Worst day ever (gave 1 star cause 0 was not an option.) Our original quote to move a 3 bedroom house was in the $7000 range. Then someone called a week before to go over everything and it jumped up to $12,000. Whats a person to do at that point, its a week before moving day. On moving day they wanted to bump it up another $2000. When I refused they told me they would fill the moving truck only to a certain point. Sadly we had to sell & throw out a lot! Then on delivery day the same stuff miraculously took up way less space in the moving truck which leads me to believe they purposely packed it poorly on moving day in order to further duress you into paying more.Moving is stressful enough & it may be naive of me think that a moving company should have a better understanding of how much stuff is in a 3 bedroom house & quote appropriately!!Would strongly NOT recommend!!!!Review from Kristina B

I entered my information on a website to receive a quote and this company called me, gave me a quote I was not comfortable with, I declined and hung up and the agent proceeded to harass me. He sent a very aggressive email after the call insinuating I hung up on him, although I ended the conversation before I ended the call he then proceeded to call me 3 times after that trying to give me a quote as if I was a new caller when I finally said Is this the same ****** that *** spoke with 3 times today? He replied Is this *****************? When I said yes, he replied perfect and procedure to hang ** in my face. I continued to receive calls after that and when I would answer it would just be breathing on the other end and then hang up. I have never experienced such horrible customer service, and even worse harassment for declining a service. I feel this employees behavior was being unacceptable.Review from Jerrie L

This company is a scam. Do not fall for promises of a discount or free extra room. They are just middle-people who charge an insane fee and hire a third company to move you. All the promises have fallen short for us. Our only own interaction with this company is when they took the money and none of the responsibility for moving us. They lured us by saying that we are getting a deal because they need a container out where we are going and that we would be getting a 26 foot long container for our stuff- plenty for us. Sounded great. Except for the company that actually showed up when it was time was a third party with about ***** feet long space. What a waste of money! Now we have two days to move all the extra things and the cost was NOT WORTH IT. They pocketed over $3,000 to hook us up with another company that wanted to charge us over $23,000 for the moving. En Route did not pick up our call and are not taking the responsibility. We were told that we were getting our own container, but out things were thrown in with other peoples things in a regular moving truck. Horrible lies. There are no words suitable to describe the conduct of this company. Read all the reviews on the BBB website (Which I failed to do) believe them all and not the others from other websites because the BBB reviews represent the " Horror Show" your about to experience. If I could give an extreme negative rating I would. Long story short Enroute Relocation services quote ** $7000.00 for a move with a 53 Ft. Semi to move our property from *****, **** to **********, **. They minimized the load, size and number of pieces to get ** to sign the contract and apply a 1/3 down payment. As the haul date approached we were contacted to supply them an inventory list, which we did ! Their response was that the load was twice the size than was initially discussed and the price would be increased to $21000.00. What the h*** !After further negotiation they drop the price to $16000.00 with additional payment needed up front. We told them we wanted our money back and to cancel the movers. NOT LIKELY ************* is a SCAM FOR SENIOR CITIZENS and others as well !Review from Skylar H

SCAM! PLEASE READ!Please do not sign the agreement, and do not give them a *****! They con you into not reading the agreement, "like an IPhone update terms and conditions, you do not have to read". If you actually read it, you are forfeiting your rights. They are a brokerage moving company: who can **** the 'estimate' thousands over upon delivery, not guarantee you a delivery date which they said was "moving fraud" (which is a lie!), they aren't responsible for breaking or stolen goods, they send random movers to your place at any time that they want to pick up and take your items. Please see all reviews on this company. I almost used them and was fortunate enough to fight for my money back within minutes. They held me on the phone for 30 minutes, trying to force me to use them.Review from Shekar J

WORST EVER EXPERIENCE - DON'T EVER MAKE THE MISTAKE OF OPTING THIS SERVICE; WOULDN'T WANT TO GIVE EVEN 1 STAR!If this page offered "ZERO stars" option then, it'll be for this company!Quick Points/ WARNING -1. Unprofessional Service Rude staff, unfriendly, unreachable, non-communicative, will talk sweetly during the first call and after you pay will eventually leave customers on the street to further fall into a deep pit!2.They just work with ANY 3rd ************* that they find at the time of order and assign to the same to customers. NO due diligence is done, and NO responsibility is taken later.3. All parties involved (all 3rd parties) will loot the customer since they don't communicate with each other. This is nothing but a money looting service and customers will not have ANY option but to just pay or lose their valuables. Be ready to pay $1000 additional to the Quote that this company provides to you initially.4.On-site personnel (for pick-up OR drop-off) - Get ready to get blackmailed by them "TO PAY MORE OR LEAVE IT" to simply put it in their own words!5. There was ONLY one personnel to drop-off our items (including a 3-seater sofa). So, this means we customers have to pick up our own heavy loads too!6. Delivery time Be ready to wait for your items to get shipped to your new home for at least 3-4 weeks once you have sent them off.7. Items were damaged and missing - contrary to what they sweetly claimed earlier. You won't even get any response after complaining, so BE PREPARED!8.Misleading and Falsifying information - If you are being told by this company that everything will be smooth, nice, and rosy, then you are living in a dream world. Leave even re-assembly these guys left our items on the street, and youll be doomed!9. If I could give zero stars, I would! This moving company is a scam. They conned me into giving them an extra $700. They stated what I had told them, was different than what I had. Not true. They put into their system small bookcases when in fact they were entertainment centers. I paid it because I was otherwise going to have to start over. Then...they asked when was the first available time I could receive my things. I told them the next day, I didn't get my stuff for over a week and a half and that was with me calling every day! I had to take 2 weeks off of work and not get paid for that on top of all the extra charges. The men who actually packed up and unloaded my things were good, but the company itself sucks! SO frustrating and really angry and feel taken advantage of. ***** did a good sales job and convinced mom (me) that her daughter would be well taken care of. This was a set price and to call him if anyone said we owed more money. She measured everything and did not add anything. We even talked with ***************************** who was the "Verification" person to confirm all she was shipping. So.....the day the movers showed up.....they gave her a 30 min heads up they were on their way. This moving company was called Carefree Movers. My daughter called me in tears b/c they were telling her she owed more money. The movers sat out in the parking lot for HOURS waiting for it all to be sorted out between En-Route and Carefree Movers. In the end we ended up paying $500 more. Move ahead to a week later and today they were supposed to deliver. She has heard nothing from them and really when she called a number wasn't really getting much of an answer. So who knows when she will get her furniture delivered in another state thousands of miles away. DO NOT TRUST THE ***** PERSON....LIARS.Review from Bianca D

The ABSOLUTE WORST company to work with!! My one star is way too generous. I had a job scheduled with them for 3/27 and when the carrier showed up to load, they said I would be charged hundreds more because I had a staircase. Steven Santini told me that the flight of stairs would be covered. Then, I was told that I wouldn’t get my items for 14-20 days at the least since the warehouse in Chicago would have to find someone who wants to go to Florida. This is absolutely NOT what was sold to me during the booking process. All of this resulted in me having to haul my items across the country myself since I had to be out by 3/29. They keep claiming that the rule is, in order to get your refund back you have to cancel within 48 hours after you book it. Why would someone cancel that early if they expect to get the job that they paid for on the day that it’s scheduled to be done? I sent multiple emails, text, calls, and voicemails to every number that I had affiliated with this company WHILE THE CARRIER WAS STILL IN MY HOUSE and the days following… no one reached back out to me. How am I supposed to voice my concerns to anyone if no one answers when I reach out? Steven Santini didn’t even have the decency to reach out to me to rectify the situation and it’s been 3 weeks. THEY WILL SELL YOU THE DREAM AND THEN SCAM YOU!!! I am still fighting for my deposit back since they didn’t provide any services at all. The only thing they keep saying is to call customer service but they don’t even have answers for me. Customer service rep claims that a manager will reach out to me but guess who is still waiting. ME. This is the most classless company that I’ve ever considered doing business with. I wish I read these reviews prior to trusting that they would pull through on their promises. I am sure that one of their reps will reply to this as soon as they deem necessary with something to try to cover their butt. Just shows how unprofessional they are that they won’t aim to please. SCAM!
