      In November 2020 I replaced my genuine ***** tires and rims. Shortly after I did so I realized I should not have changed the tires because they were still good with much tread on them (Plus they legitimately would drive 100 miles on a flat with no issues or rim damage) but I had not been educated about it at that time. And when my original ***** tires were still on the car I never got stuck on snow or ice which I have several times since replacing the tires/rims. Furthermore, your sales people never suggested that I get a better quality tire living in *** ******* when we have snow and ice every year!! I found that out the hard way because my car started getting stuck on ice and snow when that had not ever happened with my ***** tires. On top of it I know that my tires were most likely sold to a used tire place and they made money off of me!! So now it’s not even two years since I had these new tires and rims put on and Townfair will not even give me any credit whatsoever!! All of my tires with the exception of one have no tread and they’re not even two years old yet! I find this completely unacceptable and I either want my original ***** tires back or to tell me where they were sold so I can go buy them from that vendor or get similar ones. Townfair quoted me approximately $1200 to get four new decent tires! I don’t have that kind of money and why would I pay that after what they’ve done to me? Or even use them again? Alternatively, I would like to get a good credit towards new tires that are appropriate for *** ******* weather. I did go into Townfair in ******** *********** where the work was done and the purchase made in November 2020 but they said they would not give me any credit whatsoever and I think that is terrible and I’ve been ripped off. Thank you.

      To Whom It May Concern;

      We sincerely apologize for the issue Ms. ******* is having with the tires on her vehicle. This is the first this office is hearing of Ms. ********* issue. The tires she purchased with her wheel package were our economy tires. We do offer a 30 day test drive on the tires will normally extend it out to 90 days had she informed us there was an issue. Unfortunately with it being almost 2 years since we installed the wheels and tires we would not have any of her old tires or wheels. We can offer a buy back on the tires. If she has less than 10k miles on the tires we will give 100% credit on what she paid for the tires themselves (about $65.00 per tire).  If she has over 10k miles on the tires we would pro rate the tires for her based on a 40k mile life expectancy and half of her usage as a courtesy. So if she drove 20k milease we would look at it as if she drove 10k miles and and give her a 75% credit instead of a 50% credit. She would be able to put the credit towards the tires of her choice. Please have Ms. ******* contact me at ************** *** *** to arrange the credit in store.

      Sincerely,

      Rich A****

      I went into the **** ******** Store for a tire rotation. I was told that i would need to make an appointment for the next day, which I did. I came in exactly the time of the appointment, and they told me that i would have to wait 3 hours. The manager was a fool. He told me that I should have gone to, other Town Fair Tire stores. I contacted management and was contacted by Rich A****. I tried to contact him in vain, then he sent me an email that he would send me a check for $50.00 for my time. I never received the check or heard back from him again. absolutely terrible customer service. I asked if they could give me an alignment and the $50.00. The appointment was in the middle of the day, and I cancelled other things to be there. I never heard back from Rich A****, after he originally sent me an email apologizing and said he would send me a check. Absolutely terrible customer service from the top down.

      On June 20, 2022, I took my car to Town Fair Tire for 2 tires and a 4-wheel alignment. When I got home, I noticed that 3 lug nut caps were missing. I made an appointment to have them put back on my car. When I got there, I told the person waiting on me why I made the appointment and showed him the missing lug nut caps. Another person came over and wanted me to show him. After showing him, he said that they were not responsible and refused to put the caps on my car. If there was a problem putting them on, why didn't that just give them to me. I would have had someone else put them on. How do I get my lug nut caps back from them?

      To Whom It May Concern;

      We sincerely apologize for the issue and inconvenience Mr. *********** has experienced. This is the first this office i hearing of this issue. It is unclear if the chicle is missing the plastic caps that inbtergrate into the hubcap or if the lugs are missing the faux chrome caps that are welded on and have a tendency com off after they swell. In either case we will gladly cover their replacement. We will send Mr. *********** $50.00 to cover the caps and the gas to get them. We will send the refund to the address provided by the BBB.

      On March 13, 20022, I went to purchase 4 tires for my 2019 ******** **** (current miles at the time 26380). However, the type needed had to be order and would be available the next day. Tires were ordered and an appointment was made for the next morning. An offer was made to check and inflate exiting tires on car which was excepted. During this check, a large piece of equipment fell on the hood of my car. The manager was informed and requested an estimate for repair. the estimate was submitted on March 15. the estimate was submitted in person and was assured the matter would be resolved quickly. At the time I had a second car available when the ******** **** was in repair. This car is now not available. So i have to request a two day rental car additionally. Called the local store twice with no result or returned updates.

      I got 4 brand new tires in November 2021. I have had them for only 5 months. We always thought the tire looked funny but town fair said they were fine. A couple days ago we noticed a huge bubble bulge in the tire. I called town fair and they told me I don’t have a warranty and I would have to buy another tire. I spent about 1000 dollars on tires 5 months later I had to spend another 230 dollars for another tire. I tried to call cooperate multiple times but I can’t seem to ever speak to someone directly. I am very disappointed.

      I bought a set of tires for my 2016 *** ****** a year ago. When I got it service the dealership advised me about my front right tire having internal damage and advise me It was still under warranty. So I bring it to townfair tire to be replaced. When I drop it off there they told me I qualify for a new tire then later on I was called to pick up my vehicle. When I got there I was told my tire was repaired. When I got their I asked how was it repaired if I had internal damage. I was told they plug a hole and seal a beam. When I brought it back to the dealer the next day I was told the damage is still there. So I brought the car back to town fair tire. I told them exactly what the technician said about the belt shifting and I was told it might be a bent rim and they will check it. Then I received a call about not having warranty for the tire. If I didn’t have warranty why was I told the tire will be replace and why did they try to replace it and why did I have to come back twice to be told I wasn’t under warranty

      This is the first this office is hearing of Mr. ***** issue. It is unclear why the tire was out of round. The tire was covered for 40k miles for wear based on usage and defect are covered pro rata for the life of the tire. With that said Mr. *** has driven at least 22k miles on 2 tires and even more on the older 2. This would have given Mr, *** about a 45% credit per tire. The store did issue a credit of 40% or $50.04. At this point as a one time courtesy I will gladly refund the remainder of the tire itself ($83.00). We will send a check to the address submitted to the BBB.

      To BBB, I ***** ***** made a visit to Town Fair Town *** **** *** ** ***** ** ***** on January 24, 2022 to purchase 4 new tires for my 2006 ******* ****** with mileage of 183336. The cost of the total transaction was 558.98. I noticed the defects in both front end tires on how worn-out the inside tire treads were and immediately contacted Town Fair tire to inform them I was sold used tires and was very upset and dissatisfied that I was sold used tires. Unfortunately the conversation over the phone got aggressive as soon as tire rode was mentioned in our conversation. I really took offense to that, because I felt they immediately was blaming my car for the defects of the tire because the age of my car. My phone conversation was with one of the managers I don't recall his name. But as stated, wasn't happy with the phone conversation. I brought my vehicle back March 4, 2022 at 8AM with the return mileage of 184226. I directed two customers service managers to look at the tires in question both looked at me and said those are band new tires. I took offense and felt I was discriminated based on the age of my vehicle with out really looking into the matter that I got sold faulty tires. I have examples of the faulty tires which I driven 860 mileage to the return date March 4, 2022. I informed both managers that it no way a car can wear out tire treads like that with just 860 miles with a tire alignment it's not possible. I requested for all four tires to be replaced due to the fact I was sold used front tires from the start, but they only replaced the two front tires. I'm really upset and displeased with the customer service at that location. I will never shop there again and won't recommend anyone I know to do so. They sold me used tires and that so dishonest!!!

      We sincerely apologize for the issue Mr. ***** is having with the tires and the store. This the first this office is hearing of Mr. *****'s issue. It is unclear what happened with the tires. We agree that on average an alignment takes about 1,000 miles normally to wear tires. However in extreme cases we have seen alignments so severely out that it wore out the tires the same day they were installed. With that said either way the store should have replaced the tires. It sound like 2 were changed and we will gladly replace the other 2 for Mr. *****. Please have him contcat me at ************** *** *** to arrange the swap.

      Had an appointment with Town Fair Tire in ********* ************* at 5pm on 1/5/2022 to fix a nail in the tire in my less than 2 year old 2021 ***** ***********. Waited an hour for them to say they are sorry but they snapped a lug nut off and that if I bring it to the dealership to get it fixed TFT will reimburse but there wouldn't be a charge for the "nail fix". I asked for them to put it in writing on the slip...since the one they handed(along with the snapped lugnut) didn't state anything about it. The employee seemed annoyed at the request and wrote it in pen on the printed out slip. They didn't even warn me that it wasnt safe to drive and that i needed fix it asap...I had to look that up myself after I left. I want not only FULL reimbursement for the damage but I want and I'm fully entitled to compensation of the time I'm missing for work, aggravation this has caused, the wear and tear this damage has done to vehicle, and the rental car i'm going to need while i wait to get MY CAR serviced.
