      Seen on 04/25/24 I paid $86.40 was only suppose to pay $42.20 after insurance. Seen on 05/13/24 I paid $309.60 was only suppose to pay $113.60 after insurance. On 4/25 I got X-rays and a plan for my tooth. On 5/13 I got a filing that left me in excruciating pain for 8 days. I had a appointment with them on the 8th day and they called and canceled on me an hour before my appointment and told me I need to go to a specialist for a root canal cause I shouldnt still be in that much pain. Even when I called several times through the week telling them how much pain I was in they kept telling me its normal. Insurance part that are over charging when when you try to get a refund they give the run around and say they will have someone call. Well they run solely on a voicemail system so you can never get ahold of anyone and no one calls back. I ended up going to an emergency dental and having the tooth extracted the next day of the canceled appointment. I couldnt take the pain no longer and wouldnt know how long it would be to get into a specialist. So I would like my money back including the money paid for filing that left me in pain for over a week and having to extract that tooth. Paid for failed work also failed customer service and compassion for their patients. Instead of calling the insurance providers they just over charge consumers and its near impossible to get your money back!

      Despite Sage Dental being considered in-network for Delta Dental, they have been overcharging me since I became a patient there in 2020. I have repeatedly asked itemized receipts for my visits multiple times in the past two months from their customer service and have gotten nothing. Online billing statements from Delta Dental and the amount between patient responsiblity and what I was charged above that amount have repeatedly been more than the Insurance provider and Provider's agreed amount. Furthermore, I contacted Delta Dental regarding visits on 9/11/23 , 1/12/24, 2/14/24, and 05/17/24. Delta Dental's investigation revealed that they overcharged me $95.10

      I am rejecting this response for the following reasons:

      1) The email and phone number associated with this complaint  are the contacts on my patient record, therefore, the additional step of filling out a HIPAA form is superfluous.

      2) I received a call from someone from **** who forwarded me the ledger and said they would mail me a check in a few weeks. To date, I have not received a check. Since the original complaint is requesting the overpayments be refunded, and no refund has been received, the issue is NOT resolved.

      I went for a visit to have an estimate for a wisdom tooth surgery. After my visit they gave me an estimate and told the mount for it. I didnt get the surgery at this facility. When my visit was over I spoke the front desk associate and she told me that I had to pay for the visit because apparently the visit wasnt covered by my insurance. Reluctantly I did it. After the visit I called my insurance gave the code for my visit and told that indeed my insurance did cover my visit that I didnt have to pay anything. So I filed a claim with my insurance and was told that they would get back to me. Days go by and months go. My insurance told be the claim had been resolved and that they paid them for my visit. So I called back this facility and told me that my insurance hasnt covered the bill that I have to contact my insurance again. So I did I called my insurance and was told that the claim has been processed. Then again I call the sage dental office and was told the same thing that my insurance hasnt covered my bill hence they cant give me a refund. This been and ongoing thing with them.

      Aside from the practice being money hungry and extremely deceptive, they have intentionally neglected request via RELEASE OF DENTAL RECORDS REQUESTS FORMS to forward my dental records as well as my daughters dental records to our new dentist. I also have not heard back on my follow up request. Because insurance comes into play my treatments have been held up, as I will not be charged OOP for a service that was already paid for at sage by my insurance plan. It is IMPERATIVE that sage dental act professionally putting personal feelings aside and follow through with releasing our records in their entirety to our new dentist. This matter needs to be rectified immediately. I will continue to follow through with as many parties as possible until they get tired of being outted.

      I was told that I had to pay my co-pay, which I did. Then I received a bill of $582.00. I asked the office manager to make sure there would be no additional costs. If there would have been, I would not move forward with the next service. I could have waited to have it done in 2025. In my opinion they pulled the OLD Bait and ******************* is NOT Trustworthy.

      Requesting an itemized billing for dental procedures. I have requested this numerous times with no results. I personally went to their dental practice, a young lady said that she would get me the billing by the end of that day ( Friday ) or by the following Monday. She called me on Monday saying that they were very busy but would send me the billing by Tuesday. That was 3 weeks ago and still no results. Approx. 2 weeks ago, I wrote to this office on their web site and have not heard a word. Makes me wonder if they owe me money rather than me owing them. There have been times in the past that they owed us money based on what our insurance ( Delta Dental ) paid them. We have since switched to another Dental practice.

      Twice I have scheduled appointments with a person and received confirmations via text and email and both times when I get there Im not showing in their records. I show the manager my confirmations and she shrugged and said well we dont have you listed. This is not acceptable!!

      I went to Sage Dental on Nov 1, 2023, Nov 9, 2023, and Nov 27, 2023 for dental work. I was charged before my insurance was billed. I asked if I overpaid would I receive a refund I was told yes. After my insurance was billed and paid SAge Dental I was only supposed to pay $1,375 instead I paid $2,561. I should receive a refund of $1186.00. I contacted the office where I was seen and provided the insurance details showing what I was responsible for paying. I was told they could not issue a refund at the office it had to be sent to billing at corporate. I still have not received my refund and am still getting the run-around.
