      Overall, we had a very good experience with PODS. They delivered the pod on time and placed it well and their recommended service people who loaded (and a second group that unloaded at our destination) were excellent. Our items arrived in good shape, no breakage or damage. Only two (relatively minor problems), the pod was clean and there was no water leakage on our stuff but the closing mechanism was rusty and it was difficult to close and open and I thought it took a little too long to get to our destination, about 15 days from ** to *******. But overall good value for the service delivered, we will definitely use them again.

      My husband and I rented one of the biggest storage units that PODS offered two years ago. We paid the rent all this time. My husband became very sick during this period (spinal infection, COVID, MRSA, congestive heart failure, UTI, etc. He has been in and out of the hospital this whole time. He has also been in and out of two different nursing homes. We couldn't figure out if we should move into another house or not, considering my husband's health. In March of 2025, we were behind in our PODS payments, so we made a settlement agreement with them to get our contents back. I went to Walmart and paid the money. In the agreement we were told we could only get the contents on one specific day. The day before the date given, my husband was taken in an ambulance to the hospital again. I called PODS over and over again, begging to change the day to the end of that week, but they absolutely refused to do so. I emailed, over and over again, with absolutely NO response. They told me I could not call their corporate office in Florida. They not only kept my settlement money, they kept my POD contents and I'm assuming they autioned it off. I am just heartbroken because my wedding dress was in that POD. We have been married for over 44 years and my granddaughter was going to wear it in her wedding. We had that dress taken to the dry cleaners two different times to have it saved. If you think about, there is nothing more personal to a woman than her wedding dress! Nobody at PODS cares! Of course, there was a lot of other things in the POD, but my wedding dress is definitely the most important. I hate PODS for what they have done to us. Now, a stranger has my wedding gown and I am so depressed.

      I have used PODS twice, and I find it very useful, it allowed us to plan and work in an empty space of the house while not affecting the normal use of the other ******** recommendation is to plan the work, and have everything ready, so once you receive the **** you can start and finish the whole home project as quick as possible.

      Good delivery and pickup. Scheduled a pick up before the month ended, and they didn’t come until after. I ended up paying for an extra month. Pay attention to that. Make sure you plan accordingly and schedule pickup even if you aren't fully out of it. Wont issue a refund even though not my fault.

      The delivery and pickup in ******* went very well. The problem was that PODs charged me for a third POD that I cancelled and that had not been delivered. I called and was assured that they were submit an order to refund that charge. They did not do that. When I called weeks later after getting the credit card bill, the man argued that I had to prove that they had gotten the money! I ended up disputing the charge with my credit card company. The delivery in North Carolina also did not go well. The man doing the delivery refused to place the first POD in the location that would allow room for the second POD. He ended up dropping the second POD downhill, which caused the door to be jammed. I called to report the jam and was assured that they could send a truck back to lift the front end of the POD to shift the load away from the door. It would take 2 to 5 days before that would happen. They would sent me an email when it was scheduled. I requested a different pickup date for the second POD because we needed more time to empty the POD after the door could be opened. I was given a new pickup date. No email and no truck happened. My husband was able to lift the roof, release the jam, and we unloaded the POD. We were pleased that a different man came to pickup both PODs on the original pickup date. He was shocked at how we were treated. The charge for a service not provided as well as not providing the service promised was the reason for my score for PODs.

      ABSOLUTELY DO NOT USE PODS. I have used them three times, and after this disaster, never again. The driver flat-out refused to deliver my container to the storage facility even though I had called ahead, confirmed it was allowed, and PODS had delivered there before without any issues. I gave the driver *two* clear options for where to drop off in the parking lot, and he still refused. Because of this driver's poor judgment, I was forced to scramble at the last minute to rent a moving truck, hire movers, and completely rework my plans costing me hundreds of dollars, hours of wasted time, and a ridiculous amount of stress. When I called PODS to get help, they refused to have a supervisor call me. I had to chase them down for two weeks, and when a so-called "manager" finally returned my call, they were rude, dismissive, and basically told me it was my problem, not theirs. No accountability, no apology, and no customer service whatsoever. This company clearly does not care about their customers anymore. Theyre charging premium prices but delivering bottom-barrel service. PODS used to be reliable now they are just an expensive nightmare. I will NEVER use PODS again, and I strongly warn anyone else considering them: stay away and pick a different company.

      I've been passed around on the phone all day after dealing with delivery issues, was told a manager would call me back within 20 mins x3 times and nothing has happened. I really need to speak with someone about my issues

      This was the easiest move I have ever done. The delivery was smooth and drivers were very professional and friendly. My next move will be on a much larger scale and I will be using PODS without a doubt.
