DONT PURCHASE FROM THEM!! They racially discriminated against me. They overcharged me for vinyl flooring. Almost $17k for 1800 sq ft of flooring and when i changed my mind well before they even did any work because i found 5 other businesses charging for less than $10k for the exact same job this company charged me almost $2000 restocking fee. RESTOCKING FEE?! A fee for material that hadnt been moved!

This has been the most frustrating and disappointing experience with Coastal Carpet One. We were referred to them through a great business partner who is part of the Carpet One franchise in Nashville (I work in real estate and use them frequently). My husband and I came in town to make tile selections for a shower renovation at an investment property in the middle of December. During our meeting with Paul ******* we explained we needed this done by the end of January and he confirmed that was a workable timeline with what we had selected and would keep us aware of scheduling as materials arrived. The last week of January not only had Paul not provided us with updates, he flat out refused to set any realistic expectation of when the remaining materials would arrive. At this time we decided we would like to go another direction and have the work completed with someone else. Paul texted (he rarely picks up the phone) my husband and asked what he was supposed to do with the $4,000 worth of tile he now had on hand. Upon further discussions with a supervisor we were informed there was only $2300 worth of tile and came to the agreement to purchase the materials from them so that cost was not a loss to Coastal Carpet One. When we went to pick up the materials, the employee who pulled the order informed us this was actually done in two separate orders, one in January and one in February. During installation of these materials we now know Coastal Carpet One also incorrectly measured and didn't even order enough to complete the job. We have lost countless hours, accrued extra expenses to find materials in stock to replace what we paid for to make things right with the company, and potential income from allowing guests to stay at our property with this completed. Bottom line is their communication is poor and customer service is clearly not a priority. Please do not give them your business.

Had tile and hardwood installed. The company vastly over estimated the amounts to be used by thousands of dollars. Hardwood installers tried to leave with the extra boxes without mentioning this. Tile layers did leave the extra product. Tile installers threw grout and tile remnants down the shower drain and necessitated calling a plumber. The work done on both projects was substandard. Was told they would not return extra hardwood product, was also told there would be no credits forthcoming and MORE. I have had good experiences with this company in the past but.. this has been a terrible experience. BEWARE
