  Called them for an outlet that did not work. They spent the majority of tbt time trying to convince me I needed close to $10,000 work if electrical work done on my circuit box and around my home. They tried to tell me that my pool pump which has been working just fine for many years was on a circuit that was not adequate and the circuit needed to be replaced and would cost in the ballpark of $3000. I got a second opinion from a pool company and another electrician who both independently said the pump was fine and the circuit was fine and nothing needed to be replaced. Very disappointing that they would try to take advantage of someone with very little resources.

  What a horrible company there’s no way to give a zero star rating on this site. They came and jackhammer my kitchen floor up for over an hour so you can imagine the dust it created. They didn’t seal off the room. They didn’t cover any of my furniture, and my home was nothing but a white cloud of concrete, dust and drywall dust covering my entire house everything on my walls and furniture. When you sit on my furniture, white puffs clouds comes out disgusting .They won’t return phone calls. They keep promising via text they are going to set up a cleaner, but that never happens, i’ve been leaving messages for over two weeks. They Never returned a phone call. We both have COPD so you can imagine what we’ve been going through with all this dust . All I get from the company is a run around. All the brand new breaker panels that they put in have foam spray all over them because they were sloppy with the foam they were sealing with. They look like they’ve been there for years when they’re brand new that’s what they left me. they even left the can and the top on the breaker boxes. Just sloppy subpar work. Once they get your money they disappear. I’ve had to hire cleaners to come in and completely clean my home shampoo my furniture it’s just a disaster and they don’t care. If you want to be overcharged, you’re home destroyed given sloppy below standard work then this is your company. Otherwise stay clear of them. You can hire a handyman off the street and get better quality work than Mr Sparky provides at a much cheaper price look for other companies. Look at the comments in the ratings that should tell you this company is not one you want to hire. Don’t be fooled they’ll make you think you’re the only person on the Earth. Once they get your money they give you shitty work and a bunch of run around and they don’t come back to fix it. I’ll be filing a small claim against them to recoup my losses from the disaster they knowingly left. DO NOT HIRE MR SPARK. You will regret it.

  I only had a couple of burned-out fuses for my AC in my tiny 420 sq.ft. 1st floor studio Condo but technician starting heavy selling me on total packages over $1,360 before he even opened the fuse box or touched a fuse. I finally talked him down to $500 for the "Bronze Package", but he had to go get the fuses. The Fuses are only $15 each at *********** so subtract from $30 from $500 = 470 for labor. He also had a man in "training" with him, but he wasn't looking much at what technician was doing. The job of installing & rerouting 2 fuses only took ***** minutes. I filed the invoice with my ***************** because these were cheap faulty 15 y/o fuses from developer, but they been out of business for at least 10 years now. So, nobody to complain to. My fault for not waiting another week for the other 2 local electricians I called to get me an available tech or calling the 1st company on ****** farther away for faster service?

  I love working with Mr Sparky. Cole is a wonderful technician. He is knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. He took care of all of my electrical issues. Price is fair and reasonable. I will call on Mr Sparky for future electrical needs.

  They wanted to charge me $ 1,200.00 to change 4 light bulbs in a high ceiling. I was providing the light bulbs. I refused their fee and offered to pay the $ 19.00 (advertised) to come and price the job They said they wanted $ 29.00 (an extra $ 10.00 for the truck expenses to get there). The $ 19.00 for home visit is part of their advertising, Their price to change a light bulb is $ 300.00 per bulb with me providing the bulb.   Excellent and very professional! *** installed a large fixture that was extremely complex. He was prompt, he took care of the installation and did it with excellence. He was outstanding and I would highly recommend him and this company!

  Called to have 2 outdoor wall mounted lights replaced. Ben came out and replaced the lights and cleaned the work area. However, prior to doing the job he did a survey of my home's electrical issues and gave me 3 quotes to complete the recommended upgrades. They ranged from $3500 to over $10 thousand. It was really bothersome to have to listen to all his ** about what I need when I only wanted 2 lights changed.

  They couldnt install a ceiling fan properly. If only there was a way to rate them as zero stars.After a week of dealing with Mister Sparky in December 2022, I had to seek a refund. They installed a ceiling fan that wobbles and wont fix it. Everyone I spoke with seemed to act as though I was asking for the impossible. They promised a refund if I was not satisfied and I have been given the runaround for more than a month. Stay away from this company. Do not give them your business.
