on. I call back, they tell me to bring the vehicle back so they can try and reset the TPMS. I bring the car back a few days later, they pull a scanner out of there tools and tell me that the battery in the tire pressure monitor is dead and would be replaced for 70+$ for one, but I “should replace all four for better results.” I am not paying for something that was broken by this business and would like it to be replaced free of charge. Forget about my steering wheel not being slightly turned to the right due to a bad alignment.

      Business response

      02/02/2024

      To Whom It May Concern:

      We sincerely apologize for the issue Mr. ******* is having with his TPMS. This is the first we are hearing of Mr. *******'s issue. TPMS have an average service life of 5 to 7 years. It is very common that the battery in a sensor will die when running the reset procerdure. This is because the sensor is forced to do much more work than it normally does. In cases such as this we would normally inspect the sensor to if it is physically damaged. If it is broken or damaged we know that would be from teh service and we would replace it at no charge. If the sensor is not damaged we know it is a regular wear an tear issue and the customer would be responsible for the replacement. At this point as a courtesy we will gladly replace the sensor regardless of the issue. Please have Mr. ******* contact me at ###-###-#### to arrange the replacement.
