Opened account 07/15/2022 and canceled online the same day as the service was not as advertised. On 7/15/2022 my bank account was charged $****, $.95, $5**** and **** again. Since then, I have called over 15 times to inquire about my refund and to this date my account has not been refunded. WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO TO GET MY MONEY BACK????Business response

We are sorry to hear that you are not completely satisfied with the information you were provided. We see that you purchased a detailed person report. In addition, you cancelled your 3 day trial within the trial period which is why you were billed the $9.95. 6/8/2022 was supposed to be originally charged for .95 but got charged for more ***** and ****. Been trying since then to get refund to my account and have been through multiple service personal via phone and email.Business response

Click search unauthorized used an credit card that someone stolen from me to take money off my credit card. I file an identification thief report with the Federal trade commission and told them about it. They refunded me. Then some how they took money again. And i complain to them about it.Business response

I used Clicksearch under a three day trial and canceled my trial the same day i signed up. They charged me that day for the full monthly subscription. The web site stated that i could cancel within three days for no fee. They charged me $58.95,$9.95,$9.95,$9.95, $9.95, & $0.95. I tried to have my credit card removed from their online website but you can't because their site won't allow you to remove payment information. The free 3 day trial is not free clearly. I feel like this company is operating in a fraudulent manner and taking advantage of people daily. I tried to log into my account but they deleted my account before I could get the information off it. I called today to find out why they charged me but they said they couldnt help me because they deleted my account after i had called a left a message over the weekend. yes i threated to *** them so I'm guessing they deleted my account so that i couldnt. I didnt delete my account because i was trying to get my money back first before i did that. ClickSearch decided for me that they would delete the account. I dont have any supporting info other than my credit card statement. I filled a dispute of the charges with my Credit card company. ClickSearch told me they couldnt refund me the charges because i filled the dispute with my credit card company. They were suppose to contact me about this is*** and have not done so.Business response

We would like to clarify this complaint. This customer was refunded in full on 8/1/22, as requested by the customer. There have been no deleting of the customers account, as the customer attempted to obtain the information after the refund was issued. Your account is then deactivated and you no longer have access to the dashboard. Unsure why the customer is making fraudulent claims 16 days after they were refunded in full.Initial Complaint

This company gave me absolutely no information and regarding or pertaining to thank you anyone that I know My phone was in my pocket and was on this website It appears for $4.95 I was supposed to be for looking up someone's name but instead the company decided to Give me wrong information and then bill my credit card almost $400 for absolutely nothing Now you're telling me that you'll pay my money back to my account without my authorization of3 times for 89. 95 52 .95 1 time4 .95 1 time Within 5 days You say you'll refund my money you stole ****** said than done I need that money for my kids food on the table you have stolen my information and my information and broken into my breaking account and taken every last dime I've had It's obvious from reading the reviews about this company what you can do to someone's bank account The part that I don't understand is how the state attorney is allowing this to happen I will be reaching out to them next to see what other or next steps I will be taking to make sure your company's doors are shut down and someone is prosecuted for stealing someone like myself Money without 0 authorization It used to be overseas company that did this but to see that you're out of ********** ******* discuss me that you're an actual ********* doing this behind closed doors I didn't I dare you to give me a call and we can settle this face-to-face I would like to see you hand me my money back straight to my face and tell me why you stole every dime I had in my bank account I hope bbb does The work that the BBB says they will do behind something like this Yes I can show proof to the BBB Please somebody tell me how this company is still allowed to be online advertising for something that they do not do they get your credit card information and rob youBusiness response

We apologize you are not completely satisfied, however, I would like to clarify the chain of events. You subscribed and performed 2 detailed searches for a number and then a person. You must of accidentally purchased the detailed reports 2x. ******** did not return your money, we refunded you for the duplicated purchases on your part. You have now since disputed the remaining 3 which we are unable to assist you any further as it is now being dealt with through the banking system. We do not voluntarily perform searches on your behalf, you performed these searches and we provided the detailed information. We hope this clarifies your concerns.Initial Complaint

I logged on to click search and consented to a $0.95 trial on July 21, 2022. After 5 minutes on the site, within the allowed period, I unsubscribed. A few minutes later I was charged $89.95 for a full subscription . I called my local *************** and the teller said to try to resolve the issue myself. I emailed click search and the next day received an email from *************************** saying that my money would be refunded in 1-5 days. The next day, July 22,2022, I was charged 2 additional charges of $9.85 each. I again emailed click search and was told the charges would be refunded in 3-5 days. Then nothing. On July 27, 2022 I called *************** and filed a dispute. It will take 90 days to resolve. I am on a fixed income and have been -$50 overdrawn since July 21. Any help is greatly appreciated.Business response

On June 28th 2022 I was charged three separate transactions by this website that I've never even used. I'm not sure how they attained my debit card information but they took .95 cents ***** and ***** out of my account.I've been in contact with the company several times over the last few weeks expecting my refund for the transactions that were fraudulently charged to my account and all they do is email and confirm a refund when no refund has been received.Business response

The detailed reports were sent to your email, which matches this email you are providing on this platform. There is no other way to receive the information. If you would like, I can provide the exact names and number of the 2 individuals that you searched and the full detail comprehensive report you received on the number searched. You also received all of your login credentials and receipt via email, which matches this email also. The 30 day refund policy was provided both at checkout and sent with your login credentials. Opened account 7.4.22 and canceled online the same day as the service was not as advertised. On 7.5.22 my bank account was charged $9.95, $.95, $59.85 I called and verbally canceled and requested a refund. Later in the day on 7.5.22 I was charged another $9.95. I subscribed to a trial membership for $.95 on 6/25/22. I was having trouble navigating through the app. I checked my bank account minutes later and saw that they had made two additional charges of $19.95 and $29.95. I tried to call them, but they were not open on a Saturday so i immediately sent them an email requesting that my subscription be cancelled and that whatever those additional charges were for be reversed. I also went into the app and manually cancelled my subscription on the same day, 6/25/22. On 6/27/22 I checked my account and they had made another charge of $9.95 to my account. I called and spoke to a representative on that same day, 6/27/22 and they told me somebody would be in contact with me. I received an email later that same day saying my request for a refund had been accepted and I would receive a refund within 1-5 business days. I called several more times checking on my refund and they keep saying they would escalate my concern, then I would receive an email saying the same thing about my refund, that it was on its way. On 7/8/22 I called again and this time they told me they had a problem refunding me because there was a problem with my debit card. I have not changed my card. On that same day I received an email saying if my refund was not received within 3 business days I should contact them again. I called them again 7/12/22 and was told again my concern would be escalated in their "billing department." Nobody contacted me, by phone nor email. I called them again today, 7/13/22 and they sent another email now saying that a billing supervisor will contact me by email within several business days regarding my cancellation request. Still no refund. I can't get anybody in this so called "billing department" to talk to me. The representative always says they will escalate my problem but nothing is resolved.
