Fetch Vets in Fort Meyers is a for-profit-only vet. I took my 15.5 yr. Japanese Chin, and they wanted to either charge me a min. of $4000 to run tests over two days or euthanize her. Additionally, our Cavalier needed her nails trimmed badly and they scoffed stating that they could not do that as they were not groomers. We made it out with meds after signing a release form stating they were not responsible if she died! Not an ounce of sympathy or concern for our dog or owners. Disgusting! She is doing fine and I will be taking her to my vet. for proper treatment and care.

My distressing encounter at Fetch Emergency Vet Center in Brandon, FL left me shattered. Seeking care for my beloved Belgian Malinois, Beck, known for her role in "R.A.D.A.R Adventures of the Bionic Dog," ended in anguish. Initially, Beck's broken toe seemed manageable, but Fetch's use of sharp, distressing splints worsened her condition. Despite pleas for alternatives, their negligent care led to severe secondary injuries, including profuse bleeding. Rushing Beck to another vet revealed Fetch's splint had deeply harmed her arm, inflicting immense pain and unforeseen expenses. Fetch's partial assistance and refusal to take full responsibility compounded our anguish. This ordeal underscores the importance of vetting emergency services diligently. Trust is vital in such situations, and the consequences of a wrong choice can be catastrophic.

Took my cat here to get checked out. Paid for overnight testing, still have yet to receive those results and its been a week. He has since passed and they have contacted me several times due to a billing error. Sorry, but Im not paying for overnight testing when I STILL DO NOT HAVE THE TEST RESULTS. Obviously they were bad. I feel like he could have gotten proper care if things would have been done in a timely and urgent fashion but I guess Ill never know. Im almost 3k in the hole and my cat died.

Went for an oncology consult (waste of $210 which I finally got refunded for) on 8/9/2023. A physical exam was minimal and she was reliant off an ultrasound done by someone else. Did not complete own ultrasound. Told me my dog would be dead **** months and did not recommend surgery. Chemo treatments estimate was around $4800 due to the chemo drug being hard to obtain.Im so glad I went with my gut and got a 2nd opinion elsewhere. Inconsistencies found with this 2nd opinion ultrasound and initial ultrasound. The mass was removed IMMEDIATELY- no cancer was found ANYWHERE else in his body. He is doing 6 months of chemo as a precaution; his chemo medications are $75 for a month prescription. At recheck today his labs and ultrasound were perfect and there was no sign for concern. We return in 90 days but my boy is healthy. To be told your dog has a limited life span and provide a poor prognosis off findings done incorrectly is unacceptable. My dog would have suffered for months and now he is thriving. I absolutely would NOT recommend FETCH to anyone Completely and utterly unacceptable. FETCH is beyond expensive for the lack of compassionate care you will receive.

I just left this place in Brandon. I am very upset, I couldn’t stop crying and I am so angry at the same time! My dog needs an emergency ultrasound. Her regular doctor thinks it’s an emergency, so they referred this clinic to me. Today they called them to set up an ultrasound appointment, they transferred all her paperwork and told me to go there. So, with my 2 year old son and my sick dog I drove for 1 and a half! Thats how far this place from where I live. When I got there doctor Pfefferle did a consultation and told me that she needs an ultrasound……. First of all, why did I need a consultation and pay $135????? I know this information already! I told him I drove here for her to get an ultrasound, that’s what was my appointment for! But he told me that those people left for today and I have to come back tomorrow for the ultrasound!!! What????!!!!! Is it a joke??? Then his assistant told me that they had no clue I was coming! But she has all my dogs paperwork from the other office infront of her, how she didn’t know!!!! She was lying to me. Then she started saying it was miscommunication the office. Then doctor came and started saying it was miscommunication, and no one told him!!!! So because the incompetent people at this place I had to drive there and pay money for nothing!!!! I would like to get my money back and I need to be contacted by management. I won’t leave it like that, I need a refund, and I would like to get to the bottom of. Why do I have to pay when your office is incompetent???? Can’t believe the veterinarian in Sarasota actually referred this place, hope they will stop after this incident! After this apologies from the doctor for miscommunication at their office, he still stood there and made sure I paid for his consultation!!!! What a shame! All they cared about charging me money for no service!!!!
