      I bought a ********* Pellet Grill. Within a couple of weeks I had to call them to replace a bad sensor. Now it has been a little over a year. The grill sensor is bad again and the grill temperature gets so hot that it trips my outlet. I have been trying to resolve this issue but when you contact ********* the give a a different number for outdoor grills. When you call that number it is not a working number. When you tell them that they transfer your call to another not working number. This grill gets so hot that it feels like its a fire danger. It is totally unacceptable that such a large company has no customer service for their grills.

      I ordered an item from *********, a replacement drip pan for my toaster/convection oven. I filled out my address and they took my payment but they shipped it to alternate location miles from my home. They said that if there is a problem delivering they sometimes deliver to a third party for pick up. The **** never attempted delivery, they took it straight to the alternate address. I ordered it to be delivered to my house, I have contacted them many times asking for a refund. They said they have to wait till the 3rd party returns it and it’s back in their warehouse before they can issue a refund. That was two or three weeks ago and haven’t received a refund or any further correspondence. I told them if I wanted to drive to a store and pick it up I would have done that in the first place and not ordered it for delivery. The did not deliver the product to me and should give an immediate refund instead of making me wait. This is their fault.

      Product number: ********** Had a $200 straightener cause a fire at my home. No issue with the outlet after electrical professional inspection. My claim to them is just for the replacement. They want the straightener back however because it almost burned my house down the fire dept disposed of it. At the time I wasnt thinking let me hold onto this defective product so I can send as at the time I was just worried about safety. But now a few weeks later and they refuse to send me a new one since I cant send back the old one. No product nor compensation offer. I went as high up on the customer service chain with emails back and forth for days on end. They refuse to help me. The product wasnt even 2 years old. Im very upset about the way they do business.

      Hi,

       

      We have requested copy of the fire report or a copy of your sales receipt for a replacement.  What you have describe in your original email is a Lind Cord Rupture, which is trauma to the cord by wrapping the cord around a hot straightener.

      Consumer original email states:

      it’s recently stopped
      turning on and even started created sparks from the cord. I cannot
      use, as the most recent incident caused a burning smell from the
      connection between straightener and cord.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      in my questionnaire that you asked me to fill out I clearly noted that I do not ever wrap the cord around the straightener. I gently fold it back and forth and place it next to the straightener. 
      my local fire department has advised be that it will take 10-12 weeks to get a written fire report. I am a professional and cannot go 3 months without straightening my hair. I need a replacement sent out.

      Without evaluating the unit, we can not determine what happen.  As we mentioned before, the original email from the consumer indicates trauma to the cord.  Please give us the number to your local fire department so we can have someone confirm the incident.

      Purchased a cuisinart steam oven less than a year ago. Warranty terms and conditions state the company will repair or replace unit if not working within warranty period. Due to discontinued, company only wants to provide store credit to cuisinart.com with inflated MSRP prices. Company should honor repair or replace (with similar level of product) or provide refund.
