Best trainers ever - professional and they CARE about you and your dogs!Skeptical at first but now a total believer! We have two dogs - a SUPER ENERGETIC chihuahua puppy and an older STUBBORN AND REACTIVE shih tzu mix - both desperately in need of basic obedience and good manners. Just one session with ***** at Smart Start Puppies and we saw an IMMEDIATE change in both the dog behavior and our own!Smart Start Puppies equipped us with all the tools we need to become more confident and responsible dog parents. Two months later and the dogs are completely different dogs - not only are they more obedient and reliable, they seem genuinely happier. I had a great experience here. I did the lifestyle program and it was well worth the time and investment. My trainer was ***** and he was very knowledgeable and reliable. In all I am very happy that I did this training and I enjoy my time with my dog more now than ever before.

These people are a ****! They charged me $4,000 for 1 pup and kept her in a boarding facility for 1 of the 2 weeks that I was unaware of until they checked her out. My dog was returned in an AGGRESSIVE state. She wasnt even potty trained which is basic. When asked for a record of the hours spent with my dog. I was insulted by **** and hung up on. These people should be put in jail! And I will not stop until they are or my money is returned. BEWARE OF ****!

If you care enough about your pet to be reading this review then you obviously care about who you'll be leaving them with. These are not the kind of people that will hold themselves responsible for the health and safety of your pet. They use a shady third party company for boarding during training, that they will tell you nothing about. They will completely wash their hands of any liability upon delivering your pet half dead after training. They claimed to notice he was sick that morning and he had been sick for DAYS! It breaks my heart to imagine what my dog went through under the care of these people. The owner says he "doesn't run a Mickey Mouse company" but in fact that's exactly what he runs. He takes zero ownership of his wrong doings and blames everything on issues with his staff. Your staff is only as good as their leader, it's clear the issues here stem from the top. We left our dog with them for training while we were on our honeymoon. We came home and rushed our dog to the vet spending hundreds of dollars to care for him after getting the worst case of kennel cough our vet had seen. The owner, ****, claimed he would "make thing right" and would repay us for the medical bills. We tried to work with him and again and agin he failed, missing appointments and blaming his staff . We never saw a dime of reimbursement, our dog went through **** and learned nothing from their inadequate training. After trying for months and being way too patient with them we asked for our money back as they have a "lifetime guarantee". It's complete BS, don't be fooled, they are full of empty promises and lack of responsibility and professionalism. Save yourself the heartache and go with another trainer, this place is a joke. Trusting these people was the biggest mistake we've ever made. After getting nowhere with them we ended up opening a claim with our credit card and got our money back. I have every email, every text and every conversation saved. By the way, our dog is thriving with his new trainers!
